Casa Lecanda is an absolute top choice in Merida, maybe even in Mexico.

Staying at this hotel feels like stepping in a privileged environment, with a great courtyard and very nice rooms. The staff is very competent and helpful, friendly and engaging with guests. Breakfast was outstanding; great choice of food and top fruit offering. Would not mind staying there for a few more days.

The street outside was broken up, with a lot of working activity throughout the day and late in the night to fix things. This will be to the benefit of future guests, as it will be a nice improvement of the area. Would be good to make it traffic free.

beautiful inside the small lovelybappointed hotel- loud construction outside right now

beautiful secret hideaway behind closed doors with lovely small pool and gardening

unfortunately when we arrived you could not get to the road. it was completely ripped up with loud backhoe construction going on. not the hotel’s fault but they should’ve alerted guests attempting to arrive

We are going to miss Mario taking care of us every morning having fruit and coffee

Location is perfect to walk around historic down town area. Everyone who work at this hotel took very good care of us and make our stay fabulous. Can’t wait to visit CASA LECANDA. Again.

A relaxing oasis in the heart of Meridá

Hotel Lecanda was a peaceful retreat to come back to escape city life. You feel like you are in a little oasis in the middle of Merida. The pool and general decor of the hotel are stunning and the staff make you feel very welcome. We really enjoyed our breakfast and the homemade cakes were delicious. We had a fantastic stay in this hotel and was a wonderful place to relax.

The only suggestion I have is to add few more cooked options at breakfast but other than that I can't fault it.

Beautiful & exclusive boutique hotel

Beautiful hotel, greatly decorated and with attention to detail. Amazing breakfast and very attentive staff. Location is very central.

We only spent pne night there, a saturday, and a nearby club had music at extreme high volume until 2.30am. It was impossible to sleep. After talking to the staff, it seems like this is not the rule, and we were just unlucky, but cross check on this one if you are spending the weekend there.

Loved our stay! Would definitely recommend it to everyone!

Small, intimate and perfectly appointed. the staff were so helpful and friendly.

Not much we didn’t like about the property. While the breakfast was delicious, perhaps it could have been more varied from one day to the next.

The best home base for Merida

Such a beautiful hotel hidden in the middle of central Merida. Situated in a gorgeous but well-kept colonial building with a courtyard. Very nice free breakfast. Fantastic staff who provided my girlfriend with a surprise chocolate and fruit plate on her birthday. They organized our covid test before returning to the states very smoothly. Couldn’t recommend enough.

We were robbed

Superb restoration, luxurious interiors.

We were robbed. Manager promised to get back to us within 2 days but no follow up. Lots of staff go in and out of your room - and your things, it seems... if you stay, count your money before checking out and make sure to use the safe.

A perfect stay, could not be better

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. A luxury property combined with authenticity and homely personal atmosphere. Service was absolutely fantastic. We would consider going back to Merida just to stay there again.

This hotel is amazingly comfortable and nice people

Morgana was helping a lot for us trip planning when we arrived we had no idea what to do. Thank you very much! She saved our trip. All hotel people also are very helpful and very kinds. Breakfasts are great, evening cocktails are wonderful. I love swimming afternoon when I came back from hot outside. We love there! I’d love to come back soon.

I wish bathroom has more privacy but for there climates reason as very humidity, understanding for not closed bathroom.

Perfect in every way.

The hotel is beautiful, with a gorgeous courtyard. The staff were all amazing, attentive, friendly and very helpful. The entire place is spotlessly clean.

the common area is beautiful. the people that work there was very nice. PCR exam for travel can be done in the hotel. good price

lack of light in the room. Had a problem with the shower but they solve it afterwards. I would have liked the option of a more continental breakfast

Romantic gateway

Beautiful hotel boutique. The staff is really professional and discret. The hotel is stunning and decorated in a traditional Mexican style. Hotel Extremely clean and the service is excellent. Perfect ambiance for a romantic gateway. Thank you for this moment Casa Lecanda.
