The bar and art exhibit were cool. The penguins were a lot of fun too!
Location wasn’t the best for walking to the ballpark, but it wasn’t bad either.

It was very updated and so much to do inside the hotel all night.
One thing I didn’t realize when booking was breakfast was not included. We thought with the price we paid, breakfast would have been included.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating. I ended up getting sick while I was there, and they went out of their way to help me and my daughter. One of the front desk guys bought me a sports drink with his own money to help with my stomach bug. That is service!!!
We really liked the pool, sauna, hot tub experience. Very nice!
The design of the rooms was great, especially the room with two queens. We first checked into a room with a king, but then switched to a room with 2 queens. It was much nicer.
The museum was great, too.
The parking could have been better, but we found parking in a paid lot behind the hotel.
The top mattress in the bunk bed was very hard, but the bottom one was ok.
The service in the restaurant was a bit slow but very friendly.
We had some issues with our key cards, but they resolved it.

The helpful and friendly staff!! The front desk, valets/Door, house keeping staff were all great. The Museum was spectacular and very accessible.
The only inconvenience was no vending machine or snack shop.

Beautiful & Unique. Loved the overall aesthetic. Employees were efficient, helpful, patient & friendly.
Did not like the scent of the bath gel - Rum-something. But that is minor!

I booked one of the loft rooms & it was fabulous. Lots of space with a coffee machine & sitting area. Comfortable bed. The bar staff was absolutely amazing as well as the food.
I did not like that there were stairs I had to walk down to get to my room. I don't think any reviews mentioned this. Thought I would give folks a heads up.

Amazing Gym/Spa facilities - better than any hotel I've stayed at, and incredible for the price. The gallery was also a gorgeous bonus.

The history of the building itself is amazing.
There was no designated smoking area. We had to go out the side door and smoke on the sidewalk. Which isn’t a HUGE deal, just a tad terrifying.

Modern, very clean, and the room was comfortable. The coffee shop was also quite good and the weight room and pool were excellent!

We really enjoyed the stay. found cheaper parking right behind the hotel. The staff was amazingly helpful and cheerful all the time. The Hot tub was awesome over 20 feet long so plenty of room but mainly had it to ourselves. pool is huge too.
my wife didn't like the coffee options in the room. Having to go down to the front desk for ice was a bit of a pain

Cafe and fitness center is very modern and nice. Location of the hotel is great.
Pool area is not supervised - lots of small kids unattended in the pool and hot tub. Yoga is available, but staff does not know how to sign up or register for this. Staff overall is not well informed/knowledgeable. Parking should be included in the price as well as at least a bottle of water in the room. We were misinformed about parking, bar voucher usage, and the billiard area was reserved, so we could not use the open lounge area.

I didn’t care for the bunkbed.

The property is beautiful and the food at Idol Wolf is amazing.
It was not near as clean as it should be for a boutique level hotel. Finger prints and smudges on everything. Dirt on the floor and fingerprints on shower door, mirrors and windows. No coffee cups in room, dirty towel under vanity when I checked in.

All the art work
Waited 15 min to get waited on at the bar. Friday night no one even acknowledged us. Saturday night we tried again and never got waited on. we gave up and went to another venue. our heat wasn’t working only got to 61 in our room. we did get $50 off our bill but we didn’t enjoy bundling up even being inside

We loved the hot tub and the rooms the most
Parking !!! sketchy area not good part of town. On top of the room rate we also payed 45 a night for valet parking, which is really the street in front of the hotel. There is a parking garage across the street also but that also is not free in other words even though you’re staying at the hotel, there’s nowhere to park.

The staff was beyond excellent. Perfect customer service. Polite, professional, caring, but not cloying or over friendly and familiar.
When we got to our room it hadn’t been cleaned yet, but the excellent staff took care of us made it right to our satisfaction.

The staff is very kind and helpful. The room is super nice and the bed was very comfortable. We ate at Idol Wokf and the food was superb!
The parking isn’t the greatest. My car was fine all night but I did worry about it.

