Eagle's Nest is beautifully furnished and offers amazing accommodations for 8 guests. It boasts 4 large bedrooms with 2 king beds, 1 queen and 2 twin beds. Two of the western facing bedrooms have stunning views of the enormous spreaders waterways and wildlife.( Eagles, Hawks, Egrets, Pelicans, just to name a few) Eagles Nest has 2 in a half bathrooms with the half bath on the 1st floor and 2 main bathrooms on the second floor.
As you walk into Eagle's Nest you will amazed by the beauty, serenity, and views of this home. As you explore the home you will find the following Amenities.
LIVING AREAS: The home offers two main living rooms with comfortable couches and a 75inch TV. Large custom kitchen table that seats 8, and a formal custom dining room table that seats 12.
SALT WATER AQUARIUM: 600 gallon saltwater aquarium with many types of fish and corals for your viewing pleasure. This is not like any tank you have ever seen.
GAME ROOM : Fully functional game room with 3 full size arcade machines that play many games, a 90inch theater like TV, large comfortable couch, bistro table, 2 adult size bean bag chairs, poker table, pool table, ice hokey, connect 4, foosball table mini fridge, complimentary snacks and ,any family board games to play. This room will surly keep kids and adults entertained throughout your stay.
Outside: Screened in lanai with heated salt water pool and spa, and a fenced in backyard. Outside cable TV with plenty of seating for outside dining and lounging overlooking the spreader waterway. 4 kayaks and 5 bicycles are offered ( must sign wavier).Out side grilling area with a gas grill, custom pizza oven( reserved for 1 month stay operated by property manager) and a 14+ person oversized picnic table perfect for outside gatherings underneath Edison Lights.
Plenty of room to sunbathe on 85 ft long dock with lounging chairs. If you enjoy fishing no need to go anywhere but on this dock being that there are plenty of fish here, you will see them jumping out the water.
BACK YARD FISHING:
The fishing here is for the beginner and the advance fisherman, Eagle's Nest is located on a direct access canal that flows to the Gulf of Mexico. The reason why fishing is so spectacular is because of the Spreader canal. The Spreader backs up to a preserves that is protected along with the wildlife and the preserve will never be built on. Eagle's Nest is amazingly positioned behind Matlacha and Pine Island. While on the third floor of Eagle's Nest you can see the Lighthouse of Matlacha. Many fish, crabs and all sorts of wildlife travel through the streams of Matlacha and Pine Island Sound to the Spreader of the canal. Manatees and Dolphins come to the canal from the Gulf of Mexico. When your fishing you can expect an amazing experience using light tackle and a simple kayak. Fish that have been caught at our residence, to name a few, are Tarpon, Red Fish, Red Snapper, Sheep Head, Mullet, Brim, Black Drum, Snook. There are even freshwater water fish that have adapted like alligator gar, fresh water Bass, Speckled Sea Trout, African Milled Sickled to name few.

Catch the Sunrise or the Sunset whatever is your fancy, it will surly be breathtaking. Eagle's Nest will not only capture nature you will see, but all of the waterways of Pine Island Sound and Matlacha. This is a special sighting and is only possible because of the homes 3 Story Elevation. Yoga mats are included, TV, and a comfortable couch.
Attractions: Eagle's Nest is conveniently located next to Veteran's Parkway which is easy access to I-75, Fort Myers Airport, and all major attractions. Starbucks, Belk, Ice Cream Club, Keg and Cow Burgers and Pizza, Paradise Deli and Grill (Excellent Prime Rib) Spa Paradise by Nelly(Facials, Massage, Wraps) Farmer's Market fresh produce and vegetables (Every Wednesday)Any Time Fitness (where you can join daily, weekly, monthly etc.)and Dollar Tree. All these shops are walking distance or a short bike ride from Eagle Nest! There are miles and miles of bicycle paths and sidewalks for pedestrians conveniently located right outside of Eagles Nest.

