overall the stay was superb anbd we did enjoy the hospitaltiy of the staff and the hotel.

Breakfast was good, just about the right choice which gets your day started, The anytime coffee availablity in the lobby was indeed a good treat. The snack bar is also a welcoem addition for those who may have forgotten to pick up some snacks to snack on either at the pool or in the room as well.

Every thing was good, the staff are super friendly, the place is clean, the poool facilities is also a nice treat. the lobby TV is a good way to keep people engaged while waiting for front desk to help you or even while having breakfast. There ia ample parking availbility on the property which is indeed a plus point. A suggestion, during the summer the parking area around the property gets really hot, and it would be nice to have a shadded place to park your cars so if you need to step out some where, you dont have to enter your car, which feels like your entering a sauna, since your car is sitiing in the parking area under the sun. A shaded car park may be in some area of trhe lot would be a great addition, this is my thoughts.

It was fine, I'd stay here again.

Lack of closet or suffucient place to hang clothes. There was no iron and ironing board in the room when we checked in but they were promptly provided when I asked for them at the front desk.

Very dissapointed

The staff here is very unfriendly. We felt like were discriminated against. They never cleaned our rooms inn the 2 days we stayed there and had to always go to the front desk because they ran out of towels. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

All in all we still enjoyed our stay at Microtel. The staff were extremely nice and accomodating.

The Location was great. I was extremely disappointed that I could not partake in breakfast. It seemed you had to be present as soon as it started. We came later and all the eggs and bacon etc. were gone. I feel like something could be done to space out the food so everyone can eat a decent breakfast, I don't normally eat cereal for breakfast. Some guests eat more than they should and make multiple rounds and forget that others may need to eat at a later time. Each time my family and I came to have hot food there was none. Very disappointing.

The sound in the corner room was horrible. The neighboring room was very noisy all night. We asked for a different room and the hotel accommodated us however we had really noisy neighbors above our room and when we told the front desk they called the room above us and the noise stopped at least the time we called. The construction requires more sound proofing. In addition the toilets were too low to the floor

It was ruined by the rude hotel staff themselves

The property itself was on its surface decent and well-located near the beach.

We were awakened at 4AM by a smoker who set off the fire alarm throughout the hotel. Our young son was terrified and couldn’t fall back to sleep for hours. The water wasn’t working when we were startled awake because a pipe burst and the lobby flooded and remained so the rest of our stay. The manager of the hotel- Will Finnerty- did comp us an extra night to try to compensate for it. That night, the desk clerk also offered us a late check out at 12:30PM the next day which we confirmed with him multiple times. However, the next morning after being out to meet a friend, we were locked out of our room at noon. When we told the new desk clerk- TOM- that we had until 12:30, he agreed. Yet, he then told the cleaning crew to take stuff out of our room and put it on the front desk before we had a chance to retrieve it. This included an expensive medical device which they had no right to touch and had to be sterilized with great effort afterward. Not only was Tom extremely rude and unapologetic about what he did, but chastised me when I tried to clean the machine in their lobby since they locked us out of the room early. This stay was ruined by their awful incompetence, lack of communication and complete unprofessionalism. I reported what happened to Wyndham Resorts who said I’d hear back from them within a week. After hearing nothing when a week passed, I contacted Wyndham who insisted

Breakfast was poor. Powdered eggs were available only 1 day out of 3. Limited options. Same thing each day.

The breakfast needs improvement, not having ongoing construction above my room would be nice.

Team travel

The staff was wonderful! The water bottle filling station was amazing- so useful!!! Breakfast was good. We had lots of fun at the pool and used the fire pit too. Beds were even comfy!

We came with a baseball team, we had to leave the hotel at 6:30am - which is also when Breakfast started. We requested to have it available a bit early so we could actually eat. The staff when we checked in said it wouldn't be a problem and the first morning it wasn't. The wonderful lady had food out and our kids were able to eat. That night, another baseball team checked in and had a MAJOR party in the lobby, the pool area, AND the fire pit. All areas were unusable to anyone else. My guess is they made such a mess that the next morning we were punished by not making breakfast available. We were told "corporate wouldn't allow it." If that was the truth, shame on corporate for refusing to serve guests what they paid for!! If that was a cover, shame on hotel management for not shutting down the previous nights "party" and punishing the wrong group! We were asked to not host any meetings in the hotel lobby and we followed that directive. Our boys were polite and families were respectful of the staff and property.

Overall good just a few details need attention.

Very clean, convenient location

Breakfast was scheduled until 9:30. Food was gone at 9:00. I expected it to be dwindling by then but eggs, bacon, pancake batter, bagels were gone. Reported refrigerator noise on room. Loud motor all night.