Beautiful property. Lots to look at.
Great staff.
We didn’t get to see the museum because of a private event. Valet staff was very polite, however our vehicle smelled like marijuana after they had picked it up for us.

The hotel was beautiful inside. I loved the art work. I loved the black walnut latte in the little cafe downstairs! Was amazing with oatmilk! The staff was very kind and professional. The male and female staff members that worked overnight Saturday night, 12/16/2023 are worth their weight in gold!! I had an issue with someone in my party. They went above and beyond to make sure I was safe and taken care of. They truly showed they cared about their guests and their well-being. That spoke volumes to me!
Parking options are $45 per night valet or street meters. There are no other options that would more cost efficient. The bar in the lobby was very nice and we were there later in the night for a drink. Went to order another round and bartender said he had already called last call, but we never heard a last call made even though we were sitting at the bar. But the drinks we did have were good. Beer was $7 bottle and the mixed drink I had was $16.

Couldn’t get in touch with room service several different times.
Phone has a button for room service and a button for restaurant- both go to the front desk
QR code for room service does not allow you to order dinner, only breakfast and lunch.
Tv wouldn’t connect to the internet several times
Hot water didn’t get really hot it was more luke warm

Amazing stay, wonderfull sport facilities, great art, topnotch food, a bit hard (read impossible) to get a table in the restaurant, every evening for the six days I stayed there, the restaurant was so called full meanwhile three quarters of the tables were empty.. had to eat in the bar and that was just fine, but weird that they refuse clients in the restaurant meanwhile their resto is and often stays empty the whole time. Top food when the chef is there, when he is not there you can see the difference, the food is less well prepared. Personnel is very friendly and helping. I globally loved my stay and definitely recommend this hotel! the art everywhere is simply amazing!
I booked a massage, I always to that when I travel and I travel a lot. the massage was excellent, except at some moment about 15 minutes before the end, the person doing the massage left, she then came back after more then 10 minutes and did two more minutes. A shame because I paid for the full 90 minutes. She did not appologize or say anything. she just left. really weird.. but for the rest my stay at this hotel was beyond expectations, everything was perfect, nice, friendly, smiling, positive, really a great experience.

Really unique hotel with a lot of whimsical and cool features including all the art. Beds were very comfortable. Staff was super friendly.
Ac in the room made a little bit too much noise but not that bad. Nit picking.

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable. I truly enjoyed the amenities as well.
A housekeeper named "Pedro" stole $40 out of my purse on Saturday 09/16/23 while I was getting my room serviced, and I reported the situation to management. I was told there will be an investigation pertaining to this incident. This is a new hotel and I'm sure they'll learn to rid themselves of the bad staff members. I still want my $40 back. Ladies and gentlemen please lock away your most valued possessions or keep them on you. No one should be violated regardless 💯

the valet was exceptional in assistance. answered questions and offered recommendations.
idle wolf restaurant and bar had a great vibe and delicious cocktails. bar staff were friendly and responsive. didn’t have to wait long even with a crowd.
the hotel is not located in the best part of town and has no parking garage. felt concern about leaving vehicle in adjacent parking lot. invested in the valet so we could stay parked in front.

Shower door was sitting across from toilet, other peoples clothing in drawers, rooms very claustrophobic , had to check out immediately, and only reason i booked there was for a restaurant….. it was closed .

Pool. Gym facilities. Hot tub. TV casting. Sex.
Expensive parking. Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. Bad neighborhood. NO ICE MACHINE!!

The building is incredible! I usually never want to hang around the hotel when I travel but this place was the exception- beautiful and unique galleries, decorations and amenities. I felt like I was in a movie. Food is great, so is the coffee. The room is super clean, comfortable and stylish.
Its unfortunately a little inconvenient to get around STL- there’s a main avenue with restaurants that’s walking distance but that’s about it. It’s also a tad pricey.

The staff was amazing specially night staff! Felt safe during the whole stay!
