Safe area of city. Tree s and nature paths accessable to go out and walk. Exercise center inside. Grill area. Suites have anything needed. Clean. Accomadating. Super satifyed. If return for same or similar event , here is place Ive foundI see no reason look elsewhere

I love Candlewood Suites on Inverness, in Birmingham AL. The rooms are clean and DON’T smell like cigarettes. They are very nice, and the kitchen in the suites have been updated.

The hotel is in a very convenient location. The beds are average but I do like they provide 4-5 pillows per bed. We came for a girls’ weekend, needing convenience and safety. This hotel is better suited for long-term stays since it comes with a full fridge, dishwasher, and other kitchen amenities. My complaints are the room units need a switch to keep the fan running instead of kicking on and off. That kept us awake. You could also hear the elevator all night, again, the white noise from a constant fan would have prevented any outside noises. I forgot my toothbrush and they were out. This I don't fault them for just because it was during the time of Hurricane Milton so they might have given away all of them. But still would think they should have had plenty.

Checked in pretty late 7 pm ish.. Traffick on 280 was terrible..that is a mess...but checked in and found our room. It was clean, smelled fresh. Water faucet in kitchen leaked a little but kitchenette was nice. Beds were ok.. I was hoping for better but could have been much worst. Hallways a little noisy at first but things settled down. The room was nice. Carpets were clean everything checked ok on my list. In the morning I was pleasently surprised that the location was very sweet..up in the mountains. The morning was cool and the cardinals were jumping from car to car..I didnt want to go home.. very nice property..I would have loved to stay another night but was in a hurry to get home to Florida after Hurricane Helene. We will try to swing back in here... maybe stay a few days.Whataburger is right there and a gas station..

First time staying here, but will not be my last The rooms were nice and layout very convenient. They are pet friendly, but need to be mindful of cleaning sofa. Ours had pet hair on it, so we covered it with a sheet.

While not great, it was a nice place to stay overnight. The service staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and fit our family of five just fine. The shower faucet was difficult to use for our kids due to it needing maintenance. The air conditioner was very loud and clunky sounding. The pool is pretty small and can get crowded quickly, though our family did enjoy it. The coffee was actually pretty good. No breakfast in the morning though. Also, no onsite EV charging. Though, the location just off the highway and very near a Tesla Supercharger is a plus. There are many stores and places to eat close by so this could be a great place for someone.

This property was DIFFICULT to navigate to. We could see it from the street address, but it was difficult to get to from that address. Poor signage, winding streets prevented ease of arrival.

The hotel did renovations, it’s a nice bandaid on a hotel that needs more. The hotel must be understaffed, and cleanliness is not a priority. The floors are dirty. My room needed a good surface clean. The amount of dust on the alarm clock/lamp on the nightstand was crazy. You must bring down dirty towels to front desk for exchange of new towels ( sometimes they don’t have any clean towels and need to come back) Housekeeping is not available daily.

This hotel used to be the Hyatt a while ago. Initially I had trouble finding it because the owners had changed. However, I’m glad that the hotel is stil in good condit under different management. The housekeeping staff was extremely nice and eager to help, they honestly don’t get enough credit for what they do!

What I liked or found unique about the property: 1. Spacious Rooms: The room was very large, providing plenty of space to relax and move around. 2. Comfortable Accommodations: The bed and furniture were very comfortable, contributing to a restful stay. 3. Full Kitchen: The room included a full kitchen, which is a great convenience for preparing meals and snacks, especially for longer stays. 4. Home-Like Feel: The combination of spaciousness and kitchen facilities made the stay feel more like being at home rather than a typical hotel.

Clean lobby area. Friendy staff. I liked especially Doug. Walk ways to room are clean. Coffee /tea availabe. Penty of parking. Rooms are clean, all appliances are functional. There wont be room cleaning each day, front desk told me to bring your lines for exchange if you need. Room carpet is bit sticky, if you walk bare foot. Has decent pool and Gazibo/bbq area for guests. Convenient to all shopping and restaurants. Since room is studio, so just bring your groceries. I would stay there again, if possible. Best value compared to others in that price range.

My son and I were there for his baseball tournament and our stay was great.. The hotel room was very roomy and everything was nice and clean.. We got through playing early and the manager let us check out early without any penalties of having to pay for the extra days I originally blocked off.. That was very much appreciated.. We will def be staying here again..

Pool was closed everytime I tried to take my kid swimming. I skipped one night because there was like 80 people down there but when I tried to take my kid when no one was around it was closed both times.

Very spacious room with full size fridge. Very clean and comfortable. In town for baseball tournament and would highly recommend to all the baseball families. Huge laundry room that’s free of charge! Thank you for a great stay!!!

The property is clean, well appointed and roomy. A couple of maintenance issues in the room (broken drawer..just a screw that had come out, broken power receptacle cover and broken USB plugs in the bedside power station) but they weren’t that big of a problem. The room was nice. They gave me no receipt when we checked out ...said "Expedia would do that". Expedia didn't, of course, so I checked my credit card transactions only to find that the Candlewood had charged an additional $75 before the trip and, if that was a deposit, it still hasn't been refunded days after our stay. The staff was otherwise courteous and helpful.

First of all we did not get the room we reserved on Orbitz. We booked a king bed with accessible bath room and a couch. We ended up with a non accessible bathroom with no couch. Evidently Candlewood or Orbitz did not update the photos when this hotel was acquired from Hyatt Place. Instead of being helpful staff were argumentative. We will never stay here again. Also the traffic on the highway next to the hotel is tremendously busy with cars constantly exceeding the speed limit. It is difficult to access the hotel. We had to drive through a gas station to get back to the hotel after eating dinner.

At best, a very average hotel, and too pricey for just being average. Front desk clerk acted like she couldn’t care less. There are no employees beyond the front desk clerk so when we didn’t have sheets on a bed or needed more towels, we had to come get them. So strange and again, not worth the price.
