Such a DARLING little cabin! I loved the theme and we could really tell that a lot of thought and effort was made to make it modern. I loved the decor, it was so cute! It certainly elevated the experience of staying there, because it felt more like a nice hotel than an air bn’b. I also loved the hot tub and large yard; it was nice to be able to have a space for my dogs to play and be kept safe while we were out doing things like OMSI and the zoo. It was especially wonderful that the owner of the home provided a pantry full of breakfast items, quick soups, snacks and sodas. We didn’t eat much of it, but the thoughtfulness was sweet and appreciated - she even had a little sign in the pantry that said “please take one!” It made my whole family feel welcome! The cupboards were also full of sensible items like spices, sugar and olive oil which made cooking so nice, because we didn’t have to go out and buy a certain spice for one meal. The owners provided a little three ring binder that included the WiFi password, and local sites to visit as well as neighborhood amenities. I just wish I could thank the owners personally for all of their efforts to make their cabin nice. I wanted to thank the decorator for making such an effort to make the home cute and decorated; I loved the little amenities that really elevated the whole experience. Thank you!

This house was amazing! Located in the woods there were some spider webs on the outside of the house, which alarmed my kids for about 5 seconds. Then, as soon as the door opened they were in love immediately. My wife and kids said we should buy and use the house for our summer cabin. They loved the decorations, amenities, and small extra things the homeowner added: little cereal packages, granola bars, and sodas in the pantry. We loved this property!

The pictures make this house look bright inside. It is not. Lighting is not good at all. On the surface, the house looks clean, but open a cabinet or drawer and all you find is filth. We had to wash anything that we took out of a kitchen cabinet or drawer. The oven racks look as if someone cooked meat right on the racks, no pan. Because of that, the house smelled like a burning meat whenever we used the oven. THREE GOOD THINGS ABOUT THE KITCHEN: the coffee maker is new and updated. Works very well. The refrigerator serves water and ice from the door. The dishwasher is top notch. The couch is awful! Not comfortable AT ALL. The green chair in the living room is broken. The kitchen table needs replaced. The house does not heat evenly. Beds were okay. The faucet in the master bath can barely be turned on or it sprays all over! The neighborhood is quiet. Plenty of parking. We did not use the shower/tub. All of the towels were "non absorbent" as if they had been washed with softner. We washed the kitchen towels and the grimy pot holders the first day to make sure that they were clean. We were extremely disappointed.

We had a wonderful cozy mountain stay at the Fox Den and it was the perfect place to celebrate my son turning 18. Perfect proximity to skiing, snowshoeing, and inner tubing and then back to the cabin to prepare a warm meal a soak in the relaxing hot tub. The rooms had wonderful simple decor and the beds were comfortable. We made wonderful memories there.

We loved the Fox Den. The home was very spacious and the big, fully fenced yard was great for our dogs. The house was clean and updated and had pretty much everything we need. I’m not knocking stars off because this is based on preference, but the furniture is very hard. Especially the mattresses. Unfortunately we did not get a lot of sleep because it was so uncomfortable, but we are used to a soft mattress. Just something to keep in mind. Other than that we had a lot of fun!

The home was in a nice location. We had a few issues upon arrival which really bumped into our evening plans. Pipes had bursted before we arrived which caused a lot of flooding in the garage. Vacasa was great at getting someone out to help with issue, but issue really interfered with our evening. Also, bedding was not fresh and had animal hair inside beds. The floors were not clean and had dirt, animal hair, food crumbs throughout. Some dusting would be really nice as well as some lights need fresh bulbs. Listing states it is dog friendly, but home should still be cleaned properly for those who do not have dogs when staying. I probably wouldn’t stay here again if offered. Some item updates for kitchen that would be helpful is scissors, plastic baggies, and foil. Most items in kitchen were helpful. Master shower does not work well and might need a new shower head.

Cute, and cozy… could use some dusting, and more glasses. Neighbors definitely made us feel not welcome.
