Nice stay and very helpful staff

The staff was really nice and very helpful with everything, breakfast and dinner were very filling and delicious, the rooms were just like the pictures very new and super comfortable, they have an incredible view of the mountains which just makes the stay incredible.

just keep in mind that the hotel is still under construction, some areas are still unfinished wich are not showed on the website or on their ig, so during our stay you could hear construction noises in the morning so just mind that until they finish. the rooms are finished and very nice.

No electricity or wifi, unhelpful staff. Charged full price despite having to leave early because of amenities not being

Good views and food was delicious

- No wifi or very weak, basically unusable Because of this we had to leave early, but they still charged us full price! - No electricity for most of our time there, they moved us to another room and still had issues. We were intending to work remotely and couldn’t because of this. Lights would randomly turn on and off even during the night. - Staff was aware of this but didn’t help - Breakfast not included in price unless you pay cash The fact that we were charged for 3 days despite only staying 2 is unacceptable. The owner accepted this when I reached out to them after leaving, but there has been no refund towards us! Would not recommend staying here

Overall, good experience

Wonderful location with a stunning mountain view. Hotel is very modern and the rooms were spacious, staff were very friendly and willing to help, and food was delicious, especially the breakfast, not to be missed. Loved the fires 🔥 during the evenings. It creates a magical atmosphere.

The hotel was still under construction, at least parts of it; probably not entirely ready for guests. Also the thunderstorm caused the electricity to go off in our room. We were eventually transferred to a different room, a duplex this time, better than the one we had, but it took a little longer than we would have wanted for the transfer to happen. Occasionally, hot water would play up. There was no air con and no TV. Finally, I would like to mention that the toilets don't have doors but just curtains and transparent glass. I don't think many people would be keen on that. 🤣 Though, overall, we had a good experience.

Avoid this place before they finish their construction

Location and Potential The location of Thethi Hotel is simply sublime. Nestled in a picturesque setting, the hotel has enormous potential due to its enchanting surroundings and natural beauty. Unfortunately, this is where the positives of my stay ends.

State of the Premises Upon arrival, I was struck by the pervasive state of construction throughout the hotel. Everywhere I looked, ongoing works marred the experience. There were no signs indicating the reception, parking, or general directions, making navigation around the hotel extremely difficult and frustrating. Disappointing Room We had booked a deluxe double room, but to our great disappointment, we were accommodated in a basic room without windows. At the first we thought we were at an wrong hotel. The lack of natural light was oppressive, and there wasn't even a bedside lamp to compensate. Additionally, the bathroom was extremely damp, making the stay even more unpleasant. And there were no blinds against the sun in the morning... Welcome and Service The welcome was far from warm. The person who received us seemed unmotivated and disinterested. He led us through the garden door to access our room without indicating the main entrance of the building. This situation created a huge problem when we went out in the evening. Upon returning to the hotel, we searched for a long time to find the entrance, as the garden door was locked from the inside. Dining Dinner at the hotel restaurant was another disappointment. No one seemed to know the menu, and the prices were exorbitant for the region: 20€ per person for a soup, a piece of meat, and some potatoes. A completely unbalanced value for money. Complaint and Customer Service When we reported that the room did not match our reservation, the staff simply replied that they couldn't do anything for us. Moreover, their communication was so inaudible that it was difficult to understand their responses. Conclusion In conclusion, while Thethi Hotel is situated in a beautiful location and has undeniable potential, the deplorable service and current state of the premises make it a place to avoid.

A must visit in Albania!

We had an amazing experience. The staff was incredible, going above and beyond to meet every request. They shared a lot about Albanian culture, which we loved. The food was fantastic, offering a true local experience. The views were breathtaking, with the hotel surrounded by nature and mountains. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Albania.

Wird sicherlich eine wunderschöne Oase, wenn alles fertig ist. Derzeit noch Baustelle mit Lärm und Dreck. Aber nicht so

Super herzliche Mitarbeiter. Aussicht grandios.

Man konnte vorher nicht so wirklich erkennen, dass alles noch Baustelle ist. Verbunden mit Lärm und Baustellendreck. Auch in den Zimmern und alles eben noch nicht ganz fertig. Auch gibt es keinen eigenen Balkon.

Futura joya en theth

Las vistas del hotel son espectaculares y las habitaciones con muy buen gusto. Personal muy atento y agradable. Calidad precio excelente ahora que aún no está acabado. Volvería a repetir la experiencia sin ninguna duda y me encantaría volver para verlo terminado.

El hotel está aún en construcción por lo que el acceso es complicado por un carril sin asfaltar (creo que casi todos los hoteles en theth tienen un acceso parecido). Con un coche normal se llega bien pero apartado del pueblo si no tienes vehículo propio. Nos alojamos en la suite y podrían poner una cortina en la puerta puesto que pasan personas por delante y no hay manera de conseguir completa intimidad en la habitación por el cristal de la puerta. Algunos detalles aún no acaban de funcionar como la luz del baño.

A lot of potential but overall quite stressful and amateur.

I thought the rooms were nice and the staff well intentioned. After our complaints they went some of the distance to rectifying the issues. Breakfast is very good.

