Hotel is old and service is limited in time up to 10 pm . But staff is friendly
1.0
Terrible food the room really needs a lot of improvement they control the bottle water 2 small bottles per person per day on a very hot an humid environment. I pay more to have a junior suite a the jacuzzi on the balcony was completely neglected and no water on it. This is max a 2 start hotel
2.5
Location and service was the hole 9 yards

The vibe all around the premises is just breathtaking and takes one to a very tranquil private world!
2.0
I got food poisoning they were going to charge me $100 dollar just to recommend me to a doctor, I had to seek help outside the hotel.
Also it was all inclusive, but the room only had 2 beers if I needed more I would have to pay $130 pesos each time I order room service! Never will I go back to that place
3.0
They need to hire staff and like a lot! We waited to gain entry to our room for almost an hour, and our room was not cleaned every day we had to keep asking for fresh towels and such. Depending on what building you stay in, you could be staying in the updated super nice area closest to the beach area or you could be in the old building which is super far and inconvenient. The buffet is not something that you want to eat everyday.

I felt like I was in a mini Jurassic Park. The iguanas were beautiful to see until they started jumping up in the laps of guest while eating..

The property was absolutely amazing. My wife and I enjoyed the view of the ocean and seeing all the iguanas on the property

This resort, even though advertised as an all inclusive, is NOT a true all inclusive resort. We stayed here as a big family group of 20 people celebrating a family occasion July 2024, and are very disappointed with the quality of service as well as quality of dining options and menu. Here are the issues we encountered at this resort:
-to eat at the buffet you need to line up, provide your last name and room number and then wait to be seated.Sitting area in the buffet is limited and menu was the same daily. We chose to eat off resort 2 times as it just was not worth our time
-no snack bar is available by the pool area. To get snacks like burgers, nachos and fries, you have to go to the restaurant and repeat the same process it takes to enter the buffet. You then are seated and order off a menu. This is extremely inconvenient as you need to be dry to enter and you waste time waiting in getting changed as well as waiting for a waiter.Eating things like ice cream is not possible by the pool because it's an ordeal to go fetch one from the restaurant
-waiters by the poolside were limited and we often had go and grab drinks ourselves.you are also limited to 4 drinks per order and shots are not allowed
-very limited nighttime entertainment
-two nights the barman told us they ran out of glasses so they could not serve drinks
-the manager Alejandro Arteaga was very unapproachable and refused to speak with us when we sought assistance. Very disappointing. we WILL NOT BE RETURNING.

Service was excellent. Everyone speaks english or tries to. All staff are pleasant to deal with. Pools are always clean and plenty of space to relax.

Place looks nothing like the pictures. It’s a very old hotel and not updated. Half of the hotel is for residents who live there and you can only use half of the hotel. Food was terrible and you must reserve for all restaurants the day you arrive or they won’t let you reserve on any other day of your stay. When I checked in they gave me the keys and when I got to my room the bed was not done nor did the pillows have covers. Hairs were everywhere in the shower floor, room floor , and bathroom. I went with a group of four and the rooms they got were also dirty. We let the lobby attendant know and he sent someone to clean it but gave us attitude and asked what did we want them to do about our complain. It had not been more then 20 min since we got the room and already so many red flags. The elevators were very old and would break every day and had no ac. They only have 2 elevators in the hotel for everyone so we used the stairs for the most part and I was on the 7th floor so everyday was a workout. We ate once at the hotel because only one day was open for reservations. So we had to eat out every day which defeats the purpose of all inclusive. Bartender was extremely rude and would ignore guest who ordered drinks he didn’t want to do which was basically any cocktail. He would only give beers or rum punch unless you tipped him prior to getting your drink. I don’t recommend this place at all.

In general the is reasonable, I just don't like the dinner reservations, take long time to make reservation, also it's very hard to find or talk to the general manager.

We spent our XXV anniversary at this hotel. The staff treated us in the most special way! Plus, facilities, environment and food were high-quality.

