The cottage is a short stroll only 8 houses from the beach access at East Ruskin Pavilion, one block to downtown Seaside, and steps to gorgeous Seaside Avenue.
This one-bedroom carriage house can be found directly over a garage very privately located off the main cottage, ‘Vista Del Mar', and facing East Ruskin Street with a private driveway with parking for one car. It has its own private entryway, as well as an outdoor shower. Guests can meander through an enclosed stairway to find the entry door. Step into the main level and discover an open floor plan. This level features an open living area, as well as a flat-screen TV and white slipcovered chaise lounger seating for two. In close proximity to this space is an open, fully equipped kitchen, as well as a queen bed and full bathroom. Another amazing feature of this cottage is its very own private balcony, where guests can relax and enjoy stunning sunsets and views of town. I did some research and chose the perfect little getaway for Us! This cottage was a great location and a great size for the two of Us. We got prompt/friendly service when we asked questions.

We traveled to Seaside for a friend's wedding. We loved the convenient location of this rental - to the beach, restaurants, shopping, and the chapel. We elected to not rent a car and the Uber from the airport was very affordable. The rental includes complimentary bikes and Seaside is very bike-friendly. The property itself is well maintained, clean, and quiet. We were delighted to see a welcome beach bag that included beach towels and a bottle of wine. With this rental you are paying for the location and it was worth every penny. Homeowners Collection was in touch ahead of the visit and checked in via text periodically. We did not have any issues and hope to return again!

The staff members of the management company greeted us at the home to acquaint us with the property. Customer service was excellent.Would recommend replacing the bed mattress.We enjoyed the beach services, area restaurants and walking around the Seaside neighborhood. We would definitely recommend Homeowners Collection and this cottage.

The property was very clean, check in easy, lots of communication, and the perfect location. Decorated very pretty. The only negative was the mattress which was very, very soft and seemed older. The metal bed frame squeaked when you would move in the bed. Otherwise it was perfect. Would stay again.

My wife and I stayed 5 nights in April for her birthday. We stay in Seaside every year often multiple times. The location of this property is great. Very close walk to the beach and also to the restaurants and shops. There is no parking directly outside the unit but we had no issue finding parking nearby. The size of the unit is fine for a couple. I will say the interior and finishes were not the nicest we have encountered in Seaside. But nothing was not functional. Just dated and worn. Especially the bathroom. We enjoyed the balcony deck. Overall we had an awesome stay. Great food, weather, and company!

Wonderful cozy one bedroom cottage. Cottage was so clean. Love the deck with rocking chairs and easy access front door. Loved the openness and lots of light coming in. Fully stocked kitchen including full size refrigerator. Blinds on all windows were wonderful to have. Bed comfortable and great full size shower a plus. Stackable washer/dryer used frequently. Complimentary bikes included were used a lot. Great location! Very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again in this cottage. This is our second cottage renting thru Homeowners collection who is wonderful to work with both booking and throughout our stay. Such a wonderful vacation!

We booked the Carriage House for a one week stay. It was the perfect place for the two of us. The rooms were filled with light. The furnishings suited us perfectly, Everything was very comfortable. Linens were top notch. TV and WIFI were great. Very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. We even cooked at home two nights and enjoyed dinner on the porch in our rockers. The town square is easily accessible from this location. It was such fun we added an extra night to our stay. We will be back!
