Overall the property was very nice and the couple little things we found wrong was very quickly addressed by the owner. I guess the only downside is parking. If you only have 1 vehicle you are golden. But if you have 2 then you have to find parking on the street which the apartment complex across from the property likes to park there. All in all the place is well worth it. Very clean, very nice private pool in the fenced in back yard. Would reccommend staying here to others. Just can't really go wrong with this place.

Very responsive host. Clean house with good supplies. Overall a great experience. Neighborhood doesn't offer much in walking distance. And I would highly recommend that the owner add a nice speaker in the main living room so guests can play music. Thanks for having us!

Large common area with a single table that we could gather around. Grocery nearby as well as restaurants. Area felt very safe, too. Bathrooms very well appointed with nice towels and bed linens. Kitchen adequate for dining. No need for serious cooking in NOLA anyway! Management fixed an issue with the ceiling fan immediately which was much appreciated. Not in management’s control, but there is construction in the area. We would definitely rent again. It worked extremely well for us.

Our family of 9 came to New Orleans after Christmas for our annual Post-Christmas trip. We had a really good time. The house is not in the heart of NOLA but it is just a few blocks walk to the St. Charles Trolley and a bit more to the RTA. RTA passes are very cheap. There seem to be lots of Uber drivers so the wait was not long to get a car. The common area of the house is quite spacious and allowed us to spend the evenings and mornings together in a comfortable setting. The place was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. We wished that there were extra blankets and chest of drawers or luggage racks. We wound up putting our suitcases on the floor which is not comfortable. The house is quite new and there is construction all around. The noise was not a problem but bring ear plugs if you are sensitive. We were there on New Year's Eve so construction noise seemed mild compared to the fireworks. We had a small plumbing problem and it was fixed within a few hours on a holiday weekend. They were very responsive and easy to work with. We usually cook together on these trips but there were no "supplies". The kitchen is lovely but there were no cooking supplies beyond salt and pepper. It would have been great to have some oil, spices, herbs, etc. We have come to expect this in our VRBO rentals. A very nice place to spend our family holiday.

This is a lovely property! Its a 2 block walk to St. Charles and the trolley car. We felt very comfortable and would definitely stay there again. The owners were very cooperative and timely in responding (we arrived a bit early and they activated the key code). You won't be disappointed in this property!

Our initial reservation attempt should have been a clue. Initially my wife reserved the property but when I attempted to confirmed, the property wasnt available for the same date range, so we settled to spend 1 night @ another property owned by our renter and the remaining stay @ the primary property. Well, once we paid the final installment, we were inform that the property we settled for may not be available due to needed repairs so again we settled for another change. Upon arrival, only the master bdrm and living rm area had TVs. 2 out of 5 bdrms did not have a dresser nor a closet. Each bed were singled mattress, very low to the floor. I called the owner to express our huge disppointments and he did offer to provide a refund. Where can we find a place to stay for a week in extremely short notice for four families ? When life deals lemons, we can make lemonade, so we remained in the properties. In addition to our disappointments, the primary house was diagonally located across from construction of a new building. Between 6 & 730 each weekday morning, loud construction noises blaired. There is also a very large empty lot adjacent to the property so it seems primed for construction as well. We were notified that water sanitation & pressure would be compromised for 6 hours, of one day. The owner did provide cases of water. I could go on but needless to state, the property was not up to our normal standards. New Orlean cuisine and festive activites were great!

Everything was as advertised. The home is a brand new build. Matter of fact, it appears that the entire neighborhood is either new or currently being rebuilt. Which brings me to the only drawback of the rental -- construction noise. I personally didn't have a problem, but if you're sensitive to noise in the mornings, maybe bring some ear plugs. In any case, should be complete in a year or so. The neighborhood, while in a bit of transition, is very nice, and beyond convenient. Near multiple forms of public transportation. Actually within walking distance of downtown/ french quarter, but it would be a bit of a haul. There is a small convenience store right across the street, and a bunch of nice little restaurants within a couple blocks. Absolutely everything you could want (large grocery stores, big box stores, pharmacy, shopping mall, etc.) within a couple miles. And you get one dedicated parking spot in the driveway if you want to bring a car. There are two master bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, one downstairs and one upstairs. One of the masters has a king bed, the other has two queens. There is also a powder room on the main floor. The other three bedrooms are upstairs. The owners are exceptionally responsive and accommodating. The pool and pool deck are the stars of the show. Pool is sparkling and pool temp is ideal. Go have a great time!
