The River Haven House, nestled on a unique 2.5-acre property on Kern River with private river access, perfect for couples or small families. A beautifully updated Spanish-style home welcomes you with a fully stocked kitchen, wood-burning fireplace, and a cozy yet spacious patio area for barbecue & entertaining.

A true oasis awaits! Surrounded by mature trees, green lawns, fruit & nut trees within a privately gated space, this property is all about the outdoors! You are sure to realize that once you arrive.
Upon entering through the private gate, you are greeted by a large, welcoming driveway with the main home and garage to your right. Slow down time as you walk around the property and take it all in. Enjoy the well-maintained landscaping, lush gardens and the private river access.
The beautiful Spanish-style home includes a full kitchen, living room, dining room and main bedroom. The bedroom is furnished with a King size bed and includes a walk-in closet & full bathroom.
Just outside the main home is the attached, extra-large garage where you will find the second bedroom. This bedroom also houses a King size bed, but also includes a comfortably sized bunk bed with two full mattresses and a single trundle pullout. This space also has a full bathroom and laundry room.
The large garage makes for a great hang out area where you will find comfy sofas, a wood-burning fireplace, TV and games.
The main home exits to the patio area where you will find multiple cooking options: a propane Weber grill, a Big Green Egg grill & smoker, a pizza oven, a and charcoal grill and to toast your hands & feet, a built-in outdoor fireplace.
Enjoy the night sky as you sit out under the stars with romantic string lights draped overhead and enjoy the fresh air while the fireplace or firepit keep you warm.
The property has direct and exclusive access to the Kern River where you can swim, tube, sunbathe and fish. You are welcome to pitch a tent by the river; however, we ask that you please notify us as the lawn irrigation is fully sprinkler operated.
Just on the other side of the river you will find the California Living Museum (local zoo), Lake Ming, Kern River Golf Course, multiple riverfront picnic spots, Miracle Hot Springs up the mountain, hiking trails, nature walks. and more! Less than an hour up the road are wilderness camp sites and Lake Isabella. Continuing onward is the Sequoia National Forest where you can visit for the day knowing a comfortable & safe home will be welcoming your return.

*No parties or events allowed (Please, no music or loud noises allowed outside of the home). This is a extremely quiet neighbrohood and noise travels fast & easily, Quiet hours are 10pm-8am. The property is equiped with noise monitoring
devices and occupancy count devices, we will be notified if noise levels exceed a certain level. Additionally
we will be notified if occupancy count exceeds the number of guests booked on site.
*Smoking allowed outdoors only.
*Shoes off inside the house.
*Children MUST be supervised and monitored at all times.
*No surprise guests, only those accounted for and registered can enter the property.
*No firearms
*Please do not put grease or solid food down the kitchen sink. Septik tank is sensitive
*Please do no flush wipes, paper or feminine products down the toilet as the septik tank is sensitive.
*This is a rural property and as such, there is wildlife which includes: rabbits, squirrels, rats, mice, coyotes,
snakes, lizards, birds, bugs, and spiders, to name a few.
*Please keep the doors closed to prevent the above wildlife from joining you in the home during your stay.
*There are five secuirty cameras on the property for safety reasons. One at the main gate, one at the main home,
one at the corner of the garage, one at the carport and one by the river. NONE in the house.
*The canvas bell tent can also be booked for camping by the river, which could sleep 3-6 people, inquire within.
*Pets are allowed on the property (fee's apply), however must be monitored at all times and not left alone. Pets
must be kept close to owners at all times to avoid issues with wildlife. Please, no pets on the
furniture and beds. A fine will be applied if pets have been lounging on bedding and furniture.

Could of been cleaner. Taking shoes off every time in house was a major inconvenience. Figuring out AC and fans could of been easier with instructions. BBQ and pizza oven along with bathroom window was filthy with spiders and webs. The flies that came in late afternoon was terrible they surrounded the door-thousands of them. Would of be nice to know that the nearest store was miles away. The yard and river were beautiful. the current is way too strong to go into.

We really enjoyed our stay! The property is beautiful and is the best of both worlds! Glamp inside the house or the garage.. or camp by the river! We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay despite the rain. I needed to get away from work and recharge and this was the perfect place to do so. Having the river so close is amazing and my husband caught and released a fish. The dogs had a good time too. We would definitely stay here again.

This River Haven House is an absolutely breathtaking property! Grandparents (in their 80s) enjoyed walking down to the river every morning & enjoying riverfront view on the hammock. Grandkids loved hanging out in the HUGE game room in the garage with ping pong & foosball tables. Pups loved running on the big grassy area. We just wished we picked a cooler season, so we can enjoy the incredible yard more. And there a heavenly chicken coop on site nestled by a bamboo forest and water fountain. Highlight of our stay was when property manager asked to come by to feed chickens and brought us FRESH EGGS!!! Love the "from farm to table" experience.

We spent a very hot weekend here and enjoyed every minute. The property was super clean and had everything needed to make it fun for all ages. The lush green landscaping made it feel like a luxury resort. We would definitely want to visit again soon.

We had a amazing stay celebrating my husband's birthday. The property was even more beautiful in person the home was very well stocked from exta blankets to wonderful fresh egss. The beds were very comfortable too. We felt like we were in our own little private park even our pups had a amazing time exploring the property. We hope to return soon this place is pretty magical from the soothing sounds of the river to the frogs at night we live in the city and this was just wonderful to get away from all that noise but still close enough to run into town or have food delivered. My husband is already taking about returning so he can campout in the tent next trip. The landscape is so lush and well maintained we were even lucky to spot in one of the trees a hawk and babys you will never get bored of the views I promise!

Pulling through the gate, we were amazed by the beauty of this property. The landscaping and outdoor space is absolutely gorgeous. There is so much space to enjoy - we sat by the river, swayed in the hammock, relaxed on the lawn, played volleyball, bocce ball, and Frisbee. The house is well-kept and very comfortable. We had 2 teenagers with us who thoroughly enjoyed having their own space (away from us parents in the main house!) which was the bedroom and bathroom built in to one of the garages. The garage space is set up as a fun, sitting, hang out area. Complete with couches for plenty of seating, a big screen TV, a ping pong table, a Foosball table, refrigerator, fire place, and play area/supplies (for younger kids), the girls were quite happy! We all spent a good amount of time in there having a competitive ping pong tournament. The home has all the fixings for enjoying the outdoors - multiple BBQs, fire pit, pizza oven and wood (supplied). Communication with Sentia and Vahe was great. They were incredibly responsive and helpful. The Kern River is literally at the end of the property and part of why we selected this property. We were able to bring our dog and always appreciate pet-friendly accommodations.
