We have been to number of all inclusive hotels and this was the best one we have experienced. The food was excellent (all inclusive) and although the hotel was a little dated it was spotlessly clean. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. We weren’t there with smaller children, but there were fun activities laid in for them in one area of the pool. We were only there 5 days so didnt really do any exertions but there seemed a lot on offer - definitely enough to occupy you for 2 weeks. Sunbed reserving (have to have the towels placed by 8am!) a little annoying but that really was the only minor thing.

Beautiful property, very nice garden and pool area, comfy sun benches, friendly personnel.
What I did not like is that the room was not really soundproof, we could really hear the tv from the room next door and the people upstairs walking around and pulling chairs, etc.. The bathroom door is just a thin glass door with a min. 1 cm gap from the doorframe and there is no way to close it properly, in our case was not an issue but maybe fresh couples would find it uncomfortable. When making a reservation, I asked for a quiet room on an upper floor if possible and have 2 separate duvets instead of 1 big duvet as we tend to pull it from the other in our sleep, but we still got 1 big duvet (we thought we give it a try but did not work out), room was on the ground floor. There were 3 sets of curtains on the window but still not enough to block the light, the thickest one was definitely not a blackout curtain, luckily I had my sleeping mask with me. The tv had a very poor selection of channels, hardly anything, could not log in to Netflix, no possibility for other streaming like Amazon, etc.., luckily ITV2 had Family Guy on. Overall a nice stay but the mentioned things would need improvement to meet the indicated stars of this accommodation.

Great staff. Lovely buildings and rooms. Full entertainment programme. Excellent breakfast

Stayed first week of May with my wife and 2 kids under 6 years of age.
Booked and highly recommend the double garden rooms with inter-connecting doors so adults in one room and kids in 2single beds across the divide.
Hotel is gorgeous from the minute you enter and all Staff were excellent all thru the week. Great varieties of food at breakfast each morning. Everything from hot to cold food across 5 different breakfast stations. You will always find something to eat for the kids each morning.
Plenty of seats around the 4 pools on site, no need to be rushing down in the morning to reserve seats. Towels provided by pool staff are fresh, big and fluffy each day you go to the pool. Nice selection of pool drinks and can order food also to your seat as you chill by the water.
The hotel has a separate kids pool also which is an added benefit to keep them occupied for a few hours although it is not very big but still adequate, especially for very young kids.
The great benefit I feel to this hotel is that it is just walking distance to some lovely beaches and the main social scene of Adeje.
You can engage in all that Adeje has to offer but retire to the tranquility of the hotel afterwards without much travel time.
Hotel entertainment provided almost every night as well.
Highly recommend this hotel for a family stay, even with kids very young to older age groups.
15/20 minute drive from Tenerife South airport makes it an appealing destination also.

Great location. A large selection of breakfast dishes, including a selection of gluten-free dishes.

Hotel in great position on beach with access to promenade and walking distance from bars/restaurant. Lovely staff/service but food poor and over priced. Corridors shabby and carpet needs removing some areas bit tired. Location makes up for that.

Amazing hotel, we stayed all inclusive and the food and drinks were excellent!

One disappointment - The Portofino restaurant. The food looked pre-pared and was unacceprable...

This is a gorgeous hotel which is very well maintained, with a fabulous seafront location. What really stands out though is the staff. They are all really friendly and courteous and nothing is too much trouble for them. From the housekeeping staff, reception, restaurant and bar staff, everyone was so welcoming. They all appeared happy in their work! The rooms were spacious, we had an interconnecting room which was ideal for travel with 2 teenagers. Evening entertainment was excellent. There were always pool beds available, even on busy days. The main pool is seawater so it is cold but we managed to use it . We were all inclusive. The food in the buffet restaurant was excellent and varied. If I had one ‘complaint’ about this hotel, it would be that it is absolutely huge and very spread out, with long walking to get anywhere within the hotel. The elderly or infirm may therefore struggle

Beautiful hotel with every thing that we needed to enjoy our holiday. Lovely pools, one heated, comfortable deck beds and towels provided. Our room a duplex was large with sunny balconies, very comfortable seating areas. bed was a little too firm for me so a topper was provided, slept very well, quiet rooms. All staff were so helpful and friendly. We stayed half board, break fast had a great choice and evening meal the same,so many delicious options to choose from. We would definitely stay again at an Iberostar hotel. Thank you for making our holiday so special.

The Anthelia is an excellent hotel and we have been there several times. It never fails to impress in all aspects.
It is in an ideal location and our room overlooking the gardens was lovely.
As always the staff were very attentive and Sara in the lobby bar always had a smile and made you feel special.
We will definitely be returning again.

