Verbesserungswürdig.. es kann aber ein Schätzchen werden

.. der Blick von der Baustelle im Obergeschoss auf die Stadt und das Meer .. Wohn- u Schlafzimmer waren gut ausgestattet .. die Bereitwilligkeit, sich um die Mängel so gut es ging zu kümmern … uns Ausflugstipp auf Nachfrage gegeben wurden und wir mitgenommen wurden auf einen Markt

… die Anfahrt zum Cottage war so steil und schlecht befestigt, dass unser SUV regelmäßig auf der letzten Steigung verreckt ist und es immer wieder eine extreme Herausforderung war, dies zu bewältigen. Zudem war es zum Schluß lebensgefährlich sie durch die beginnende Regenzeit überhaupt zu passieren.Wir konnten dadurch die letzten 2 Tage das Cottage nicht mehr verlassen. In der Küche hatte die Spüle kein Warmwasseranschluss, der wurde während unseres Aufenthaltes erst gelegt. Der Duschablauf war extrem verstopft und es musste ein Fachmann gerufen werden und so etwas braucht seine Zeit. Es war nur eine sehr bescheidene Auswahl an Küchenutensilien vorhanden, was für 4 Personen viel zu wenig gewesen wäre und teilweise Basics nicht vorhanden waren. Es wurde aber auf unsere Nachfragen eingegangen und einige Dinge nachgekauft oder ausgeliehen. Strandlaken wurden gegen Cash verliehen, sie waren neu und ungewaschen und daher erst einmal unbrauchbar, total ärgerlich. Besorgniserregend fanden wir die Unterbringung des Hundes auf dem Grundstück, der immer in einem Betonverließ ohne Unterlage aber mit Wasserabfluss eingesperrt war und in keinem guten Zustand. Wir haben uns für ihn eingesetzt, haben für besseres Futter gesorgt und regelmäßig Trinkwasser und Freigang auf dem Grundstück wenigstens…, es war herzzerreißend.. Unser Parkplatz befand sich auf dem Grundstück in Querlage aber so steil, dass der Beifahrer beim Aussteigen fast den Berg herunter stürzte und die Autotür aus den Angeln brach.

Tout était vraiment bien vu magnifique La seule choses c’est que si vous souhaitez faire des choses à pieds ce n’est pas possible. Utilisation de taxi par le biais de Bryan ou autre

A Paradise within a Paradise

Palm Leaf Cottage has breathtaking views! The property stands on the top of a tall hill in Moy Hall, Jamaica and overlooks the beautiful Caribbean ocean. My wife and I were elated to stay here for the duration of our trip, and for my birthday. The cottage itself, is so very peaceful and serene. Our only alarm clock in the morning, was the sounds of the cool island breeze and of birds chirping just outside of the window. Our host Byron, went out of his way to accommodate us with anything that we wanted or needed. He is also a professional taxi driver on the island; so not only was he able to conveniently get us to and from the airport, but he was also able to comfortably and safely shuttle us anywhere on the island that we desired to go. If you ever are in need of a place to rest and relax in Jamaica, this is the place to be! It’s truly a home away from home!!

Owner is a cab driver and is very expensive to use. $50 US to go to the local grocery store, while other cabs charge $6.

Amazing stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Palm Leaf Cottage! Our hosts Byron and Faye did everything to make our stay nice and enjoyable. They were very kind and welcoming. The property is very nice and clean. It has everything you need (extra linen, washing mashing, iron, etc). We had an amazing view from the cottage. It's been a pleasant and peaceful stay. We would highly recommend Palm Leaf Cottage to anyone traveling to Montego Bay!