The hosts were amazing with constant responses to questions. Upon arriving to the home we had all information needed for access. The house was extremely clean with great make amenities/goodies. This house can entertain people of all age ranges and the game room was my spot. The oversize bean bag was amazing and as an adult I had an opportunity to feel like a kid while enjoying family time. The location of the home could not be more perfect. I would stay here again hands down. Thank you all for making my family experience memorable.

While the house, location, check in, etc were all pleasant, it was the aftermath of our stay that was shocking and unpleasant. When booking our stay, I was prompted to add accidental insurance. I pondered and then decided to purchase, just in case…. After leaving, while sitting in the airport to fly back home, I receive an email stating there has been a claim for damages through my accidental insurance policy. This claim was for over 5k. I was shocked and felt taken advantage of. I felt the owners took advantage of the fact that there was insurance and made false claims of damage. Seriously, claiming a new oven was needed, a new BBQ was needed, a games table needed to be replaced, all carpets were stained etc…. These claims were outlandish. I felt taken advantage of and would NOT recommend staying here to anyone due to just that.

Our group of family and friends loved this house and it fit our needs perfectly. Everything was as advertised and there was plenty of room for everyone. We were able to bring our fishing kayaks and caught snook, redfish, and even hooked a juvenile tarpon in the canal even though we didn’t have the best tides. Would definitely do this again in the future.

The location is fantastic, close to everything and quick trips to Ft. Myers and Care Coral beaches.
The water view if stunning, especially from the Eagles Nest (my favorite room in the house.) We loved having 4 kayaks, we needed that with our families and it allowed for us to enjoy more activity together.
The game room was a hit for time away from the sun.
We cooked meals every day in the kitchen and grille. We had plenty of paper products throughout our stay not inly in the kitchen but bathrooms. This is a nice touch.
We had snacks and waters provided, along with coffee and all the spices we needed. They also have foil, saran wrap, and wax paper.
Plenty of towels both bath and beach along with beach chairs, cart, and umbrellas.
We fished a lot (mostly got catfish) and added some stuff to the tacklebox.
The master bath is really nice. Be careful with the glass door it hits the tile, we let the owner know perhaps a rubber guard on that section will help. Nothing happened to it, but I worry it could in the future. Beautiful view though from the two person shower.
The master bed and guest bed attached to the master bath both have beds that are really, really high. I mean HIGH. They do have stairs to get into it though if you need. I didn't mind because I could see the trees from the tall windows.
We really enjoyed our time and getting to know the neighbor who was friendly, you don't always have this so it was nice.

Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay at Eagle’s Nest. The home was clean, well-appointed with items we needed, and had many favorite spaces for our family. We have two teens and two four-year olds and they all enjoyed the game room and pool. The adults enjoyed fishing off the dock, kayaking on the canal, and the many different gatherings spaces - both indoors and outdoors - that the property offered. The sunsets from the dock are spectacular. The property host (Latoya) is responsive, communicative and very nice. We’ve stayed at many VRBO properties but have loved this one the most. It’s so peaceful to have the property abut a nature preserve.

We had a wonderful time at the Eagle Nest. The home was very clean and wonderfully stocked with bottled water, snacks and paper products. It’s was so peaceful to look at the river and the nature preserve on the other side. I don’t know what was our favorite, the 8 ft bean bag or the spa. I’m sure we will be back.

My sister's family with teens, my elderly dad, and I stayed here for Christmas and we loved it! The movie room and the fish tank were huge hits! Hot tub heats fast, pool is warm and wonderful, you can't beat the quiet mangrove view from the 3rd floor crow's nest reading room. Close to everything and attentive property management! You'll love this place 💕

Our family had a great time together at this home. The game room was fun for everyone. We played card games together, air hockey, ping pong and more. The view from the third floor was beautiful. Some of our family made use of the kayaks and explored the nearby areas where they saw lots of fish and turtles. We fished from the dock. The home was very clean. The host went above and beyond for us. They were always available throughout our stay. Lots of restaurants are nearby. I would recommend this home.

