This was an excellent hotel for our visit a bit of a walk into the centre. Make sure you book parking before hand we thought it was included but they had no space so had to park on the road, but it was safe. Have to make a comment about the breakfast as it was amazing. Having traveled around Europe for the past two week this by far the best. All freshly made and presented amazingly. Would definitely recommend

Second time I've stayed here. Rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. My favorite part though is the neighborhood, very quiet but everything is readily available (free parking, bars, bus stop etc).
Although there are more famous (and expensive) options near Piazza Unità, I prefer to stay at Corderie.

The hotel is advertised as a 4 stars, it has the potential of being one... the rooms are very nice and so was the bathroom however some details... The toilet seat was yellow and grim, the plastic around the shower was loose and folded, the bottom of the door in the bathroom was also moulded. there was a hole in the ceiling of the bathroom too. Breakfast was great and staff is very friendly. A nice hotel that with those details taken care of would be great!

The staff was polite, the room spacious enough, the toilet was spacious and good as well. A serious drawback is the lack of acceptable internet connection in the room (and its not much better in the lobby). Another issue is the breakfast which leaves much to be desired, the waitress/cook offered no coffee nor frying of eggs upon taking the table and intentionally tried to avoid customers so they wouldn't ask anything of her even though the hotel advertises these services.

While not as central as some hotels, a ten minute trip on the 15/16 bus route gets you right into the center. A great place to stay!

Trieste is well worth seeing a bit off the tourist trail but better for that. Lots of historical interest, fine varied architecture, central piazza, sea front harbour , period cafes, Cathedral & many churches - catholic, orthodox, and a synagogue. places to eat. Miramare Castle worth a visit and by local cheap bus service. Trips to Slovenia & Croatia are available. Travel from airport to Trieste Centre expensive by taxi (60 Euros) , but regular bus only 6 Euros! Trieste can be very windy at times - first 2 days there was a strong gusting cool wind the 'Bora' which can knock you off your feet, although it was clear, warm & sunny and still for the next 2 days.

The hotel is new and the staff very helpful with support, directions, etc. The only bad part is the hotel has not been maintained very well. The room fridge was removed due to it not working, the TV had troubles, the toilet ran at times, and one cabinet door fell off. It was Italy, so it is all overlooked.

This is a great, out of the way place in Trieste. The staff are very friendly to make up for the location not being in the centre of the action. That being said, Trieste is very walkable and we walked to town a couple of times a day with no problems.

First of all the staff was excellent. Especially when compared to the general population of Trieste. The breakfast was good and the staff attentive at breakfast.
Location. It's in a quiet area, not much of a view. We got into a routine of walking into the downtown core in the mornings. It's about a 30 minute walk to the main squares by the ocean. 80% of it downhill. We took cab's back as there is some significant hills to overcome walking.
From the MapQuest view it would seem the hotel is close to beaches but this is not the case. This is not a beach city. It's a seaport and gateway hub to Slovenia, Austria and Germany.
This is a boutique hotel in a residential area in a city that's not really touristy.

Nice boutique style hotel located in residential area about 5min on bus from the city centre; if you like staying away from typical tourists places then go for it; there are 2 buses from the main station which take you to the hotel 8 and 30; the bus stop is a short walk about 3 min but be aware that you need to climb the stairs; hotel staff really nice and helpful especially Spanish speaking lady on reception; very nice breakfast, cold buffet style; wide choice of cakes. I did enjoy my stay. One thing i was missing in a room was a tea and coffee making facilities.

The hotel itself was fine, but it's location wasn't ideal. I was expecting it to be a little out of the main town, but was not expecting the very steep hill which you had to go up/down on the recommended route to get to any restaurants/bars/sights.

Absolutely loved this apt. So clean, spacious, and unique. Manager was amazing and so helpful. He helped us buy bus tickets, showed us how to use the washer/dryer, made recommendations for restaurants, told us how to use local transportation, etc. Apt. windows open onto park and the unit is very light. Bed is very comfortable with high quality linens. Bathroom is very large and modern. Great shower. Bus stop just across the street and takes 30 seconds to get there. Loved the free and secure parking. Also since it's a no smoking building, there is no stale odor. Very tastefully decorated.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. This is quite a small hotel (15 rooms) so quite nice. The hotel is not exactly central so there was about a 10-15 minute walk into the centre of Trieste, but we did know about this before we booked .We decided to book the hotel as the reviews we very good. I have to say that the staff were really friendly and helpful. There have been lots of comments about the breakfast being fantastic, but I have to say this consisted of quite a lot of fruit, pastries, cake,cold meats , cheeses and frittata . We did have an issue with the air conditioning in our room as we were advised to leave it on while we were out, but one night in started leaking so we had to turn it off. We mentioned this to the hotel and they looked at if straight away. If you dont mind being out of the centre of Trieste I would recommend Le Corderie if you like a smaller hotel with a bit more of a personal touch. Even the hotel cat Corda was friendly!

The hotel caught us by surprise by the comfort,friendlyness,excellent location ( you can reach the fort and the central places within max 15' walk). There is a wonderful outsite space for breakfast as well as for leisure when coming home after a long day full of impressions. The breakfeast is one of the best I ever had: presented for the eye to start a wonderful day. You can park your car in the garage or will find a parking place outsite.The photos in the internet really reflect reality; A wounderful place to come back.
