Bed was comfy

Unhappy - we were not greeted at the door with a welcome tour so felt bad about using kitchen. Even if we wanted to make a cuppa they said you weren't allowed to take the tea to your room but had to drink it in the kitchen! There were so many mats to cover the new carpet that it was a trip hazard. In our room you had to roll a mat under a chair so the door would close! There was no towel in the toilet to dry our hands or mouth on but found the towels the next morning in the cupboard! There were books and stationary on the shelves which made it feel like you were staying in someone else's bedroom! They said there was a jacuzzi hot tub but it is just a bath with jets! The bedroom door was dirty, the sink was dirty, the headboard was stained! The towel rail, the light switch and the mirror had been painted on! We did contact them but they disagreed with what I said, even though I had photographic evidence!

Stay was fine for me but I couldn't say it would suit everyone depending on their expectations.

Location was perfect for Cardiff city ctr visit. The accommodation is literally a room in a house, sharing the main bathroom and a modest kitchen with any other guests staying.

Could have done with an area to sit/relax with people I had travelled with. A t.v. would have maybe been nice.

Superb

Very welcoming clean and comfortable. Close to station short walk of 5 mins then can get a train into Cardiff Central.

Late night talking by the host family downstairs. Ear plugs helped with this though.

It was great

We really enjoyed our stay at lakeside drive. We were warmly welcomed by the couple. Our room was quite cozy and overall it was worth the money. Just a suggestion, there should be a small mirror in the room.

Comfy bed

Advertised private bathroom, it's not, toilet door didn't lock, multiple pairs of shoes for bathroom and kitchen. Electrics wires inserted straight into plug socket? Very dangerous as also adapter connected to adapter. Dirty. Shared kitchen awful.hair and pubes on bedding . Dead pigeon outside. Advertised hot tub was a grotty bathI would of left if I had anywhere else to go and 10 pound would of been an acceptable price. However feel bad for writing as hosts were quite nice.

the bed was extremely comfortable! the people where very attentive and was happy to help with any questions I had

there was no tv in the room but was aloud to watch tv in the main room downstairs, and no tea and coffee making facilities in the room

the facilities was good

about the owners, its a house so at the first their welcoming way was not good. the wife was like commanding everything. we need to use their chappels for using bathroom as well as kitchen. parties and alcohols are prohibited and we planned a birthday party and that was ruined because of this. chappels we have to use different in kitchen and bathroom. they are giving their used sandals and bathroom lotions.apart from that they are using same toilets that we used for shower as well.all over only room and cleanliness was good .
