The staff was nice the room was nice very affordable everything was perfect.

This is the dirtiest place I have ever been. Notice how there are 5 star reviews, those exist because they offer long term guests a 10% discount for leaving a 5 star review and mentioning a name of one of the employees. DO NOT BE FOOLED!
I arrived at around 3 o’clock and the room went “cleaned” yet so I went ahead and took the key so we could go and do what we had planned for the day. We returned back to this motel around 9:30 and took our bags up to the room.
Upon entering, the smell was that of mold and weed. I turned down the bed and noticed cigarette burns all over the comforter. As I was doing this the fire alarm started chirping, indicating that the battery needed replaced.
I went downstairs to let the guy at the front desk know, and he moved us to a different room. Once I got into this room the first thing I noticed was that the nightstand was pulled out from the wall. The drawer was wide open on it and had some weird white powder on it. I tried closing the drawer, but it would not stay closed. Looked at the bed and again, cigarette burns all over the comforter. Then I notice some GIANT bug on the curtains. This was the final straw for me.
We packed our bags back downstairs, gave the key back and left. I had very little sleep from the night before, and had about 3.5 hour drive home still, but honestly I would rather take the chance of falling asleep behind the wheel and dying than taking my chances here.
DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

This was the worst experience we have ever experienced. From the moment we entered the parking lot to the 7 minutes it took us to hurry and leave the property. We asked for a refund of our money and the guy at the front desk never mad eye contact and said you’ll need to call a manger tomorrow. They have a sign in the lobby offering 10% off of your stay if you have them a 5 star review prior to your stay! The entire place should be condemned.

I had a great a great experience at this hotel. Yolanda at the font desk was so helpful in everything that I needed. The hotel is safe and clean, very quiet and lot of parking space. Would definitely come back

Only 1 washer is working in entire facility with over 100 guest at any time of the day. Too many people at times stand around front desk at critical times of the day which are check in/extending stay and check out which is quite uncomfortable. I know some guest don't mean any harm but when a guest turns around and ask someone checking in "so you're from Mississippi because that's what your license says" or "hey is that a Chase Bank card" is just a bit too much. Other than that life is what you make it at Hometowne Studios.

I really appreciate the staff. From Mrs. Yolanda and Mrs Debra to KB and MGMT Mrs Janelle they all go over and beyond to accommodate and an old lady like myself really appreciates it!

This hotel was extremely convenient from the St. Louis airport. I was booked to stay for multiple weeks and Janelle the manager was very helpful.
Debra , Vicki , and Yolanda at the front desk helped with recommendations for restaurants and stores nearby.

The permanent residents looked at us like we were invading their space from the moment we checked in! The bathroom looked like no one had even attempted to clean it since whoever was there last. The freezer still had food in it from who knows when. There was a cop sitting in the parking lot. Seemingly just waiting to be needed. Overall the cleanliness and lack of feeling safe made us check out 30 minutes after checking in. We were charged the entire stay but we still paid it to just get out of there

Driveway is tricky to see a night, but that’s not their fault, just be aware. Nice, clean room, cold fridge, towels fluffy and smell nice. The shower water, girl the shower water, I feel fresh and clean, not stripped down dry and icky, but soft. I would defiantly stay here again, all the staff is very friendly, K.B, Debra and Yolunda one of them is always there and very helpful

The water pressure was not good I had to clean my room when I arrive I was informed I could not check out early but I still left on 15 by 11 am someone either got in my room are attempted . Hotel policy stated no one should be in room but guests yet think it ok to charge if someone messes up latch. They have rules in state about lodging and tourism tell you how place should be up to safety and standards. It is not .the staff are nice but this is not acceptable. This is reason to change a reservation. There is another hotel policy about guests have a right to privacy. My privacy was violated when someone try go in my room I had a right to check out and i should be compensated for that and all extra expenses to get a place after

This has been home for 5 months. The workers here have made sure we are comfortable. I really appreciate that. Never had a a problem in the 5 months .

This property had prostitutes and thugs drinking in the parking lot. Roaches in the room. Deplorable conditions. I checked in and never went back. I wanted to cancel or checkout. Spoke with hotel twice and KB told me I could not. I will never say a nice word about Expedia. I even got protection and still can not get any help.

I stayed here a week but only because they wouldn’t refund my money for leaving early.
This was the dirtiest place I’ve ever stayed. Too many long term renters who don’t care anything about cleanliness. An egg was dropped in the hallway on the laminate flooring and even though I mentioned it to the front desk no one ever completely cleaned it up.

The rooms are spacious and clean. The location right off 270 is so convenient and there’s plenty of stores within reasonable driving distance. The staff here is amazing. KB is very personable and fun to talk to.

It smelled like an ash tray when I walked in, the elevator didn't work and the room was not clean. My "non-smoking" room wreaked of cigarettes.

This property was horrendous!! Before even checking in we noticed how unsafe the area was. Upon going in it smelled so bad inside! When trying to check in, the front desk employee tried charging me for the room I had already paid for. Once getting to the room I was disgusted! The mattress had no bedding on it at all, no sheets, no cover, no pillow cases. The mattress had stains all over. The tub had bugs and dirt in it. The walls had discolored, patched over holes all over. When we asked for a different room, it was the same thing! No bedding. When we spoke to front desk again they were closing up, only to tell us they had no clean bedding. Everything was washing. Like what!??? This is unheard of! Totally unprofessional nasty. We couldn’t even stay there after driving 10 hours. And spending well earned money!

We have slept in the feild, and the feild was cleaner then this place, the shower had mildew, the towels and bed had hair in them, the sinks look like it haven’t been clean years, looks nothing like the pictures, one of the pillows was stained with orange? I hope it was just juice or something, the chair that was in the Corner was really cracked and very dirty, over all just a really dirty room, will never stay there again, we only paid $77 and it shows why it was so cheap. I’m sorry to say it but they should be closed, and deep cleaned,