This property is beautiful and met all of our needs during our family/my birthday vacation. They surprised me with birthday balloons and had many unexpected amenities for us to use. This made our stay so much more pleasant.
The property is very clean and has clear instructions on how to use the pool and the lights throughout. It was nice to see that there was snacks included in the game room, cleaning supplies, pool toys/floats, and kayaks were ready to use.
I highly recommend this property if you want a getaway. You don’t have to leave the house for much. The property contact Latoya, was very attentive and was in contact with me through out my stay.

The property has something for everyone. We were a group of 8 from 19-70. A little something for everyone. The garage/game room was loved by all and used a lot, love the bonus of water and snacks. Very spacious and clean, exactly as shown as described. The top floor has great views and even more beautiful sunset view.

Over all we enjoyed our stay. It was spacious and quiet. I do have to say something about the over all cleanliness of some things. The carpets in the master bedroom smelled like dog. Some of the bedding smelled like it had not been washed. The pillows and throw blanket on the couch in the livingroom needed cleaning, they had an odor. Lower bathroom toilet was dirty and the kitchen counters needed to be scrubbed. We made it work though. Was not expecting this especially for such a high dollar paid to stay.

What an amazing location!! I have become numb to house photos due to deceptive perspective of wide angle lens, but this house, Eagles Nest, exceeds the photograph s. We did not use the lower right side of the house. Our family loved spending time in the pool and along the deck. It was so peaceful and serene. The game room put my kids over the top. If they were not sure in the pool, they were in the game room. The bedrooms were so spacious and comfortable. The host has a great house, with a location that is better than advertised, and it was perfect for our family gathering.

The property is amazing, we had a wonderful vacation here. We caught fish right off the dock. Chuck came over and cooked up the pizza party, and it was amazing they supplied all the ingredients and Chuck provided some restaurant quality pizza. The house was stocked with a lot of little things, like the game room snacks and waters. The house was fully stocked for cooking whatever you want. The pool area is great, the family spent a lot of time in the pool. The gulf is about a 45 min boat ride along the mangroves and mansion’s. Great vacation we will be back. Thanks guys!!

5 stars across the board, the Eagles Nest exceeded all of our expectations! We stayed with our family of 7 over Spring Break and absolutely loved the location and all amenities of this property. The pool/hot tub, dock, kayaks, bikes, game room, fish tank and TVs gave us all something to enjoy, whatever we were in the mood for. It totally felt like home and we were able to enjoy the Florida sun! All of the furniture was also top notch. The beds were all great and there were so many different living areas with very comfortable couches. The host (Latoya) and property manager (Chuck) also were wonderful to work with, excellent communication and so helpful leading up to and through out our stay. We would love to stay here again in the future!

Glad to give a review. We stay a a lot of VRBO properties as we travel a few times a year. Most places we stay at come close to what the pics look like and what the description says but always something off. THIS PLACE takes the prize by far, fish jumping out of the water, amazing sunsets, beautiful pool (salt water I might add), it was so clean, every pot, pan, utensil you need, grill was big, outdoor seating by the pools, plenty of chairs to sit. Felt private.. Mornings are awesome sitting outside on the deck area. THE BEDS were the best beds I have ever slept in. When we stay at other properties the beds are ok at best. The house felt like a key west style house, all the pics inside made it feel like Florida. There is a huge salt water tank, it's the coolest thing ever. Oh, throw your fishing rod in the water in the am or evening and you WILL catch dinner. Tons of room the fridge it's Big, and the game room was totally awesome, I mean we had ping pong battles, pool and air hockey and card games at night. The TV is is like 80 inches and there are old school videos games that were awesome. Man did it keep the kids busy, between the pool and the game room, totally out of our hair :-).. If you go to the top floor the sunset is awesome. The master bedroom shower is big with two shower heads which my wife and me love. Separate baths for other rooms. We loved the Kaiaks and the bikes. And it is just a few miles from good restaurants and a good deli for sandwiches and Starbucks etc. Publix right up the road for groceries. A++ for this one..
