Blisko centrum. Personel bardzo dobrze zna angielski

Hotel nie był przygotowany na nasz przyjazd, nie sprawdził wcześniej rezerwacji, więc czekaliśmy pół.godziny na sprzątnięcie naszego pokoju. Niestety wszystko widzieliśmy i nie było to dokładne sprzątanie..łazienka bardzo brudna. Pani też policzyła nam po zawyżonym kursie cenę za hotel. Przeciętny.

Nous avons passé un bon moment dans cette auberge, malgré les salles de bain un peu glauque

Le personnel est vraiment sympa et prêt à aider !

En soit il n’y a pas de problème de propreté. Tout est propre néanmoins, les salles de bain ne sont pas très agréable

A lovely place minus an avoidable bad experience

The staff were really friendly and the place had a lovely ambience.

Hoping this isn't a regular thing, but after an evening of exploring Galle, I came back to find another guy on my bed, even though my suitcase was right next to the bed. The hostel had overbooked, and there was a major fiasco where they had to push a spare bed (which was usually in the hall) into one of the rooms, which upset the people already in there, as now they had to walk around me to get out of the room. It got very congested. And the air conditioning was too cold, so hardly got sleep.

I wouldn’t recommend.

The host was friendly and helpful. The private room had aircon which worked well and was essential.

The overall property was run down and dirty. It needs a deep clean, re-painting and remove the mold and old furniture lying about. The shared bathrooms were disgusting and often not clean and barely had toilet paper which is such a simple need. We booked a private room with the ‘balcony’ however this space was often used by other guests meaning we could hear everything and there was no peace. Despite the host putting a sign up on the last night of our stay, people didn’t listen and it was still used so I’d suggest the premium for the ‘balcony’ room be removed. I understand why other guests used this as there really is no communal space. Downstairs is where the family sit and watch TV or look after their child so it is uncomfortable. More needs to be done to accommodate for the ‘backpacker’ as this is their clientele. I would definitely not stay again nor would I recommend to others! It is probably the worst accommodation we have stayed for the whole 7 months we have backpacked Asia.

갈레 중심가에서 멀지 않습니다. 버스 터미널과도 가까운 거리니 걸어서 충분히 이동 가능합니다. 매니저는 친절하고 버스 시간에 대해 잘 알고 있습니다. 우리는 도움을 받았고 여행에 많은 도움이 되었습니다. 냉장고도 이용 가능하고 방에서 편안하게 시간을 보낼 수 있었습니다.

방 바로 옾에 테이블이 있다보니 사람들의 목소리가 들리기도 했고, 이동 간 불편하기도 했습니다. 이 부분만 개선되면 가성비 괜찮은 숙소란 생각이 듭니다.

Overall an amazing place to stay, would highly recommend especially if you want to be in a more quiet location but still

Super nice staff, very welcoming and helpful. We had our own room which was nice for some privacy. We were provided with towels, and there was also a washing service available. Very good family vibes!!!

We were staying in a non-AC room so in got quite warm during the night. Also, there was rarely toilet paper available.

Love the hosts and would recommend to anyone looking for friendly, budget option

The staff are the best - so friendly and lovely! They did a wonderful job juggling so many requests as well as chatting and making us feel welcome. The sri lankan breakfast was great, and the warm shower was appreciated

The rooms and facilities are a little basic and not modern but I still think it's great value for money and would 100% recommend

Warm hearted owners, great location. Perfect for a short stay.

Staff is super friendly and helpful with all kinds of things. The location is great. Relatively quiet but still close to the center and Dutch Ford.

Rooms are super simple but was too expected for that kind of money. Still super good value for money ratio.

В целом номер был чистый, ничего особенного конечно, маленькая комната, есть кондиционер это порадовало

Во первых не понравилось, что номер бронировали с балконом, а балкон оказался общим, по итогу там было куча народу всегда, так что туда я даже не выходил. Ванная комната и туалет были вне номера, что тоже не очень удобно.

Cheap accommodation with great breakfast

The ladies at the reception were great! Awesome Sri Lankan breakfast! Near the bus and train stations.

Needs little bit more cleaning and some curtains in the room, it’s too bright too early!

Cheap.

They offer double room with balcony & bathroom, without specifying that those 2 are shared with the rest of the rooms. The location is not the best, not far from the railway station (barking dogs on the way), but still in a separated area from the “modern town”.

Amazing staff the owners of the hostel are so attentive and kind helping with so many things whilst I was staying there, gorgeous location tucked into a small section of jungle but yet so close to the centre, you can enjoy your morning tea with a lovely view and then easily stroll into the fort ! Would 100% stay again!

Relaxed vacation

Staff is so friendly.it’s totally guest house, we can talk with guest families and another clients. If u like nature, u can see animals monkeys or birds around property.

It’s not so good net work on the 2nd floor. If u want to see instagram and Facebook, u should go down 1st floor.

The Hostel is just 10min walk from the Fort. The owners are really friendly and always eager to help or have a nice chat on the balcony! Rooms have AC which is necessary! And places to hang your laundry.

Great place to stay when in Galle!

The two sisters who were running it were very friendly and welcoming. I stayed in one of the private rooms, the bed was very comfortable and with air conditioning. The location was just a short walk to Galle Fort. You could use the kitchen and fridge which was handy and the water was drinkable for refills. They also had a little balcony with comfy seating which was a nice touch. The shower was powerful with hot and cold water with space to hang your clothes and towel. Great for one or two nights while in Galle!

A few minor things that can easily be sorted or could just be preference, but a small mirror in the room, a rubbish bin and curtains for the window would be great. The bathroom was shared between most of the rooms and I could imagine that being very busy although it was just me and one other staying there at the time so was fine. It could be a little cleaner, not just on the floor but the walls and shelves from gecko droppings. Not sure what can be done about this but unfortunately there were a few dogs just outside that barked all night. I’m quite a light sleeper so it did disturb me. Not sure if they have owners - maybe they could be kept inside during the night. Nothing much I didn’t like, it was a perfectly pleasant one night stay.

I think for this price it’s hard to find anything comparable that is clean, close to the Fort and nice.

Loved the friendliness and the hospitality! You can reach Galle Fort by foot and there are many shops and restaurants around. The room and the washroom were clean.

I cannot say a lot about the vibe of the hostel because I went in off-season so I was the only one in my room.

It's a verry nice Hostel. Good value for money. The host is great! I injured my foot and she helped me by bringin some ice and telling me which hospital to go to. Really helpfull!

Awesome rooms, super clean, staff are honestly amazing! The hostel has a super sociable vibe, and there’s different tours organised too. Absolutely loved my stay!
