Beyond expectations, this B&B is a must for those travelling to Maryborough or stopping en route.

Breakfast was exceptional. Various cereals, variety of fruit, different types of bread for toast, pastries, juice, pod coffee as well as varieties of other coffees, endless and delicious choice. The room and the whole B&B was simply wonderful. The attention to detail with antiques and specialty touches was beautiful. Such a pleasure to spend time there and admire the pieces from the past. Wendy was a perfect host with a rare talent for making you feel like family. Just a perfect stay.

Hidden Gem - worth the visit

The host (Heather) was amazing and accommodating. Very Friendly. Loved how breakfast was already set up in the morning and just waiting for me. Able to make tea and coffee all day - thanks!. Bed soooo comfortable and the linen as well (loved to know where you bought it from). Super quiet from road noise and a great location whilst in Maryborough with easy access to amenities. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back. Has a cute library where you can sit and read a book as well if so inclined. The room had a small balcony to the side which was lovely to sit and drink a quiet cup of tea.

This place is amazing! There is nothing that I would do to improve the experience.

Fabulous place!

Can't say enough about how great my stay was. The home is beautiful. You have access to the whole front of the house's living area, including a lounge, library and dining room. It is so peaceful, friendly, and homely and the breakfast was so generous, served in the lovely dining room.(see photos). I can't remember ever feeling so 'at home' away from home!

Lovingly decorated by owner. Attention to detail and spotlessly clean. Lovely, helpful and friendly hosts. Good choices for breakfast. Great communication. Comfortable bed. Just all round a really awesome place to stay. Would stay again.

A lovely stay!

Thank you Heather for a lovely stay. Your home presents beautifully with an excellent choice of furnishings & finishes. You could not have been more accommodating in your sourcing of vegan foods & your cheerful willingness to share your kitchen with me. Your breakfast was delicious. We have stayed in many B & Bs over the years & yours rates up there with the very best of them. Thank you for welcoming us into your home & all the very best to you & your mum Wendy in this venture.

What a delightful experience. Everything exceeded our expectations. History revived, Wendy has done a fabulous job restoring 'The Old Station Masters House'. Wendy's was warm, welcoming, and very friendly. The continental breakfast was delicious and very satisfying. Wendy went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. Highly recommended 👌

Stunning historic accommodation

Wendy was a fantastic host. She was attentive and happy to chat with us about the renovation of the property. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room/bathroom spotless. I had mentioned that we were both vegan and plenty of vegan options were offered for the breakfast as well as little vegan snacks. We have never had that before! Warm and extremely comfortable accommodation.

We have now found our Maryborough haven as everything at the Old Station Masters House is superb. The care that our beautiful host Wendy puts in to ensuring her guests have everything they need is incredible. We could not fault our stay and only wished we could have stayed longer. The bed was so comfortable and our breakfast was delicious. Thank you for everything, Wendy....we'll see you again very soon xxx

Would stay in Maryborough again if for no other reason than to enjoy this warm, friendly and generous spirited accommoda

The exceptional hostess, Wendy. The warmth of the place, the generous spaces available; living room, library and kitchen. The attention to detail, the breakfast offering. All in all, the best version of a top notch bed and breakfast experience.

I can’t wait to come back and stay again. The Station Masters House is just perfect.

this beautiful little gem was right in the heart of Maryborough. Wendy has made this place a home away from home. Every little detail has been thought of and everything was exceptionally clean. The continental breakfast options each morning supplied by Wendy were wonderful.

Everything was just wonderful. I recommend everyone who is visiting Marybourgh to book The Old Station Master house. You will be transported back in time. Wendy was a great host. Breakfast was the best. Highly recommended 10/10.

Superb

The proprietor, Wendy, was very hospitable and helpful. Great to have a yarn with. The house is a genuine piece of Queensland and Queensland railway heritage that she is restoring and doing a wonderful job.

The restoration of the house at June 2023 was still a work in progress and because of its vintage has a few odd details that would be annoying over an extended period but OK for a short stay.

Wendy is a very caring and friendly host. She ensured we had a very comfortable stay

Great choices for breakfast. This included cereals, yoghurt, fruit and milks.Different breads and spreads for toast plus a big bowl of fresh fruit.

Perhaps a small fridge in the suite would be beneficial to store personal water bottles etc

Great home, and great host, would certainly stay again.

Beautifully Restored Period property with all of the modern amenities needed but in keeping with the traditional theme. Great host, plenty of room to relax or work.

A little hard to identify at first as there was no signage.

The perfect base to explore Maryborough.

A beautiful heritage building in the heart of Maryborough. The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet and the lounge and library were lovely. The host, Wendy, is very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is also great.

We liked everything about the property.
