Nice staff. Horrible hard bed. Musty old smell, needed to bring in our own room spray to mask it because it was so bad. Pool was teeny tiny. Card key kept deactivating, I had to get a new one three times in a two night stay. Very close to UWSP. My next visit, I'll go elsewhere. Not worth what I paid for two nights.

Comfortable beds, nice updated bathrooms and friendly staff. The pool area while clean, the water was pretty cloudy. The breakfast was well put together and the lady doing that was very nice. Nothing to write home about, very basic but ok if you don't mind that. We would stay again if back in Stevens point

We stayed in the handicapped accessible room for one night. Upon checking in the front desk clerk Amara was so super helpful and pleasant, she helped us with our luggage to the room and was so sweet to offer us some beverages she wasnt using. She gets 5 stars in our eyes! We took advantage of the pool and jacuzzi and that was wonderful. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable, The handicapped accessible room was very roomy and the rool in shower with the foldable bench was excellent. My only negative comment was some of the pillow cases smelled like body odor. We didnt get up in time to take advantage of the free breakfast but we were appreciative of the free coffee still available after breakfast was over. Over all this was an excellent stay and would definitely stay here again if in the area.

The hotel is in need of upgrades. Room smelled musty. Mattress was not comfortable. Bathtub very old, peeling paint in bathroom. Woke up to ants in the bathroom. Staff apologized when I reported it on the way out. This hotel was about $50/night more than other rooms in the area, so I was disappointed by the low quality. Staff were friendly but that doesn’t make up for the room.

I had a king suite. The couch and chair had so many stains on them and felt greasy, it made me not want to sit in them. The front desk lady was trying so hard to be helpful. She was clearly new and a bit overwhelmed with the big school group that checked in before me. The bed was comfy and sheets were clean. Again the drains on the carpet were really bad.

We were in town for a UWSP event and this hotel was a perfect location! Clean, safe, attentive staff, comfortable. We frequently stay at Country Inns and had just stayed at one in another state and that experience paled in comparison to this one. The breakfast at this location was immaculate, organized and very good (and I’m picky about breakfast). Will definitely stay at this location again!

Older hotel and needs some major updates. Linens were clean but visibly stained. Breakfast was adequate as was the stay but I don’t think we’ll return. Beds were not comfortable for us. Service was friendly especially at breakfast.

The property was close to where I needed to take care of my business so that was very convenient. The hot tub had sand in the bottom of it and the sidewalls were filthy with sludge and scum. It needs to be drained, cleaned, and renovated. The pillows were terrible. Some interest and investment needs to be put in to the pillows. For $110 per night I should have a good pillow on my bed. The comforter needs replacing as well. I may as well have just slept with a sheet. Not very comfortable.

It was a great choice for my family and I while we were attending my cousin’s wedding in Rapids. The room was spaces, clean, the location was near a highway, golf course as well as a walking trail. The staff was helpful and friendly. I appreciate the outdoor seatings. We would definitely stay here again.

We come here twice a year on our way to the U.P. We love the welcoming, helpful staff, the rooms, the walking trails nearby and the Hill Top restaurant! We can't praise The Country Inn and Suites in Stevens Point enough.

We stayed in a Country Inn and Suites in Mankato two weeks ago and the breakfast items wee served with ceramic bowls and plates and real silverware. We are disturbed that the Stevens Point location continues to use styrofoam and plastictic - SO BAD for the environment!

Breakfast was delicious and lots of options. Love the closeness to the interstate. Easy check-in and check-out. The only negative comment is that morning cleaning staff were so loud it woke us up. We were out so late due to an athletic tournament it would have been nice to have been able to sleep in before one more game and a 5.5 hour drive home. It was like they completely forgot people were sleeping at 8:30AM that they were basically yelling about what room checked out and why someone wanted to clean instead of sitting at the front desk. Lastly, I would definitely consider purchasing outlets on the lights for the nightstand. It’s been a long time since I’ve had to literally look for an outlet to charge devices. I ended up having to pull out the nightstand and disconnect the light. Would potentially stay again but the above mentioned was pretty inconvenient considering $211/ night.
