We’ve stayed at Moroccan multiple times primarily due to the location, cost and facilities it provides. It is a bit dated from a decore perspective, and large rooms means that not everything is squeaky clean, but these are mor than overcome by the location. Staff are really friendly too

We absolutely loved our stay at Breakfree Moroccan Apartments. The staff are very welcoming and helpful, the location is great and the view was amazing from our 3 bedroom apartment. We didn’t need a car as the public transport is so good. I would definitely recommend staying at these apartments.

Great spacious rooms, across from beach. Short walk to Cavil mall. Pool and spa inside and out. Sound proof rooms when you shut the windows and doors. We stayed in 294 on the 21st floor, amazing views and wrap around decking. A shame it's all a bit dated and alot of maintenance needs to be done to the room but it wouldn't take much for the owner to fix. Had a couple of issues with the room which reception fixed straight away.

Location is excellent. Extra charge for internet. Elevator had significant issues of not working on several days. The bedroom overhead fan did not work. Towel racks were old and bent. Pictures were missing from the walls with hooks still visible. Clean but looked worn.

Great location, great views, massive apartment and nothing the kids could possibly wreck. But overall condition was terrible, lack of window coverings and the beds were very uncomfortable making our stay quite uncomfortable

Apartment was very aged and not well maintained (219 5th floor). Mould all over bathroom ceiling, toilets older than me, furnishings old and dated, taps barely worked....I could go on. Level of cleanliness was also poor. The best thing about the place was location and outdoor pool facilities. Be warned you will be woken up at 6am every morning by garbage collection plus kept awake on Friday and Saturday nights by the nightclub on the roof next door!

Have previously stayed here many times with great experiences of rooms, this trip room was sub-standard, tired, furniture well worn & very grubby! Bathrooms seriously need attention, can see grim & mould around shower linings, showers leaked, toilets constantly leaked. When advised front desk Lady said that was one of their better rooms & weren’t aware of things needing fixing, I think you need to speak with housekeeping or atleast get an overview each week from housekeeping on room status & upgrades, lifts smelt with old grotty carpet Paying good money expectation letdown. Plus’s great views, great location, overall facilities are good, parking etc Moroccan has always been my accommodation of choice have just booked another 14 night trip in June with a different resort. Disappointed.

I have strayed there before and is a great location apartment this time had a great veiw but was a little run down and could have been cleaner was surprised there was no aircon the pools are nice and would stay again just hope they do something with that appartment before they rent it again

Place was in a great location and Room on the 11th floor was a good size but holes ,dints and scratches on walls,windows in the bedrooms were that rusty they couldn't fully close,carpets were dirty in the elevators and in the room, mildew around the sliding glass doors that open up to the balcony and rusty and dirty ceiling fans.was a bit over priced for the condition it was in,had hotel rooms for cheaper

Amazing view but accomodation is dated, windows don’t close and the view apartment is right next to cali beach club which is a party from day to night so no real relief from it if you are a light sleeper.

Arrived for check in to find our apartment had no water and no power. This seemed inconvenient to the manager on duty as we asked for a new room. Not very helpful and felt that we had inconvenienced them when it should of been the other way round. I think they just wanted to finish their shift.

Really impressed with the 2br apartment. Love how main br has ensuite! Spacious, open plan with fantadtic water views. Love how all rooms have a door to the balcony overlooking SP Beach too. Walking distance to city centre (one block). Convenient for public transport also.

Older building with older furniture. Dim lighting in the rooms. Definitely in need of a renovation. It was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Very close to the beach and a short walk to Cavill Ave. The price was ok for the condition of the unit.

There was a lot not to like. The apartment was old and looked like it had not been cleaned in a long time. Walls had lots of marks. The bathroom was old and the tiles/grout were mouldy. The cabinets needed repair as did the toilet. The kitchen had a melted oven. The stove was old as was the microwave, but working. One couch you could not sit on as you fell into it. The windows were very dirty. Carpet very old. Water pressure was odd sometimes not even there. The only thing we liked was the bed. It was very comfortable. The fan in the bedroom was ver noisy and old.

Great size and location. But really needs some love. Mouldy bathrooms. Range hood wasn't working and we had maintenance come to lol at it but they wouldn't fix it. Which is really annoying because we specifically picked a place with a kitchen to cook for the kids.

Amazing homestay with nice view. Very close to beach, tram station, souvenir shop and others. The most important for muslim traveller is halal food-only 5-10 min walking to halal restaurants. The best homestay and trip ever, worth it with price. Highly recommended.

The property as a whole is nice, location is perfect. Unfortunately the apartment we stayed in was in need of an upgrade. The bathroom had mould and rust and just didn’t look clean at all. The couches were also terrible to sit on - it was a shame as we had stayed there in the past and that apartment was much nicer.

We always wanted to stay at the Moroccan on View Avenue, as it looked fabulous from outside. However, our stay was very disappointing, it whole building needs a makeover. On the website it stated aircon and heating; However, there were 2 aircon/heating systems in the apartment and both were not working, they had a big sign saying "out of order" and it seemed to have been like this for quite some time. The week that we were there was quite cold so you needed heating. There were no blankets in any of the bedrooms. There was a dinning chair with 3 legs. The laundry had a horrible smell like dead fish. The apartment itself needed some TLC and lots of maintenance. There was no WiFi in the room. It made our stay very unpleasant. On the upside it had great panoramic views from the huge balcony. Unfortunately, we would not recommend this property.

The view of the beach was great, the unit had Foxtel and 3 bedrooms which, for the money was great value. Great building security and perfect location only about 200 metres from the beach and right in the heart of surfers.

We had a wonderful stay and the room was fantastic but the indoor pool area badly needs to be renovated as tiles around the pool have fallen off and the paint peel on the roof needs to be repainted apart from these things it's a really nice place to stay

Great central location and perfect for us. Each apartment is owned separately so quality of furnishings is different from apartment to apartment. In general our apartment was good however one tv and one airconditioner were not working (had out of service sign attached...). Not a problem as we didn’t need them. Also the PVU dining chairs were all peeling (due to humidity I guess)

We had a function in surfers paradise so chose the Moroccan, we had a 1 bedroom apartment with beach view. Rooms are on the old side but clean and comfortable with full kitchen facilities.
