Definitely would stay again walk the pathway to town though. - a lot easier than the stairs.

Beautiful room with great views and balcony. Walkable to the beach at the bottom- take your thongs though as it’s a rocky beach.

The view from our room was gorgeous! I loved how everything was light and bright and matched the feel of Positano! It was a great cost for a central location, a cute room, an excellent included breakfast, and great customer service.

Superb

The staff at the accommodation were extremely helpful and kind. The room was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked very well. There was a lovely outside seating area with stunning views of Positano and the Mediterranean. Excellent choice for breakfast and again, stunning views of the coast from their balcony. Would definitely recommend!

Near best beach!

Location was perfect and staff went over and above to help us with anything we needed. Easy spot for our shuttle to drop us off at. Beautiful room, nice breakfast and private terrace.

Positano is a must see destination and this is a great place to see it

The staff, The room and outdoor patio, the breakfast, The view. Loved everything about the place. The communication before and during our stay.

A little bit dated but very clean and well serviced. We were in the annexe and it’s a little bit away from main building but not a concern. A lot of steps but that’s Positano

Hotel Guadagno is a homey and beautiful place to live your Italian dream.

This historic hotel gave us everything we could have wanted during our stay in Positano. The hotel had a beautiful view of the Mediterranean and offered us a comfortable place to wind down after our lengthy stay in Italy.

Beds were a bit dated, but we didn't mind much.

Beautiful views, amazing staff and your own beach!

Beautiful location and is only 10 minute walk away from a smaller private beach, which everyone says is a hidden gem. Definitely recommend this hotel! rooms were amazing, we had a lovely view of the coast. Breakfast was perfect! we only stayed 1 night but it was perfect for us as it was a surprise for my partner's birthday!

Good location, great views from breakfast balcony but not a warm welcoming service

Staff allowed a slightly earlier check-in which was good. Location was fairly good and property was clean and good breakfast with great views.

Not an overly warm welcome. After check-in I was walked to a totally different property quite a few steps away which I hadn't been expecting. It still had sea views but less impressive than what I felt had been sold. 2 hours after checking in I was messaged reminding of check-out and asking me to ensure I had plans to leave on time. It felt unfriendly and like they were rushing me to move on to bring someone else into the property.

Fantastic family run hotel in perfect location!

My husband and I have stayed at Casa Guadagno during our honeymoon in Positano. It's a small family run 'pensione' in Fornillo quarter of the town. It's closer to the smaller Fornillo Beach (it's about 360 steps down) which we preferred as the main Positano beach was just too busy to relax. We really loved our room with a private terrace with a great view. The hotel staff were wonderful too. They welcomed us like old friends. Big thank you to Floriana and Filoteo for looking after us. Casa Guadagno was our home away from Scotland for nearly 3 weeks and we hope to go back soon. We highly recommend booking way ahead of your trip as those rooms will be booked out before you know it!

Beautiful property with charming traditional Italian feel, but smaller and less comfy than desired.

The property has a great location with large verandas overlooking the Amalfi Coast and the sea. It is beautiful! Also, the staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast is served in a nice open area overlooking the sea and there is a decent selection.

The rooms are much smaller than pictured online, and the beds are not comfortable. We had three adult family members with four large pieces of luggage. The room for 3 people would be better for a couple and a small child with limited baggage. I think management should also strongly recommend that anyone arriving by ferry use the porter service. We were debating and fortunately, the porter explained to us the challenge in reaching the property, especially the shorter route with 400 stairs. We would have never been able to navigate the property by foot with all the stairs with our multiple pieces of luggage.

Beautiful location and accommodations. Friendly staff

This was a perfect location for our Positano stay. We had a beautiful view, were directly above the Fornillo Beach and convenient to town. The staff was very accommodating- the breakfast was delightful and the one time we had an issue(power went out briefly) it was resolved quickly. Thank you!