When we turned up the lights were not working in our room and there was dust everywhere. We had to use torches to go to the toilet. The hotel is understaffed and under construction. The construction work is very noisy and the staff all seem quite stressed. Overall, this hotel isn’t really ready to be open and we didn’t enjoy our stay.

Delusione a causa di foto che nascondono che l’hotel è ancora un cantiere

Letto comodo, stanza spaziosa, finestre enormi bellissime, gradite anche le ciabattine. Personale gentile.

Poca attenzione a tanti particolari: non c’era spazio nel bagno per appoggiare un beauty-case ne gli asciugamani, la persiana era rotta, non c’era un frigo. Paesaggio bello, peccato che dalle foto non si capiva che l’hotel era ancora in costruzione e il cantiere stonava molto con il luogo. La colazione è stata una gran delusione: c’è un prezzo fisso ma non è buffet, quindi non puoi scegliere cosa mangiare. Per 10€ ti servono un po’ di pomodoro, cetrioli, marmellata, burro, pane e latte. Avevo chiesto se c’era qualcosa di dolce e mi hanno assicurato che c’erano tanti biscotti turchi buonissimi. Hanno portato 4 biscotti con un sapore davvero strano quindi purtroppo non sono riuscita a mangiarli. Dopo 10-15 min hanno portato un piatto di frutta. Anche se troppo in ritardo, ho gradito che ci fossero altre cose “dolci”; purtroppo anche là delusione: melone con sapore di cetriolo, e altra frutta davvero acerba e acida. L’unica cosa buonissima: le ciliegie.

Geweldige ervaring op een unieke plek.

De enorme gastvrijheid van de eigenaresse, haar familie en het personeel. Het hotel is nog in aanbouw, maar wat er klaar is ziet er fantastisch uit. Als dit hotel af is wordt het fenomenaal!

Schöne Lage aber weit weg von Theth

Tolles Zimmer mit großem zusätzlichen Wohnbereich . Lage weit über Theth mit toller Sicht.

Weit ab vom Zentrum sodass wir im Hotel Abendessen mussten, Essen war Super aber nicht gerade preisgünstig. Anfahrt zum Hotel abenteuerlich.

Amazing place

Amazing place! Great location, incredible view! The room was very clean, spacious and modern. Attention to detail was impressive. The included breakfast was filling and of high quality food. Some parts of the hotel were under construction but that didn’t interfere with our stay at all. We still enjoyed the stay and the beautiful nature of Theth. We will definitely be back!

Csodálatos lokáció, igyekvő, kedves kiszolgálás, jó ételek, szuper szobák, amikhez külön nappali is

Fantasztikus elhelyezkedés és látvány az Albán Alpokra! Még épül a szálloda ( a wellness rész és uszoda) , ami egy csoda lesz (már most is az) de semmi nem volt zavaró. Nagyon kedves , szolgálatkész személyzet, isteni finom vacsora. Kértünk a túrára ebédet és nagyon kedvesen elkészítették házisajtból. A reggelit a teraszon fogyasztottuk el (sajtok, helyi édességek, finom lekvárok, tojás) , lábunk előtt az Alpok. Tényleg csodás élmény volt, hát még a Theth Valbona hágó túra :) Köszönjük az élményt és sok sikert kívánunk !

Entspannter Aufenthalt, familiäre Atmosphäre, schöner Ausblick

Super freundliches und kommunikatives Personal. Alles wirkte sehr familiär und entspannt. Sowohl das Frühstück als auch das Abendessen waren sehr lecker. Das Hotel befindet sich aktuell teilweise noch im Aufbau, was uns jedoch nicht gestört hat. Zimmer und Ausblick waren schön.

Dass es teilweise noch nicht fertig ist aber wie erwähnt, hat es uns nicht wirklich gestört und auch nicht beeinträchtigt.

A good stay in a hotel under construction

Breakfast and dinner were delicious. The rooms were big and comfortable. The staff were very kind and helpful. The view from the rooms and the hall is amazing.

Everything is under construction. It was even hard to find the entrance. We think it'll be a lovely place but once it's finished, currently there are many things not ready yet. That's why we think it's too expensive. It's far away so if you don't have a car it's a bit complicated to go to Theth downtown (like 1 hour of walking). Anyway, many times the owner offered to give us a lift.

Had an incredible time at Hotel Thethi! Remarkable hospitality by Mrs. Rajmonda, Mr. Gjon, and team. The rooms were superb, attention to detail was impressive. The traditional food was a delight, and the view was breathtaking. Highly recommended for an unforgettable experience.

A high end hotel with a guesthouse feel

My girlfriend and I stayed here for two nights while visiting Theth. We had a wonderful time. The family who run the hotel are really genuine, lovely people and could not have done more to make us feel welcome. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious (figs and cheese on bread for breakfast, and the local wine, were particular highlights). The hotel, which is set in a national park, also has the most amazing view over the mountains that I have ever seen - you could sit on the restaurant terrace for hours. The room was very clean and comfortable and the bathroom was nice. The hotel (like a number of other hotels) is slightly further away from the main part of Theth (although it is still walkable), but it is absolutely worth it. It was like staying in a high end hotel with a guesthouse feel. I will definitely be recommending this place to friends.
