Sensacional para o meu objetivo!

A localização do hotel é excelente, fica no meio da praia de Copacabana permitindo acesso fácil e por caminhada do Leme ao Forte! Os funcionários todos muito educados e cortês, em especial o Pitanga, simpatia pura!

um detalhe, na saída do ar condicionado que estava com um pouco de poeira acumulada

En el desayuno, la persona que nos atendía, quien nos manofestó que se llama Jorge, nos trató de manera totalmente irrespetuosa, acusándonos de querer llevarnos un par se saquitos de te, los cuales estaban sobre lka mesa, a la espera de que llegaran algunos de nuestro grupo de 10 personas. En la recepción, el Sr. Marcos, todo un caballero, nos cambiaba el dolar a 4,50 y Marcelo, quien nos quiso estafar, a 4,20 en el mismo momento, atentando en contra del p´restigio del Hotel.

El trato de Jorge en el desayuno y la actitud usurera de Marcelo de recepción.

Hotel bonito e bem localizado, com muita qualidade no atendimento aos hóspedes

Localização incrível, café de manhã muito bom, e o tratamento dos funcionários com os hóspedes também é excelente - do recepcionista ao pessoal da faxina, todos são muito prestativos. A arquitetura do prédio é linda, e os quartos são simples e bonitos dentro da estética mais antiga que o prédio tem. Tudo é muito limpo, e também gostei do banheiro e das luzes dimerizaveis. O ponto mais alto mesmo foi o tratamento e profissionalismo dos funcionários. Muito bons!

Para uma pessoa com sono muito leve como eu, pode ser que dormir nesse hotel nao seja uma experiência tao fácil. O isolamento do quarto quanto a som e luz ficou a desejar. As cortinas não cobrem a janela o suficiente, o que me atrapalhou um pouco ao dormir pelas manhãs, quando a luz do sol entra pelos cantos da cortina. Os quartos também parecem vazar bastante som - inclusive as vezes conseguia escutar conversas de hóspedes que estavam nos quartos ao lado. Em um dia, a faxina nos quartos ao lado começou cedo (pelas 8h30) e não consegui mais dormir com o barulho - parecia que a minha porta nem estava fechada. O ar condicionado também estava fazendo um barulho metálico repetido e alto de vez em quando também, o que me fazia acordar.

A true 5-Star experience.

Amazing staff, location, cleanliness, security, technology, breakfast, privacy and comfort. This place has it ALL. I arrived five hours before check in and the staff were gracious enough to hold my luggage and allow me to freshen up from my 12 hour trip to allow me to roam the strip while preparing my room early for me. Literally a hidden 5-Star gem.

I can't say one negative thing about my stay at the Olinda. It's run like a 5-Star NY hotel, with the courtesy of a Southern Bed and Breakfast.

SAFETY: Smok alarm on main hallway by elevator was covered by plastic cap, balcony door lock broken, hot water in the shower was not running constantly (air in the system) could cost the burn, mattress very poor quality, air exhaust in the bathroom very dirty. Pictures available on request

A pessoa que fica no hotel não ajuda a carregar a mala dos hóspedes e então mulheres carregar as suas malas e descer os degraus da entrada principal, sem qualquer ajuda.,

Copacabana, de lo mejor de Rio de Janeiro

La impresionante vista de Copacabana desde la habitación. El restaurante del hotel abierto a toda hora con buena comida y a precios muy económicos.

Sólo funcionaba un ascensor que era insuficiente para la cantidad de huéspedes, y las llaves magneticas (tarjetas) no funcionaban bien, había que bajar a recepción a remagnetizarlas más de una vez al día.

Great location. Cool vintage look for the retrofitted areas. The view from the Copacabana beach was great. The windows can be fully open, so you can feel the breeze if you like. The bed is very confortable.

My apartment was old. Possibly not retrofitted yet. No pool. No sauna. No bathtub. Breakfast was not much. The elevator is slow.

A terrific introduction to Brazil

We loved the location right over the road from the beach at Copacabana. The breakfast was delicious. The staff on the desk were friendly and helpful and we really liked the tour they suggested. Our stay at Olinda Rio was a great introduction to Brazil.

Nice hotel right on the Copacabana Beach with friendly staff and great breakfast

Hotel is right on the Copacabana Beach with friendly staff and great restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. The staff was very accommodating and helped us with storing our luggage while we toured on the last day before our flight home.

Hotel is a bit dated and needs some refurbishing, but for the price it was really great.