Really lovely hotel in great location. Well spread out meaning it always felt quiet even although it was full.
Very comfortable although rooms were probably not 5 star. Grounds and pools made up.for this though.
Staff were great although some of the reception staff could have been a bit warmer.
Overall a great hotel and we would definitely go back.

We had a fantastic stay and couldn’t recommend it more. Our room was incredible, ocean front view, multiple levels with three outdoor areas and a jacuzzi. It was phenomenal. Breakfast is ok, with made to order omelets and host of sweet carbs to choose from. I liked that they had multiple types of milk to choose from for those with different preferences.
The location is sublime. Walking distance from everything you’d ever want to do, beautiful views, close to all the bars and restaurants. Lots of shops around. Was really fantastic. Great staff, super nice, helpful, engaging, multi-lingual, oh and as a bonus this place has an awesome gym. As a frequent traveler, I never know what I’ll find. Didn’t miss a day here. Lots of hills around for running and the gym itself has free weights and I’m talking, a squat rack In addition to dumbbells. Can’t beat it.

Hotel is fantastic and brilliant that there are plenty of free water fillers in the hotel but was surprised to be charged €3 for a water at the pool bar, despite also that sometimes free drinks are handed out. So seemed inconsistent. Free yoga classes and aqua aerobics great. Gymn is adequate although a little small and could get busy at peak times.

We loved everything, but the food was amazing.

Terrific staff and great facilities.

This is a lovely hotel which is set in large grounds in a very nice area. Our room was spacious and had a lovely sea view. The pools are excellent as is the quality of the food. The things which let the hotel down for us were the lack of air conditioning in the gym and the ambiance of the buffet restaurant, which really could do with improved lighting and redecorating.
2.0
While the rooms were remodeled, the hotel needs an overhaul. Still feels very dated. Not old world or antique, just old. The food was poor, the room never cooled, there was a roach in the room and smashed bugs on the walls. The staff in the gift shop was excellent and Housekeeping very kind, check in was great. Yet this hotel outside of being close to the beach wasnt worth the cost. Better options in the area. I will never ever return.

Two main things which let this hotel down.
1. It is mandatory for gentlemen to wear trousers for dinner which is fine BUT please let us know PRIOR!!!!! to arrival. I enjoy good standards in the evening also and had smart shorts and shirts but was wrong footed by the long trouser policy.
2. I picked up an ear infection from the swimming pool and had to go to the Dr's to get some anti biotic drops.

Everything is great in this place! We had vey early departure and has been offered absolutely gorgeous breakfast at 4 AM delivered to the room. Very pleasant stay. Would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this property and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. The location is central to a host of dining and shopping options all within walking distance. The staff was wonderful. Upon checking in, my husband mentioned it was his birthday. An hour later, room service delivered a chocolate birthday cake to our room! A great kickoff to a memorable vacation.

Cannot fault one thing. Will go for longer next time. Gorgeous location, unbelievable views, food and drink fresh and delicious😎

Excellent facilities. Friendly Staff. Very clean

So good! It was everything we expected and more! The staff is friendly and helpful, perfect location and great facilities. We loved the food at the buffet (breakfast, lunch and dinner): endless choices, great variety, fresh and delicious. Local and international cuisine. We've traveled all over the world, and this buffet is definitely on my top 3.
My 3 year old daughter had the time of her life in the kids pool and participating in the activities for children led by the AMAZING entertainment team (StarCamp and evening Minidisco and shows). I can't wait to go back.

Cannot give enough high praises about our stay at Iberostar. We only had the pleasure of a long weekend at the property which was far too short. The hotel had so much to offer including the various types of pools to the food and drink options! The all inclusive was a great option, never had to wonder or give a think about what to eat as they had literally everything for everyone.
The staff was so warm and welcoming and the drinks were delightful. We loved spending the evenings enjoying the entertainment that had everything from DJs, to singers even gymnasts!
Also the spa was a wonderful escape and so peaceful. Only compliant is we didn’t have enough time but can’t wait to go back!

The hotel is great and staff always helpful and friendly. We have been several times over the last 18 months but so far the VIP upgrades have not been offered. While it is not possible to be certain on our most recent visit the hotel did not seem full. However while it would be nice to be offered the upgrades it is a good hotel and hopefully we will visit again later in the year

This is such a lovely hotel - the staff were incredibly helpful and efficient, the property itself is set in lovely grounds, the room was immaculately clean and spacious... It was the perfect place to relax in the sun with toddler. Family-friendly but in a subtle and understated way.
