The night woman was rude and because I was English and did not speak French she was rude and not at all friendly.we had no hot water to shower after 10 hours driving and she told my daughter “ not my problem”. In the morning we talked to the desk lady who was sweet and so easy to talk with. She was shocked about the night clerk. The day lady gave us instructions to the highway and #30hwy which was so helpful.the rooms are old and should be remodeled , my daughter had to get the toilet to flush with a bottle of water. The curtains were broken and would not close all the way without pinning. There was bird poop on our door step and it was hard and stuck on. I would never stay there again. One more thing, must be a Quebecthing, they charge you a “Tip” on your bill and I found the additions on the bill way too much for such a very poor quality room. Never again.

The bed sheets - bottom sheet was not near the bottom of the bed. The seams were uncomfortable for me feet.

Bed was comfortable and pillow selection was great! Staff were bilingual and friendly. Floors and walls in room just needed a more thorough cleaning, but not a problem if you are one to keep your shoes on. All other surfaces were clean. Continental breakfast was also really good. I would book there again.

The hotel was ok, it was quiet and suited our needs. Some areas needed a wipe down, headboard and walls etc. Breakfast was just toast, cereal etc. No juice or baked goods. Curtains not black out, paint peeling on walls and door frame etc. musty/cigarette/weed smell inside since the window was open when we arrived

The lady at the counter was amazing and so friendly. Theroom was clean but the floor felt like it had a film on it like sticky. The breakfast was nothing special but for the price of the stay noone can complain

This is well worth the trip to Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia. It's right on the Sunrise trail and there are many areas of interest within a few miles (kilometers, actually). I discovered it several years ago and have returned each summer since and have never been disappointed.

Hotel was very dirty. Floor mat and floor were black with dirt. Ac did work. Bed was so dirty and bedding had a very bad odour. Overall it was a really bad experience.

bunch of hair between the sheets end the blanket, shower curtain all soaked and wet. Only freezer was working so food was frozen or warm. Worse part is our keys didn't work. We were there for 3 days and we had to go to the office and wait for them to find someone who can open it. When I asked for ice, the lady made a face. I asked if it was a problem and she told me that they were selling some at the corner store

Room had overwhelming smell of smoke, thick layer of brown dust/grime on top of air conditioning unit made room smell worse when turned on. Linens smelled like body odour and one sheet had a visible stain close to pillows . We did not stay….booked a room at another motel further down the street. Very disappointed, want to get refund.

Dirty, dated, sink dripping, bath rusty and dirty, no soap/shampoo, A/C leaking everywhere, front desk person rude and unwilling to find solution with anything saying it’s not her problem and she can’t do anything to accommodate. No cleaning done if you reserve for more than one night, curtains ripped off the rail. The only positive point is the friendly staff at the bar.

Bit run down and we didn’t feel safe at this location as there appears to be people staying there permanently who are up all night and down on their luck so to say. There were cars coming and going all night with young people entering and leaving a room next to us.

Conveniently located just off the highway. Easy check-in. Dog friendly. Spotlessly clean. Big room. Great shower/spacious bathroom facilities. Comfortable bed. Good Wifi. Breakfast was okay. Motel and property look tired and not too appealing to drive up to. No outside garbage can for disposing of waste from pet. Room needs more lights.

Lady at the front desk was very courteous and explained in great details about all aspects of the room and facilities during check in. Room was clean. TV didn’t work which was no big deal. Soundproofing to the outside was lacking.

Room required some usual maintainance. Window needed a locking unit installed as the original was missing, so window could be opened from the outside. One of the two headboard lights was broken, partly missing, and not working. The forced air heating/cooling unit appeared to need some cleaning and possibly a change of filter would be a good idea. Floors needed a cleaning, ie wet or damp mopping was required. Obviously management is not inspecting what their workers are doing. Just a general lack of concern.

The lady at the desk is lovely. The rooms are pretty clean. My door safety lock was broken and I had to wipe a spill and the cloth was very dirty from cleaning a water spot on the floor. They are pet friendly and for the price I would definitely stay there again. If you want very quiet I’d say book top floor. Last time I was top floor but prefer the bottom as lots of stuff to carry in. This time I was bottom floor. I could definitely hear upstairs so if your a light sleeper as I am, maybe book a room upstairs. Beds… I’m all about beds… the bed was a little firm for me but it’s only a night :)

Bed not really comfortable, very old and noisy, no sense of privacy. Everything can be heard through the walls and Floor. Not too Clean to be honest, there was a Floor mat in the entrance more dirty impossible. Lights in the hotel to dark inside and not uniform at all. Cheap Hotel. Pictures are outdated. Well that was cheap. Owner of the hotel made a comment once I got there that I really did not feel that room would be my home for almost a week. Also that place has monthly renters. I wouldn't stay there again... I do regrate not staying at the other hotel across the street. Cheap Hotel, but do not believe what you on the pictures

Check in was fast and easy. Room is fair size. Bed is okay. Linens were old. Bathroom was really small. The shower was somewhat broken. The sink has molds growing in it. In the room you can hear people talking above and outside. I like that there was no carpet.
