Our stay at Las Mananitas was fantastic; San Jose Del Cabo is a great place to get away and relax, and this property is ideal if the goal is peace and quiet in a wonderful, comfortable tropical setting. Our host was perfect.

I don't usually take the time to write reviews, but this property is worth it! It is new to the market, and we were the first lucky family to be able to enjoy it! First, the condo itself is beautiful and the pictures don't do it justice. The beds were incredibly comfortable and everything was high quality, from the bedding to the cookware. The pool is literally steps from the spacious patio, where we spent almost every morning and evening hanging out enjoying the ocean view. The pool area is gorgeous, large, and has plenty of loungers, all nicely spaced out. We never had a problem getting chairs. In fact, there are two other large pools in the condo complex along with hot tubs. And being on the ground floor is super convenient--no running up stairs if you forgot something in the condo! It is a gated community with security and always felt very safe. Located in the Las Mananitas condo complex, the location also can't be beat. It is within walking distance to a large grocery store and many restaurants, and an 8 minute drive to downtown San Jose. We did rent a car which I recommend, as it gives you the freedom to explore, although you could certainly manage with walking and Uber rides. The condo also came with complimentary shampoo, soap, dishwashing detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. There is a washer and dryer, but you will need to supply the detergent (I packed pods). Six large beach towels and a cooler are available for use. We also enjoyed the games and books in the condo! Some of our favorites while visiting this condo: 1. El Wine Shop for coffee and breakfast, plus a great selection of affordable wines, just up the hill and around the corner from the condo. 2. Surfing at Costa Azul beach, just a quick 5 minute drive from the condo. 3. Beach club at El Ganzo hotel, 15 minute drive to the Marina area. You pay $50 a person, but $40 of that goes to food and beverage. Great cabanas, food and a good swimming beach in a protected area. 4. Dinner at the Hangman in San Jose. They don't take reservations but you can order a beer from the host if you have a wait. Really good, authentic, cheap tacos! This seems to be a favorite among locals and tourists! We rarely go back to the same place twice on vacation, but we just may make an exception for this fantastic condo in fun San Jose!
