Bernardus Lodge & Spa offers 73 accommodations with iPod docking stations and DVD players. Rooms open to balconies or patios. Accommodations offer separate dining areas. Pillowtop beds feature Egyptian cotton sheets, down comforters, and premium bedding. 32-inch LCD televisions come with premium cable channels, first-run movies, and pay movies. Nice hotel but all facility need some cleaning, power wash building will be a great and easy thing to do. Reception was below average, our room was infected inside outside by fly, we asked to move and they told me the hotel was full for the next 2 days, after talking with Valet and housekeeping we understand it wasn’t the case. Apparently they are just not motivated. The hotel has a beautiful garden and you can use a nice Mercedes convertible for free ( 4 h) unfortunately the lady doing the checking didn’t told us anything about the perks. For $800 night and expensive bar restaurant pool service (not enough transat, only 20) you can find better deal around. for valet service ——— for reception Average for restaurant staffs Great and friendly housekeeping

Such a stunning hotel, the rooms are beautiful and the landscaping is amazing! We had the best time relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Our dinner at Lucia was delish and the staff were all fabulous. We will be back again for another stay.

Had a lovely stay at Bernardus once again! Nice, cozy and accommodating rooms made a nice relaxing stay. We went to the spa one day and all the services were lovely. We also ate at the restaurant and bar and had some great meals. Overall, staff was friendly and we enjoyed our visit. Only small nit would be that during our stay there seemed to be quite a bit of younger children (4-6 year olds) and they were running around quite a bit during the morning & day. It didn't bother us but I did notice there was more noise as they were joyfully going about. Didn't recall this from our first stay but guess it just depends on when you are there.

We had a fabulous stay at Bernardus and will absolutely be back again! From the front desk to the cleaning staff, restaurant staff and bartender… everyone was lovely and accommodating. It was a rainy weekend and we still were able to enjoy the property and have a wonderful weekend.

Absolutely wonderful!! Especially the dining. The chef is talented and inventive -and provides his guests with a gourmet adventure at every meal. I loved every morsel. In fact I told our server that we had fallen in love with him! Iur stay was just perfect in every detail: the room was lovely. Our little patio was cosy. The hot tub glorious. The grounds beautifully landscaped. The Lodge was beyond perfect in every way. And, the staff, especially Kerry, who was one of our servers at dinner, could not have been nicer and more helpful-plus, he even laughed at our jokes.

Property is beautiful. My partner and I stayed in the luxury spa room, which is exactly as it is portrayed. Only feedback i would share is, resort knew we were only staying 1 night, and on 2 seperate occassions asked us what are our plans for the day of arrival - which we responded with heading to the Bernardus Winery. Only to arrive at the winery and it was closed. Rather disappointing consider we drove down from the north bay and only had a short stay. Would of appreciated a heads up so we could of made alternate plans.

Such a beautiful spot and a top not resort!!! I traveled with my family, including my 5 children and we all loved staying here. Our room was a beautiful Villa that was spacious and just perfect for us. The view was outstanding and the room was perfection!

Hotel was impeccable. Incredible staff and service. Our rooms were well appointed. No nickel and dining which I appreciate. Everything in room bar was complimentary. Even the valet parking was included. Now the resort fee was $60, but they were upfront about that so you can’t complain. My only complaint revolves around the restaurant. For the prices and the ambience, I expected a higher quality of food. It was good, but unimpressive in the menu and presentation. This is too bad, because the service was exemplary.

We stayed on the ground floor, the bed was not set up right, floor was slippery, my husband fell at night, he went to ER, the staff there not showing any concern, We were very disappointed and dissatisfied.

I have stayed here twice now. The first time I was nothing but impressed with the accommodation and facilities. This time the room seemed run down. One of the queen beds was pushed up against the wall so my daughter had to climb over me to get out of bed in the night. The spa plunge pool was cold (under repair) and the sauna was not working. Not what I expected for $1000 a night.

Staying at Bernardus is a special place. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The grounds are well taken care of and absolutely beautiful. The children’s garden is our favorite and our kids love planting seeds and seeing of the flowers come through at a later time. We stay here every year and plan on always coming back.

The room was lovely. Bed comfortable. TV not working but management compensated us for it & fixed the problem. Staff kind & responsible. Wonderful lodge. Music in lobby on Wednesday was so good we stayed for 3 sets. Great pizza in bar on Wednesday. All in all an expensive but worthwhile splurge.

Bernardus is such a lovely place to visit. The food, the spa, the beautifully decorated rooms with wine and snacks. This place is incredibly luxurious and left me contemplating my many future visits.
