The lobby was beautiful.
The room was great, a little unclean, but great. The beach was easy to access.
The pool was nice, a little not kid friendly, but nice.
Yes the elevator took forever and the valet was slow but I understand that. It was no problem for us!
Only thing that I would say we didn’t like was how expensive everything was.

The apartament that I’ve booked was for 4 people but the suite they gave us is only for 3 people it’s means that we had to sleep 3 people in one queen bed and the sofa is just for 1 person, it’s terrible.

I’m being nice here and trying to help this hotel. Had to buy own toilet paper and wash towels all week. No maid service. Had to fix tv. No service. Security interrogating people at beach and pool lots of arguing. No main bar in lobby to congregate. You’ll need to Uber or drive everywhere. As one guest put it “you’ll spend half your trip in the elevator” unfortunate he was right as only one elevator for 40 floors and 400 rooms! Service non existent, asked for bikes and clerk said look outside somewhere. If I owned this business I’d be strongly watching the manager of the hotel as something is wrong here. I thought Hyde was a good brand?

Great spot, my only concern was the bed was a little soft for me, shower was excellent, bathroom lighting was not the best.. for doing your makeup

Front desk quite unwelcoming and rude. As soon as we arrived, you are faced with a stressful vibe, there was confusion as we were renting in the residence but the black lady on the hotel frontdesk side(sorry can’t remember her name) was quite unpleasant and was irritated that we didn’t know where to stand, which is a desk next to it that says Owners 🙃
We were then given access to the condo for 4pm checkin, but to our surprise the cleaning lady was still there and asked us for an extra 30min, claiming they only notified her to clean the unit around 3pm.
I noticed people working there quite unhappy and miserable, which unfortunately affects your mood and experience.
In the other hand, location, pool, everything else was great.
They need to invest in hiring better.

I loved the atmosphere at the property, the room was nice and clean. Although I did not like the fact I was told $75 for valet parking and was charged $112. I also didn't like the fact that we were required to use hotel towels at the beach if we used one of the chairs and hotel towels at the pool, instead of our own. Drinks at the pool were incredibly expensive considering the amount we received and we weren't allowed to bring in any drinks, although I noticed food and drinks around the pool that were not purchased. We also felt a little uncomfortable with security constantly walking around the pool.

The condo was in a terrible condition. The walls are dirty with some hole, Toilet doesn't flush unless you wait 15 minutes, carpet is torn and filthy, chairs and soft were dirty. The owners were advised, said that they would send housekeeping, then when they wanted to send them, we were out. I had property manager come and take pictures; his comment was ''we will have to shut unit down and force owners to change carpet, furniture and repaint''. On another note, you sometimes have to wait 15 minutes for an elevator, and chairs are not available at pool unless you go at 8:30 am. The cherry on the cake is that Hyde resort takes a $250 deposit to make sure we don't damage the property, and it gets reimbursed 7 to 10 working days after you check out. What a scam!

Apartment was nice but not clean. Property was fifty , crowded, poorly run. Took one hour to check in. No seating or towels at pool. Employees even admitted that they have serious issues with how the property is managed.

Very very dirty room! Most of the things in the room were broken, such as the shower head, door handles, dressers. Dirty walls, floors, carpets…
The cleaning lady even tried to charge us afterwards for the broken things! Beware of the scam! Make sure to let them know what’s broken right after check in.

Good location , very good view. Easy access to beach. But room is very dusty . One of my pillow case is not clean still have hair and cosmetic and smell on it. Decorate pillow and sheets very dusty and smelly.When I ask for new set of bed sheet and pillow case , it come next day at 3.00pm.

the only good part is the Oceanfront Balcony.
The unit was not well maintained: a deep crack in the ceiling, the door of the only closet missing, most of electrical plugs has no power, main TV not functioning, light fixtures with burned bulbs, carpet need deep cleaning, The shampoo, soap provided are hardly for more than 1 day
The resort has no service, one elevator for over 40 floors and you need to wait.
The front desk are nice but not helpful :you are on your own for any task needed as calling for transportation etc..
The provided beach umbrella and chairs are almost 1/2 Km walking to reach
It does not worse what we paid for and not suitable for seniors or restricted mobility

