Outstanding location near Volcano national park with friendly and helpful staff. All of the details were thought of from breakfast to shoe cleaning kit and bathrobes. A book with all of the information you’d need about the property, about the National Park, and about the area was provided. We highly recommend this place if you’re in the area. Perfect place to stay right outside of Volcano National park.

Lovely grounds.plenty continental breakfast left in refrigerator so you can eat early. Room size fine. Could use slightly more comfortable chairs for collapsing after park. Also room for longer breakfast and end tables. All those electronics and planning maps/books/glasses have to rest somewhere...plenty resturants arround

What a cute place! We had a wonderful stay at Hale 'Ohu Bed & Breakfast to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. The place was clean & comfortable, the breakfast was nice, and the owners were helpful with area recommendations. We will definitely stay here again if we are fortunate enough to make another trip to this beautiful state.

The accommodations were amazing! The breakfast fresh and delicious! The grounds were beautiful! 5 minutes from the entrance to Volcano NP, 2 minutes from the Village, where you can pick up a awesome submarine sandwich to go for your hike. Make sure to vome back early (5 pm) and have dinner at Lava Rock cafe before they gwt busy.

Very close to the National park entrance (5 minute drive). Had a microwave, coffee maker, small fridge and they provide breakfast the night before so you can wake up early and get to the volcano. Well thought out and very friendly. Clean and modern. We would certainly stay again

Lovely, quiet, peacefully place to stay while visiting Volcano National Park. Breakfast each morning was delicious and the room was comfortable and clean. We were really able to relax and felt pampered. The grounds are beautiful - take a walk around!

The B&B is lovely! The property is gorgeous!! bed is comfy and room is super clean and cute. We actually got hit by a huge blizzard (yes in Hawaii!!), power and so was running water (since it ran on a electric pump) was out for 2 of the 3 nights we were there. But Nicole and Gabrielle did everything they can to keep us comfortable.

Excellent place to stay right next to the Volcano National Park. Gabrielle and Nicole were friendly and helpful. The room was quiet, clean, and well appointed. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The grounds were beautiful and included a nature walk for guests to enjoy. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast!

This is a really nice bed and breakfast right in Volcano. You are less than 5 minutes from the NP entrance, so the location is great. Check in was very easy and the owners are super nice. The room was very clean, updated and beautiful. There is a breakfast nook where we had breakfast already in our fridge for the morning to eat when we wanted. A nice table was set by the window. The food was delicious! We would highly recommend this bed and breakfast for a stay near Volcano NP.

We had a tremendous stay at Hale 'Ohu. What a beautiful property! The room was very nice and the shower was amazing. The breakfast provided was also a great touch. Also- the bed was super comfortable and the room was sparkling clean. Contactless check-in and check-out was a great option during COVID. Definitely a great option if you're looking for a place near Volcano and I'd love to return and stay longer!

This B and B has everything you need for a comfortable stay while visiting Volcanoes National Park. Beautiful rainforest setting. Care and thoughtfulness went into the design of the room. Extra touches were evident: Ample towels, a special makeup remover towel, extra pillows, blankets on the lanai for chilly mornings, umbrellas, flashlight, even earplugs. We enjoyed the provided Kona coffee and wonderful breakfast while watching the rain and listening to the birds from the lanai. A lovely stay, wished it was for more than 1 night.

We loved the B&B, the room was quite newly refurbished and hat a lovely patio facing the beautiful garden. Nicole was very welcoming and we especially liked the way she and her sister seemed to have thought of every little detail in the rooms and the services. For example breakfast: you find breakfast in the fridge, along with instructions on how to prepare the warm stuff in the microwave. I especially loved the banana bread! Volcano village itself is a nice and quiet place to stay, we would really recommend it and especially Haleohu B&B to everyone looking for a quiet and nice stay near Volcanoes N.P.

Nicole is a great hostess, very helpful and informative. The units are lovely, immaculately kept and the gardens are stunning. Although the volcano park is amazing, do take some time at the end of a busy day to sit and relax, listening to the birds and looking at the rain forest.

Lovely room and surrounds. Shower was lovely and the breakfast was more than adequate with little frittatas, fruit and delicious banana bread. Microwave, plates and cutlery all provided. Had a great dinner from the little food truck (Phons) which is just up the road.
