Aussicht, wenn Wetter mitmacht

Hotel (Haupthaus) sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Tolle Lage, tolle Aussicht aus dem Restaurant (bei gutem Wetter) Wir hatten ein kostenloses Upgrade auf ein schönes Zimmer mit Terassentür. Abendessen lecker. Frühstück fein, aber für uns überteuert! (auf unserer 20 tägigen Reise durch Island das teuerste aber nicht das Beste)

Erg goed hotel ,lekker ontbijt ,mooie ligging, menukaart zag er heel goed uit.

Zeer goed ontbijt . Personeel was correct maar niet echt vriendelijk.we vroegen om thermos te vullen met kokend water omdat er geen waterkoker op de kamer was.. Nadien bleek er echter gewoon beetje lauw water in de thermos te zitten. Spijtig toch.

Het personeel bij het ochtendbuffet had blijkbaar geen goede dag toen wij er waren .

Perfetto per la tua vacanza in Islanda

Camere funzionali, calde e pulitissime, dotate anche di macchina per il caffè (gratuito). Ottima posizione. Locali comuni caldi, confortevoli, spaziosi e ben arredati. Staff gentile e disponibile. Buffet per la colazione ottimo e vario, così come la cena a buffet.

Sehr enttäuschend bei dem Preis in einem miesen Anbau unter zu kommen.

Schöne Lage auf einem Hügel, gutes Frühstück.

Das Hotel hat einen miesen und runtergekommenen Anbau. Hellhörig, knarrender Fußboden, kaputte Türen. Kabel hängen offen aus der Wand...

Une bonne étape

Nous avons apprécié l'amabilité du personnel, surtout lors de notre arrivée tardive, le confort, le petit déjeuner. La situation près de Kirkjubaejarklaustur est une très bonne étape pour notre voyage.

Friendly staff, quiet location, great buffet dinner (but very expensive)

Too expensive for a hotel in the middle of nowhere (300 eur/night for a single room). The 3rd bed in the room was very uncomfortable.

Great location near the SE coast with an excellent restaurant and bar.

Restaurant and bar were excellent....very nice buffet for both dinner and breakfast that allowed us to have a wide variety including several Icelandic options. This was the most expensive hotel on our trip, but also the nicest. Really enjoyed our stay.

Not sure. It's extremely remote which might be a problem for some people, but wasn't an issue for us. It was a convenient location for us to do a glacier hike the next day at Vatnajokull before driving on to Jokulsarlon.

An oasis of beauty and comfort between Vik and the Diamond Beach

Very comfortable in every aspect, with a great restaurant and bar, and a beautiful view

Quite expensive, but this is a rule in Iceland

Comfortable but limited restaurant options

Beautiful surroundings. Rooms clean and comfortable.

Our room faced the parking and it was therefore very noisy in the morning. The restaurant only offers a buffet which I found good but overpriced.

Great location, friendly staff but small rooms

great location, proper room and abundant breakfast (not included in the rate normally). Rooms are small/basic but complete with all furniture/appliances. design of the hotel and friendly staff are worth noticing.

the hotel is composed of different buildings thus you will have to walk outside across the street to get from one building to the other

Lovely hotel, great location!

Loved the location & the added bonus of the roof terrace for all guests to use! We were lucky enough to see the Northern lights on our first night! Room was comfy, clean & the hotel offered a nice breakfast!

We felt the buffet dinner was a bit overpriced, although the food was lovely.

Really happy staying in this hotel, the staff is really kind, they will help you with anything you ask, we got an upgrade room, the room is clean, breakfast is so many choice, also got a surprise from my friends also the staff on my birthday, thank you

The food was excellent. Lots of choice and good quality.

Wifi was intermittent at best and the room had a couple of minor issues with it. Aircon didn't work and one of the flushes on the toilet was broken.

The staff and happy hour were good. The bed was comfortable.

The curtains in the room were old and had holes in them. The carpet throughout the hotel was dirty
