Serene and beautiful villa

The villa is located in a gated community, the community itself is quiet and the environment is quiet and peaceful. The self check in process was a breeze. The home is very clean and you can tell they pay attention to detail. The aesthetics are very modern and the beds are very comfortable. The air conditioning is very cold and can be modified to your liking. Thank you Andrew for sharing your space with us, we will be back soon

Lovely Villa. Terrible Host and service!

The villa was fine aside from the construction happening throughout our day, directly behind the room, and gum stuck in the bed head pointed out our toddler. But most of all- the host. The host was very rude and dismissive. Hard to like anything about the property with a host like that.

I had attached pictures that would speak for themselves, but site did not approve them due to the language in them from the host as 1 reason. The host told me to go eat waste (explicit) when I shared what I had requested from booking after the host started accusing me. I also reviewed this same post on Google (images available on that review) highlighting that I’ve blurred the links to protect our MINOR children and car plates for our public safety. The host decided to respond with the ring share links for the whole world to see our children and family movement. You can also find the host’s condescending responses under lower rating reviews. DISCLAIMER: The host has audio recording along with the ring share but doesn’t disclose this on the invoice- just video surveillance. So they just have recordings of your communications- breach of privacy. Thankfully the neighbours had loud music going that could blur some of our conversations and allow us some level of privacy in the ring share links the host publicized. My reservation was cancelled on the 2nd of 3 days at this location. I got the notification at around 4am, and responded as soon as I saw it, a little later in the morning. Andrew informed me that my booking was cancelled due to a “bookkeeping error”, but that the rest of my stay would not be affected. I said no problem. Then I realized that the reason posted for the cancellation was “invalid credit card information”. Now that there implicates MY character and reflects on MY profile with Booking- for which I’ve been using for reservations for some years now and have a good relationship with. I asked Andrew to look into this error, as I didn’t appreciate the chosen reason, as my payment had already gone through. He made me pay through PayPal (never had to do this in all my years with Booking) and it even accumulated a $7 US processing fee that was not on my total from booking. BEST AIRBNB EVER!!!

I have been to many Airbnb’s and I must say Nickels Garden Villas is #1 and I do not see anyone surpassing them. This place is a breath of fresh air with a very modern take on hosting. Even the light switches are futuristic, which shows attention to details. The gated community is also very quiet and the sofa and beds are among the most comfortable I have seen anywhere. No need for keys, you are given a personalised code to enter and even a personalised code for the Wi-Fi. We were assigned a personal driver throughout our trip which made life just that much easier. The only place I will stay while in Montego Bay is definitely Nickels ✅

BEST VACATION EVER

The villa is located in a gated community close to the city and it even has its own Police station inside the gated community. When you arrive at the villa, there is a driveway that is suitable for up to 2 cars with additional parking on the outside. The garden on the outside was blooming and the grass was well kept. We also saw some of the neighbours and they were very friendly. The community itself is very quiet, perfect for peace and relaxation. Inside the villa is very modern and is very clean. It has all the things you would find at home which made the stay super comfortable. The bed was super comfortable and the AC was very nice. Andrew attended to all our needs and ensured that we got our vacation off on the right foot and ended our vacation with a smile on our face. For the price, you get way more than you pay for and that was a definite plus . I have already booked 2 weeks in the new year and can’t wait to come back to Nickels

My Montego Bay Stay.

We had a great stay, the property was clean, well kept, left toiletries. Nothing was a problem when we asked for help, we was answer within minutes. We even ask for help with a taxi from the airport which the host kindly help us with. The neighbourhood is nice and quiet, neighbours were friendly and helpful when I got a little lost.

Living room was very hot and humid Could do with Air-conditioning in the living area, maybe something to look into in the future.

couldn’t smoke in the house.. but they accommodate and have ashtrays outside.. that was nice of them, and the 🪰 didn't like them too much. Lol it was fine cause the place made up for all that.

I like the comforting feeling of being there...and i like the fact that it's quiet....i didn't want to leave....being there brings a piece of mind

just the roads leading there but i understand they are working it on so it'll be better to drive on soon.

Exceptional

The house was clean and nice. It was in a scheme with a guard so added protection. The owner responds immediately to any questions you have or to let you know when someone is coming to do something. The driver Merlene was very helpful with getting me transportation to places and I want to thank her specially for getting a very good hairdresser who did a wonderful job on my daughter and my hair. Thank you Andrew for the great hospitality.

DO NOT BOOK! Extremely rude customer service and false advertisement!

DO NOT BOOK THIS APARTMENT! They have falsely advertised their apartment. I booked through the booking app for a 1 night stay with a pay at the property. I was sent a message from the owner or whoever is in charge of managing the property confirming my booking. I tried to contact the owner 3 different times by phone and sent a message updating them on my check in time changing. I was completely ignored. When I arrived at the property there were already guest there saying that they had also booked the property. After another 3 attempts to contact the owner I received a call from an unknown number. The gentleman on the said that he wouldn’t be accepting our booking as they don’t accept a one night booking. His exact words “ we’re not accepting your booking, the other guests have already paid”. When I explained that they did not state on their booking information that they don’t accept 1 night bookings he said he didn’t care and ask what am I going to do push myself in.

The place is quiet and secluded, loved the space. He responded to my messaged promptly and gave me my instructions before arrival. Depends on what you want in location can be far out but I was cool with it. Overall I enjoyed my stay here. Nice big bed, water bottles, ash tray outside, netflix, come as you please. 😊

My Mobay Stay

Best Villa EVERRRRR...😊👏👏

I loved how easy it was for me to get what I needed from talking to the owners to making arrangements for my anniversary... It was above and beyond... Only thing I had a prob with was getting in and off the bed as I'm a little short..dwl... I boosted in though so it was ok🤣😂.

There's wasn't anything I didn't like about the villa...

Host was very accommodating and conscientious. The place was very clean and the beds/pillows were super comfortable. The location was great. Quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. I came down to get some rest and relaxation. I accomplished that here at Nickels. Thank you.

I especially liked the fact that it was away from the hustle and bustle of the town center and the location is very quiet and peaceful and also very secure. This is definitely a home away from home. I'll definitely be going back.

I WOULD STAY AT THIS HOUSE AGAIN AND AGAIN.

The rental exceeded my expectations. The house was very clean and comfortable. The location was very safe for me and my kids. The host went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable and well taken care of. His hospitality was awesome and he was the perfect host. He kept in contact with me at all times to make certain that everything ran smoothly. I would definitely recommend Nickles Garden Villa to all of my friends. I give them 200% and I need look any further for a place to stay when visiting Jamaica.