We arrived at 11:20am and were not allowed for free drinks or access to the facility until 1pm. Then after that we need to wait until 3pm in order to get our room. The correct thing to do and will recommend is for them to offer early check in with a fee. This could’ve made my experience better. Also they offer all their inclusive and not let you know that their is different colors to access different types of tequilas

Where do I start:
1. Limited parking
2. Extra charges
3. No good food. We were unable to get reservations at any of the restaurants.
4. Staff was rude
5. Phone didn’t work
6. Jacuzzi knob broke and they never came to fix it.
7. Waited 1 hour to check out
8. Drinks had no alcohol
9. Only 1 working elevator. Had to use the stairs in order to avoid waiting 20 minutes for the elevator
10. Towels were dirty
I can’t say 1 positive thing about this hotel. My 1st time coming to Vallarta and definitely my last. I will stick to Mazatlán where the hotel and staff are much better rated. I called to make a customer complaint to corporate the call kept getting conveniently disconnected,

The food was not great. The staff seemed like we were an inconvenience.
2.0
The service was horrible even though they had a lot of staff the service to the costumers was horrible
They would take for ever to come around the pool area
They would get upset when we would ask for service
NOT A GREAT EXPERIENCE AT ALL

Be aware pictures look great on websites but when we receive our room paint is chipping off walls You can see theres a los of water damage. Customer service none. Most of the staff was annoyed serving us they are understaffed and you can tell. Starting in the morning waking up to get our coffee the lady at the coffee shop was rude no greeting and with an attitude. We also made reservations for dinner at Brasas and service was the worst throughout our dinner they only served us 1 drink never came back to check if we needed anything else. We were there for almost 2 hours and they took our order at the start.
Another thing they charged us $120 extra to be able to get our bracelets and to be able to use there facilities before we received our room.

Awful place, service bad, and that’s we stay in the president suite, can’t imagine what other rooms look like , towels were bad the bed was hard the curtains were falling apart, ask them to change the towels and drinks from the fridge said couldn’t help. Suck up cause it was my wife first time in Mexico woke up in the morning and came to find a cockroach in bathroom pick up my bags and went to lobby and said I want my money back this place is not what u sell if for.. said they couldn’t do that. Cause I got through Expedia Reservation. I understand if I got a cheap hotel what u get for but for this place wow not what u want stay away..

Really nice place to stay for our family vacation. The food was good, especially the Italien restaurant, and the service was great. Would definitely go back there.
4.0
The good - room was nice and spacious, staff was respectful and friendly
The bad - toilet water pressure very low, hardly any hot water
The ugly - except for breakfast, food was mediocre. Also, they don’t let you take food out of the restaurant or buffet and if you order room service, it takes a long long time.
2.5
The good: We had a great time. Service is the best, everyone was friendly and helpful. Room was nice, we booked the junior suite w sea view, had a jacuzzi on the balcony, and the maid came every day leaving everything spotless.
All restaurants are great. We tried the mediterranean, the sushi, and the mexican place, (do reservations for dinner so u don’t have to wait). The buffet was nice and big, lots of options and everything we tried was delicious. Our floor also had an area with snacks, fruits, cheeses and cold meats, also some alcoholic beverages, not all the floors get it tho, depends on the package you get. We got a discounted upgrade to the gold wristband.
The pools were cleaned every single day, also the beach is really nice, there’s free loungers and also the option to rent a balinese bed for the day, which we did, I do recommend!
We did the spa twice, one for couples massage, and the second one for pedicures, both packages get you an hour in the hydrotherapy circuit. Only the steam room was under renovations and some of the jets in the pool weren’t working but everything else was fantastic. The massages were wonderful.
The bad: The indoors tub overflow was leaking, but they fixed it the same day while we were out. Room service, the night we arrived, it took foreeeever to deliver due to an issue with the kitchen, and when it did it was inedible, I wouldn’t count on night room service at least.
Overall: We might come back, it was a very nice and relaxing stay.

We absolutely loved our stay here, the staff from arrival to departure were friendly, courteous, and helpful. There was ample entertainment, iguanas walking around, music, playing, friendly interactive staff , plenty of food, and right on the ocean. The 24-hour gym was convenient, well stocked , and the spa was very clean, comfortable, and came highly recommended. Definitely agree! Oralia was a wonderful masseuse! Although this is our first time here, it was recommended, and we agree that it's better than a couple that we've been to and even paid more for. You won't be disappointed. Rob

Please don’t stay at this resort . Food is awful. Rooms are old, towels are so old. All inclusive is not the case . Top self liquors have an extra fee. They use the cheapest liquor for drinks. There’s no hot water out of the showers. Horrible!!! Don’t book here !
