Traumhaft! Ich komme wieder!

Es war okey aber wenn ich das Hotel vergleiche mit dem Alpengold in Davos. Kann das Waldhotel meiner Meinung nach nicht

95% Prozent der Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es ist wie überall, dass es Mitarbeiter gibt, welche „keins Lust“ ausstrahlen. Was bis zu einem gewissen Punkt okey ist, da wir nur Menschen sind. ( und keine Roboter) Das Zimmer meines Bruders war viel schöner + grösser als meins.

Das Hotel war eher „altgebacken“ Viel Teppich und ist eher für ältere Kundschaft (Ü60) Es kann auch sein, dass ich hier heikel bin aber ich fand es nicht gut, dass ich in meinem Bad eine klassische weisse Badewanne hatte. Ich bevorzuge moderne Regenduschen. Zudem hatte ich kein Ausblick nach Aussen. Aber das war mein Fehler beim buchen. Das Zmorgenbuffet war okey. Abendessen stimmte für mich Preis Leistung nicht. Zudem sehr wenig Auswahl. Das Spa war ok. Gewisse Mitarbeiter konnten nicht sehr gut deutsch ( nich rassistisch gmeint) aber um Missverständnisse zu vermeiden, ist es jeweils nicht optimal.

Good hotel with great facilities and helpful personnel

Extremely friendly and helpful personnel, good breakfast and food as well as nice spa. The transport service was a great plus to/from hotel and ski/train stations. Our friends had a room with a view and balcony, seemeed worth the extra price 👍

Bathroom doors were a bit off hinges in our room.

Simply excellent. A very high class hotel

The breakfast was excellent, personal attention from the chef. The location is far from the city center and requires the hotel's shuttle which is not always available and not everywhere.

The availability of the hotel shuttle and access to all parts of the city. We ate at a restaurant at the other end of town and it was not possible to use the hotel shuttle

Lovely views of the Mountain

Service staff - especially dining staff were wonderful - went above and beyond. The reception staff were polite, friendly and did always tried their hardest to make the experience lovely. The room view was stunning Beds were comfortable. Rooms did not have minibar or tea/coffee facilities but you could request and if available they will put one in your room. We were lucky they did. Safe location Rooms were clean - balcony was dirty with smokers - ash and dirt on lounge chairs so did not use

The location is atleast a 20 minutes walk from the station - you can catch the bus - this drops you off at the bottom of the hill. It is a STEEP incline to the hotel from then on. Takes less than 10 miutes - going down - only about 7 minutes -but I doubt this is pleasant for most people having to do this daily in the rain and cold, or worse in winter! I had to rush to other destinations - quite a few that stayed in the hotel drove. If reception has extra staff they can drop you at the station - this we got to use only three times in our one week stay - all other times there was no one to take you. Its just by design. The walk was good exercise BUT not suitable when I had to run with my luggage to the station at 6.30am! Or when it was pouring and they loan you an umbrella with 55Francs deposit. Spa massage was average but cost a lot - staff very lovely Breakfast was continental only - cereal, bread and fresh fruits were the only options for vegetarians.

Nice hotel; nice facilities (spa, pool, massage). Clean, good price and good location.

Nothing negative really but t doesn’t have a « homey » feel and lacks a bit of charm to our opinion.

A tranquil Davos hotel true to its roots; as comfy as your favorite holiday sweater and as relaxing as long summer night

clean, well run, relaxing. staff was kind and very attentive. wellness spa facilities were awesome. Claudia is magic! we recommend her with high regards.

loud due to construction at an adjacent building that went from 7am to 6pm. no coffee option at evening hallway tables. dirty cups and old fruit left for longer than a day made it seem untidy.

Perfect, full stop :)

The view! The location! The friendly professional super amazing receptionist and all the staff. Amazing tasty fabulous breakfast. Super comfortable great rooms. The spa!!!! Was truly amazing. It was one of my most memorable stays - the flexibility and accommodation from the staff was truly amazing - I went for a conference and I was able to use the pool and facilities around my tight schedule, which meant so much after long and tiring days, thank you Team Waldhotel!!!! I am looking forward to staying with you again in the future!!!!

Great location - always again!

Amazing view over Davos from balcony, even more spacious room on top floor thanks to the upgrade (thank you again!). Friendly staff and good variety for breakfast. For me the quieter location feels immediately relaxing, only a short steeper walk up from high street and directly on high promenade which makes for lovely walk.

We thought the feature see-through glass wall in the bathroom was a bit odd (and due to the bed in front there is no view from the bathtub either), but that may be down to personal taste. Otherwise the bathroom is spacious and has everything one needs.
