It was a neat and cozy room. Cozy seating area for guests and information about excursions and restaurants on the island. Handsome owner

There was a magnet from St. Petersburg on the refrigerator. We threw it away, but it was unpleasant to see it.

Location is good but maybe a bit far from the harbour if you have to walk there.

Good reviews seem to grade the (awesome) island rather than this (average) guesthouse... Bed sheets didn't smell fresh and the house equipments are ageing. Room 7 is located directly near the kitchen and therefore very noisy (you will hear everyone cooking and cleaning...)

Great guesthouse with nice host who can help you for a short stay on the island.

Great location on the island, easy to get around and lots of detail provided by the host regarding puffin watching and tourist activities

Only one shower, can be busy when rooms are all booked up and have to wait.

Terrible. We had to leave and find an alternative

the location was potentially good

the owner was nowhere to be seen and nobody could tell us anything about our room, the place was like a youth hostel in the middle of central railway station with lots of half clad young guys running around and unpleasant smells of cooking to greet us as we arrived. We ended up not staying here so we think it would be appropriate if we were refunded our payment. This was not a guest house, it was a hostel.

Our room was beautiful! The house is in a great location, we were able to walk everywhere.

There is only 1 shower. It can make it difficult to get ready when the house is full.

there was no breakfast. Location was great nice neighbourhood view from windows Space for eating - like glass house

The kitchen was well equipped. The room was a reasonable size and comfortable.

The night table (between the two beds) could have been larger. And it would have been nice to have a table in the open area of the room. Neither of these are major concerns, however.

location was fine. close to the centre and harbour. beds were super comfy, we checked out a little later, and that was no problem, kitchen had all the facilities we needed, wifi was super fast, other guests were respectful.

A great welcome to Iceland for our first couple of nights.

Guesthouse Arny was a pleasure with Gaui serving as a great host. We loved the many little details around the place that made it comfortable, and there was much to see and explore in the Westman Islands. We'll be back.

friendly host, comfortable room, generous kitchen and sitting room with netflix, close to swimming pool and walk to coast via golf course; less than an hour to walk up Eldfell, stroll into town; thanks Arny!