I have reviewed over 100 hotels in the past 20 years on Google and on Expedia. I almost did not book this place because of the reviews and what a mistake that would’ve been. It seems like all the complainers in the world keep leaving reviews only. The place was beautiful the staff were amazing my room was absolutely in every sense of the way great, clean and accommodating I want to thank the owners. Folks this is not a hotel so stop writing the wrong review. In every room there is a set of towels but there is washer and dryer so if you need more towels just wash them. If you want good service at the front desk try smiling at them the poor girls were horrified by the time I got up to them everyone on the line waiting was so nasty. Hi people. You are on vacation try having a good time and smiling when I got up and spoke to the girls at the front desk and I put a smile and I complemented their hair and their beautiful nails as you should they gave me anything and everything I want it. I could not have been happier with the staff from parking to poolside to concierge‘s desk. Folks have just become very impatient anyone who has written a negative review here I bet you they did not even have a good time at this place and they would not have a good time at any other place. Hyde beach resort was fantastic!! Thank you 🙏 all again.

The common areas are great! Pool, restaurant, etc. but the rooms need better upkeep. Carpet stains, rusted bathroom fixtures, toilet seats, wall dings&scratches, patio floor dirty, patio glass filthy.

This location was beautiful. The apartment/condo was spacious, modern and simply beautiful to wake up in each day. The view of the ocean and its proximity to the beach was amazing. There were 3 things we did not like: 1. The pay for parking daily seemed unnecessary and the fact that we did not know until we booked caught us a bit off guard, however, the valet staff was very nice.and prompt.. 2. When we arrived, there were no washcloths and the toilet ran, (we had to take the lid off and jiggle the parts after each flush). When calling the front desk, only about the wash cloths, we didn't even address the toilet, we were told that any issues had to be addressed directly with the owner. Since we booked via expedia, we did not know the owners so we had to provide our own wash towels. 3. The front desk was not friendly at all. We did not have a personal issue other than the unfriendliness but every time we went down, someone was having an issue with them and we overheard several times that their "tone" or "attitude" was unappreciated. They seem annoyed at the guests. I'm not sure if that is because there are owners and guests in the facility and perhaps they don't like guests but there was absolutely no warmth or friendliness from the front desk at any time. They gave us what we needed but didn't seem to care. One guy actually ignored us upon arrival. They definitely need to step that up.

We originally booked this for a fun girls getaway. The issue with this place is the check in and condo. This hotel isn’t a hotel they are renting out privately owned condos so the maintenance is lacking. We arrived to only 3 towels and one pod of tide for the kitchen and two rolls of toilet paper for a large two bed two bath condo. There was also no trash cans in the main area or bags save the small bathroom ones. The view was great. Location is a residential area so I won’t book this. Lastly check in for Covid was an issue. You had to sign in a log book and wait in line each time you enter the building. There isn’t much to do around the area & no restaurants are walking distance. Also because it was a privately owned condo there was no clean up and we actually arrived to dirty dishes in the cabinets. I would not recommend this place.

The room was not clean. Stains all over the carpet and sofas. The outdoor furniture was filthy. 1 elevator for 40 floors. Poor customer service. Property is not maintained, room had a large hole in the wall.

Elevators always packed up, we waited for the elevators anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes, I was on the 35th Floor and the pool is on the 9th floor, so if I have to get outside the hotel to get something and come back and then go to the pool and back to my room and go out for dinner and come back to the room I would have to figure out at least 70~80 per day on the line foe elevators,

The elevator was atrocious. Get ready for long lines and then stopping on every floor when you do get to cram in to the slowest elevator in existence. Staff was not helpful and rude, for the money 💰 this was beyond mediocre. Suite was clean, modern and great balcony and views but overall i give it 0/5 for super stressful check out etc.... hyde is a great name, hyde away and seek another hotel/rental.

The Hotel overall was amazing!! The front staff were very helpful and the place was a magical vacation for my fiancé and I had an amazing time. The valet parking took forever but after you figure it out you just wait for a while before headed down to it. The view was breath taking and the bar n grill had the best food we ate anywhere in town.

