WONDERFUL STAY IN LJUBLJANA

Exellent location, even if at 40 minute walk from city center, there is a bus stop just in front of the hostel. Bus available at anytime, also early in the morning. The first bus at 4.22 AM ok to satisfy any kind of your planning. All services, like supermarkets and restaurant, just round the corner. Inside, very safe and clean. Large room with air conditionning. Exellent showers and toilette rooms. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Good for a night

Clean. Location and room was quiet. Free parking in front of hostel on weekends.

Not centrally located, but close to bike hire and bus stop. No space to just hang out. Nobody responded within an hour to let me in when I arrived, luckily I had hired a car to store my luggage for the day.

Excellent hostel that was very comfortable to stay. Just be wary that it’s about a 20-30 minute walk to the bus station

Exceptional

The hostel is very clean, kitchen is great, enough showers and sinks + toilets, quiet, lot of services nearby.

It's a bif far from the center but luckily bus connections are great!

This is a gem if you want a quiet, clean, relaxing and comfortable stay!

Extremely clean room and bathroom. Very quiet and respectful other guests when I was there, but I also met some great other people. Actually slept very well! Right next to the bus stops to get into the city centre in a few minutes. Denis was very friendly and accomodating.

So clean, comfortable and kind staff

The hostel was so clean and lovely. The beds were comfortable and you go two lockers per bed. The bathrooms had some complimentary products and towels were provided for free. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment as well as shared food basics like pasta. The staff were very kind and welcoming, we had to cut our trip short due to health issues but I look forward to staying here again in the future!

It was a bit far from the centre, it is close to a bus stop though and the distance is walkable

It was the cleanest hostel I have been with a great staffs service!

The host is passionately taking care all the facilities and maintain cleanliness at all areas of the hostel. All the staff are dedicated to their best duty to the guests. It was super clean, great location and great host that you do not have anything to complain at all.

There‘s not much common area for guests except the kitchen and has pubs downstairs but not belongs to sparrow.

Very clean everywhere. The staff very nice and helpful. Air conditioning. Good large lockers with key. Separate toilets for men and women as well as shower rooms. Bus stop just outside the hostel. Walking distance to the stadium.

Not having a proper common area for guests. A bit noisy because of the road.

Super!

The owner is very kind and helpful. The kitchen area is useful, especially having a fridge, a microwave available. The room was super clean and had enough space for everyone. You get 2 personal lockers. Toilet area is clean. What I loved was the "take it in case of emergency" area with female stuff. There is a bus stop and a supermarket super close

Wonderful

The owner is very accommodating and helped recommending great food options in the area. The beds are super comfortable and very clean! The hostel is also around the corner from a supermarket and bus stop (10 mins into Center). Would stay again!

We travelled with one friend only and we got a whole room for ourselves although we paid for staying with others. It was a nice gesture from our host.

Everything was very clean and new, the room was comfortable and the locker was very spacious. I visited off-season, which meant there were very few other guests and I had the room to myself - while I wouldn't have minded some company, I would still consider it a plus vs some more central options.

The location was a little outside of the city centre - I noticed this when booking but since I did not yet know the city I had not realised how long of a stretch it was, it's not really a pleasant walk, which makes using public transport a necessity. Not the fault of the hostel, just a heads-up. :)

Very good

I was in a shared room for 4 people and we were two there. It wasn't very easy to find the hostel entrance, but the instructions worked well in the end.

A bit far from the Ljubljana center, but easily accessible by public transport or shared bikes.

Very good

Nice hostel, the rooms were clean and modern. Bathroom and kitchen, personnel friendly. Bus to town leaves right outside the hostel more or less so very convenient.

The decor is a bit bland and IKEA-esque, frustratingly the kitchen seems to have no oven and my bed had no bedside light despite all the others having one. Very quiet when I visited in late September 2022. Went to brush my teeth at half ten at night to find a very dark hallway with all the lights off!

Perfect stay if you like cleanliness and calm.

The hostel was clean and they made sure it stayed clean. I enjoyed my stay, it was calm. Not too far away from the city center, nothing a taxi or bus couldn't solve.

Spotlessly clean hostel in good location.

Spotlessly clean and very well equipped kitchen. Staff friendly and very helpful. The location of the hostel out from tourist area, in a business & residential area, a short bus ride from the centre I see as a positive. It allowed me to get a good feel for the city. Nice local sports bar a few 100m from hostel for a relaxing evening beer.

Only a minor point. Not having a common seating area (except for the kitchen) gave the hostel a bit of a soulless feel. But what it lacked in soul it more than made up for in functionality!

Comfortable stay

- located close to a busstop (6,8 and 11) - clean - owner responds very fast - a basket in the bathroom with emergency supplies for the girls (super thoughtful) - comfortable bed - 2 lockers - window shutters - AC

All was managed perfectly. Just be sure to send a message to them with the estimated time you will arrive to let check-in move smoothly. There’s not always someone at the property.

Best choice for young solo travelers!

I totally recommend this hostel to solo travelers and groups of young people, I spent 2 nights in Ljubljana as a tuorists, slept in MS Sparrow hostel, got to spend time with one of my sweety roommates, relax and have a good shower in the comfortable and clean restroom.

The Hostel is not super close to the center, walking distance 30-40 minutes, but I subscribed to the BicikeLJ app which allowed me to ride the city bikes for 1€ a week. You have a city bike spot right in front of the hostel!
