Had a great stay at Gialel Pisa who is in the perfect location just 7 mins walk from the Tower. My friend and I shared a twin room with an external private bathroom - but it was very clean and just outside our room. Also we had the most beautiful balcony - which we used a lot. The staff doesn't speak much English but they were very welcoming and helpful - so can only highly recommend.

Few complaints about this place, clean, good location, large enough rooms. Only issue is that the walls are very thin and you do hear a fair bit of noise from other rooms. But for the price for a few nights, it was great

The room was very nice with a fridge, excellent air con and a very comfortable bed. There was a small lift and the building felt very safe.
My only complaint is the noise level, not from outside, but from inside. There seemed to be no sound proofing and a lot of echo so you could hear loud voices from the halls and reception, TV, slamming doors, etc. I carry earplugs and had to use them to fall asleep most nights.
If it wasn’t for the noise, I would have given it a higher score. As long as you don’t mind wearing earplugs, you should be fine

This property met all my expectations! Gialel Pisa is very near the Piazza dei Miracoli where the Leaning Tower is located. A mere 6-minute walk is all it takes to marvel in the beauty of the spectacular monuments of Pisa. Moreover, the room that we stayed in is very clean and very spacious. A big plus is the wonderful and working AC which is a big deal after spending the whole day under the sweltering heat of the sun. The front desk staff are very welcoming! Highly recommended!

This is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in; cleaner than any of the big chain hotels. The staff was super friendly. Security is very strong. The location is perfect; between the train station and the Domo. It is next to the university with plenty of cheap restaurants and bars, yet the hotel is very quiet. Suggestions: (1) for breakfast try the coffee shop across the alley called "Filter." You will b e surprised b y the quality of the food, the presentation, the friendly staff and the low prices. (2) The guesthouse is on the fourth floor at the address provided. There is no sign at the entry of the building-just ring the bell.

We stayed in this place for five days and wouldn’t do it any other way. The room is spotless and spacious, perfect for a family of three; the location is excellent. You can walk to restaurants and shopping, a few minutes to the Leaning Tower, and walk to the train station. The lady and the gentleman who run the place are very accommodating and always pleasant. I would stay here again if we went back to Pisa.

I liked Gialel Pisa very much. The hotel is located on two floors of a condominium building, with an elevator, in the historical part of the downtown. It is surrounded by University of Pisa buildings and also on a main street leading to the Piazza del Duomo where all the major sites of Pisa are located. The reception was very friendly and efficient and the room was modern, had a balcony and window shutters, and a nice view over the town.
There are ample breakfast and dining opportunities in the immediate neighborhood.

It is really responsive both from the outside and the straff arguing loudly. Comfortable bed but AC out of order. The private bathroom is accessible in the corridoor and not from imside your room but nice and tidy. Great location and nice breakfast to buy just outside the bildning.

The couple who manage the rooms are very friendly and helpful.

The room was spacious and very clean, remodeled and wifi worked perfectly. The staff is amazing, kind and friendly and very helpful. Place is super close to the Pisa monuments with plenty of dining options and food is absolutely amazing. We walked to the train station, about 15 min, and got to Florence in about a hour. There are many trains that go back and forth with Florence. Pisa airport is also very close, 10-15 min with taxi. We traveled with two children. We loved our stay and can't wait to come back!

Very warm welcome, and due to the current heat wave provided cold bottled water. The room very spacious and very comfortable and the room was clean and perfect for myself, husband and my teenage son.
The guest house is just a 5 min walk to the tower with plenty of places to eat and drink on route. 100% recommend, perfect place to chill after a day out.

This is a lovely guesthouse in the centre of Pisa, just five minutes walk from the cathedral and leaning tower. The room was comfortable, spotlessly clean, with a lovely shower, fast wifi, and excellent air conditioning. Check in was easy and the staff very helpful. I give it 9/10 for the price. The only thing they could do better is provide a kettle, coffee, and mugs/glasses in the room. Otherwise, a fabulous place to stay at a reasonable price.

The family who run this property are wonderful! They are friendly and helpful and work hard to keep Gialel clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the walls between rooms are so thin we could hear everything going on in rooms on both sides (we were in room 404). This made it difficult to sleep since we could hear snoring next door. We could never stay there again and if you stay— bring earplugs!

Great location near the leaning tower but also quiet. Good communication from guest house about restricted check in times (you need to let them know arrival time to make sure someone is there and not after 9 pm, although they did say they can do check i9pm-12pm at an extra cost). Efficient check in (we checked in 7.15 pm) and then left to ourselves. The guest house was a set of rooms on the fourth floor of a residential building, very secure. Small efficient lift. Kettle and tea bags were provided if you remember to ask at check in. Extremely clean with a little fridge. Not the sort of room that you want to spend a lot time in but if you’re only there to fill in on the sights it’s great. USB charging points excellent and wifi ok. We walked around the tower at night as well as during the day as it was so close. Lots of places to eat at reasonable prices. It is a 15-20 minute walk to Pisa Centrale and a €15 taxi ride to the airport. Good shopping between guest house and train station.

The hosts were wonderful and accommodating. Location was great, very close to the Tower and shopping/restaurants. Wifi worked well! My only complaint is that my room had a (private, thankfully) bathroom detached from the main room. I had to leave my room and walk down the hall to access my bathroom. Also, the walls are very thin. Noise from the foyer was constantly heard, be it conversations, cleaning/vacuuming, etc. Overall a good stay but for short durations.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. There was a lift so that made it nice to get our bags to our room. We were greeted with very friendly people and a bottle of water each. The room was very clean and comfortable. We also had a view of the leaning tower of Pisa which was a bonus.

Gialel Pisa was absolutely wonderful. They greeted us at check in with cold water. The room was very clean with comfortable bedding and well functioning air conditioner in the summer heat. It’s a close walk to the leaning tower and major attractions of Pisa. Would recommend stopping right next door to Filter for coffee/breakfast.
