The room was not as clean as it should. There was garbage behind the toilet from previous guest and dusty. Staff not friendly. Not walking distance from Old Port but Ubers are not expensive.

Situated just on the outskirts of town, about 20 minutes walk from the railway station, about 30-40 minutes walk into the town or can use the bus. Comfortable accommodation with breakfast included, welcoming staff and fitness facilities including gym and outdoor pool.

Honestly the property was a last resort for our traveling stay. While the stay was acceptable, the property is clearly aged and in need of renovation and the price of the stay was highly excessive in our measure. The personnel were helpful and pleasant.

I was very pleased with my stay I thought it was an excellent choice for my stay in Portland. Only wish it was a little closer to walk to Old Port and the tourist area as parking can be costly I did appreciate have a free parking space at the hotel

There was a terrible smell in the parking lot and the room had a foul smell. I made the reservation months ago and we were given a handicapped room which we did not need. Didn't like the handheld shower head. $200 for this room was way too much

This is a good place to stay if you want to spend the day in downtown Portland. It’s only a 2 minutes drive. You don’t have to pay a lot of money to say in downtown. Also you can have a good breakfast before you start your day.

This is the second time I’ve stayed here (the first time was two years prior). The best word I can think of to describe this hotel is “reliable.” There’s tons of parking, the location is convenient, the water pressure is good, beds were comfy, rooms were clean, they have a pretty decent free breakfast, there’s a fitness center, and the price was fair. The only thing that could’ve made this better is a tub to relax in after a long day of traveling. Didn’t use the pool, but it looked great. If I have any future visits to Portland, I’ll be sure to come here.

Rooms were spacious and clean. No views from the hotel but parking is easy. Only complaint is that the hallway on 2nd floor was very cold(seemed to be around 40 degrees). Convenient to town. Not much within walking distance but drive to locations was short. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Perfect for our trip! We were going to a concert at Thompson's Point and spending a few days in the city and this hotel was excellent. Easy walk (about 15 min) to the venue and a short car ride into town. We will be back for sure. Hotel was so clean, to the point you would think it was new. Staff was wonderful. Thank you La Quinta! Please have the toaster repaired or changed for a new 8 slices 🙃. Make sure that soap is always refilled in lobby bathroom. Also, for 4 night stays, why not do the room cleaning after 2 nights instead of the 3rd morning, prior to leaving. Thanks for everything 😍

It is a great location, so many things to visit around, great restaurants, the hotel is fairly, the pool was clean open 9am to 9pm that's great to enjoy a bit on a busy day, my only concern was the shower curtain that was to old and stinks.

Clean room with a comfy bed. Hotel could use a bit of upkeep (uneven floors in bathroom, bottom of bathroom door coming apart) and the pillows were awful but the bed was comfy. Served our needs for a overnight stop. Nice breakfast included.
