Overall, this is a fine property to spend a night or two in, but I would not recommend it for longer stays. The location is great and in a beautiful part of town. The breakfast service was lovely and well attended. I also liked the water pressure, which also ran nice and hot. Unfortunately, the hotel is older and not well refinished. My door was 1 meter from the elevator which made my stay very noisy with people coming and going, and I could hear every move my neighbors made—which means they could probably hear me too! I also had a very bad interaction the first day with the Hausmeister, who banged very loudly on my door and tried to enter my room while I was sleeping off some jet lag. Does he do this with everyone or only with single women who are placed close to the elevator? It was unsettling and the staff seemed to dismiss my concerns as his normal behavior. This place may be okay for families or single men and is honestly great for the price, though I won’t be returning.

Our stay in hotel Graf Zeppelin was perfect staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was ready on arrival and was clean and tidy very comfortable and warm. The hotel is very quite and relaxing. This is a well-located hotel on the edge of Konstanz’s historic town centre. They serve a very good breakfast and the staff seem friendly. It doesn’t have much of a life to it beyond the obvious - it’s a place where you sleep, grab something to eat in the morning and head out. They are actually missing a trick, as they could do good business selling coffee and cake in the afternoon if they wanted. Room in attic perfectly good, although TV bizarrely positioned at end of the bed in the middle of the room, effectively splitting the space in two. Noisy at night.
