Was not impressed at all. AC in room did not work. Very hot and stuffy. Couldn't open the window due to the mosquitos. No shower curtain in bathroom...so bathroom got soaked while taking shower. Only there for one night thank goodness. And to add, was told at check-in we could decide in the morning if we wanted to purchase breakfast. Morning came and we decided to eat breakfast but was turned away since we didn't reserve it the night before. What?!? Won't be staying there again.

Old hotel, our room was smelling like cigarette (despite asking for a non-smoking room). When we arrived, the door and windows were open, maybe they were trying to ventilate the room??, but it was not safety at all! Not to mention that there was a balcony and it was super dirty, full on dead trees and construction materials.

I saw the average rating of 3.5 which is generous in my mind. The hotel is on the edge of a bad neighborhood and the room was tiny with the two neds pished together to make one which i didnt want, pillows very low quality and not enoigh for comfort and finally, dirty shower curtain with mildew growing on it.

mixed bag but overall o.k. for what we were looking. start wasnt great. arrived in the morning and whilst didn't expect to be able to check in thought i would be able to leave our two small sports bags. however first hotel I've stayed in with no luggage room. thankfully we had a car so were able to leave in the boot which was not ideal but other options were to lug about with until 2pm, we arrived just after 10am, our to do a the hotel suggested and pay down the street for someone who you have no connection with to keep them. no thanks and already spent on the hotel. Other downside was i was told parking on site at €15 was possible, however there was no space and as a result i ended up having to pay €50 at q park, again not a cost i was expecting. Perhaps there would have been age 2pm at check in time but staff did not advise and one didn't want the day bars around having to go back and move the car. The hotel was grand, rooms and overall hotel it seemed very clean. bed was comfortable. located right beside Joillette metro or 20 min walk to the port so well placed to discover marsaille.

This hotel is in a perfect place. It’s by the subway and the buses as well as a very nice mall, and a lot of food selections.

The hotel was very dirty throughout the building and rooms. Our room also smelt of stale cigarettes. I would never stay here again.

Very nice hotel. Modern & clean. Helpful & accommodating staff. We were a few hours early but they let us check in with no extra cost. Metro opposite & buses & trams 5 minutes walk away in La Joliette square. 15 minute walk to various tourist places & the bay.

The shower curtain had stains and looked dirty, there were little flies and/or mosquitoes flying around, had little ants were in the bathroom and I couldn’t leave a soda can open because ants would get to it.

The hotel = service is welcoming and very helpful, rooms and surrounding area are great - calm, safe, great public transport option, nice restaurants and shopping options close by. The bathroom and shower curtain are a bit dated but still great value for the price. I would stay again :-)

Location was good. Price was good. We had to wait at least 10 minutes before the front desk staff came to the desk. The lady that was cleaning the kitchen floor and worked in the breakfast area really couldn’t care less about customers. When we did see someone at reception they were friendly and helpful. This was the smallest bare bones hotel I have ever stayed in. Not even a bar of soap in the bathroom. Our room was in the back of the hotel and was quite noisy from the local residents.

Excellent staff very friendly and helpful but rooms had no basic facilities like kettle or fridge and ensuite shower room had no shower curtain so room was soaked everytime. Breakfast was very limited no cereal or fruit and only bit of eggs and bacon could do alot better when u consider it's not a complimentary breakfast but a paid breakfast. Staff are the redeeming part of this hotel I doubt I will stay here again

The hotel front desk let us have a room before the 3pm check-in time, and held our bags for us after check-in. The AC in the room was great, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathrooms are what needs work - it was dingy, had weird stains on the walls and door handle, and there was no door or curtain for the shower - so water got everywhere. No toiletries were provided. Otherwise a decent stay for the price!

Sufficient for a quick stay but lacking basic amenities such as a minibar and safe in the room as well as soap for the bathroom sink (you have to use the shower gel). Within walking distance of the port, local shops, restaurants and a shopping centre. About a 20 minute walk to the old port and about the same to the train station.

Good basic hotel, clean and comfortable rooms. Staff helpful, friendly and welcoming. Area ideal for getting around the city on foot and using the excellent public transport systems. Got 10x our money's worth by purchasing the 72 hour travel card which covered the bus to and from Cassis!

We stayed for 6 days. It was really nice experience the hotel is nice really clean and the A.C. and the free WiFi are definitely great pluses. The staff is so friendly and so helpful. We loved them.We loved the location is really central and there is a great shipping centre just down the road. The old port is quite close too there transport links are very close and easily approachble. It was a great experience and we shall be back !

I didn't book breakfast, but ended up taking it at the hotel every day - it's a well priced continental buffet. If you're a light sleeper ask for a room not on the street side - a nearby cafe/pub is a little noisy. You can walk into centre Marseille easily - either into Vieux Port directly along the Rue de la Republique, or along the water past the Cathedrale la Major and museums. There is a shopping mall and loads of cafes and restaurants near the hotel.

I had dizziness, I could not sleep too low, I went to the reception, asked for another pillow, the receptionist told me that I had to come back to see a housekeeper, I did 2 times, the housekeeper was still absented, I was already late, I was very sleepy after a long trip, so I piled my clothes to make a pillow... But 7 euro breakfast is worth it. The price of the hotel room is reasonable.