The property itself it looks nice but when you go to your room , smells like humidity , the bed smell really bad , the view was amazing but we saw a cockroach in the kitchen , they never came to clean our bedroom, honesty it was disgusting I couldn't sleep since then . We booked our stay at this property because of the good location and room size. Hyde offered 2 bedrooms which was good for our family needs. We stayed at this hotel before and like it there. This time, was unlike our previous experience. We got room 2704. When we came in it looked like this room wasn’t cleaned. Carpet had multiple heavy stains on it and coach in living room was with stains. Bathrooms and kitchen sink didn’t have hand soap and we even can’t wash our hands. I immediately contacted property manager. The property manager called me back to discuss my concerns. Per property manager this room was cleaned, but carpet and coach stains are permanent. He offered us to do another cleaning the next day. He promised us hand soap to be brought later. Also, he checked that he had no other room available to be switched to. We had no choice but to stay in this dirty looking room. To my unpleasant surprise the carpet and coach stains were not the only cleaning issues. We found that blanket in one of the bedrooms was stained with some gross looking stuff, bedroom handle broke in my hands, bedroom door was loudly squeaking that can wake up sleeping person, and safe in the room is locked with no instructions how to open it. I had to call property manager again. Soon after my call housekeeping person came to our room. Dirty blanked was only sprayed but not changed, door handle was repaired but door was still squeaking, and safe remains closed until the end. Not a good experience.

Love the location and pool. The unit we stayed in was dirty, the couch had stains, carpet had stains and the outside furniture was stained. We draped sheets over everything so we didn’t have to seat on the dirty cushions.

This is the second and last time staying at this hotel, very disappointing in many ways. The hotel had a real urban feel this time, with security guards and uniformed police officers around the pool area, we had to wear wristband at all times in the hotel and pool area. I couldn't believe how run down it looked in two years since my last stay. I highly recommend not stay here unless you are looking for cheaper room rates and an urban feel. Also the elevators are the worst in any hotel I have ever stayed at! The staff struggled at best.

I have never had such a bad experience in my life. This hotel is the worst I have ever stayed in. If I could give it a negative rating I would. Elevators are a nightmare, staff was not helpful, security was everywhere but not helpful. I had to go down 17 floors everyday and night because there were never elevators available. They had no towels or chairs in the pool or the beach available. When we tried to speak to a manager there was no manager or supervisor on site to address any of my concerns. When you call the front desk or housekeeping no one answers. The rooms and entire property was filthy dirty. Kids were spitting and throwing ice off balconies in the pool area. My wife got hit in the head by a pool umbrella because it was not weighted properly and the wind threw it about 5 feet. Balconies have broken glass on them. I could go on and on. BE AWARE AND DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

Elevators were terrible, not enough, beach chairs were down three buildings on the beach, room had stains in every room, walls needed paint, not enough chairs at the pool, no help from the service desk. Will never stay there again and do not recommend this resort to anyone. Had three parties in our group and all feel the same way

Pros: Location & view is wonderful. Nice kitchen, Bosch appliances. Comfortable beds. Washer & dryer in condo.
Cons: Umbrella location on the beach was not in front of hotel, had to walk quite a bit on the sand.
Severely understaffed.
Elevator wait time was 30-45 minutes! No matter what time of day.
Needed garbage bags, was told no one could help me with that. Or with getting more towels.
Very few pans available if we wanted to cook. No seasoning whatsoever. No pizza pan.
No soap to shower with. Only a small hand soap in each bathroom.
Couch extremely uncomfortable to sit on.
Condo in need of severe update- walls were dirty, had stains on them in various places. Carpet was also dirty and stained.
Grout in bathroom floors also very dirty.

The pool area and beach were great. However, the staff are not helpful and on the day of check out they knocked 5 times and it wasn’t even time yet . That alone made me not want to return. We booked a room for 4 got a room for 2 . We made it work , but highly frustrating. The elevators are awful. The condo itself was well equipped and happy about that .
