Cozy and relaxing place to stay in the city of Perugia but immersed in the rural landscape.

The property is not far from the chaos of the city, but perfectly hidden from it all. It is really great to be able to scape the busy roads without travelling far within Perugia. The hosts were gracious and present when needed. The breakfast was very pleasant and the property itself is cozy and characteristic Italian rural architecture. It appears to have been remodelled (at least the areas we visited). Overall it was a great stay, and we would definitely go back.

What could have been better? The pool appeared somewhat unclean around the edges, and the surrounding landscape looked dry and less maintained. However, this is likely due to the exceptionally hot temperatures this summer, which could have made upkeep more challenging. Still this is not a negative point but something that if addressed would level up the experience.

Very restful country location in an old renovated farmhouse.

Breakfast was available and good value. The location was very restful and quiet but still central enough by car to reach the other areas such as Assisi and Perugia that we wanted to access.

Nice setting but stiff-acting lady and the shower was almost totally useless, not recommended.

Nice to live in the suburbs outside Perugia, big garden and our dog could run around and talk to the host's dog. Big pool that was a bit cool though, but i guess thats expected in mid october? So the setting was nice with a view over perugia and surroundings. But see below, other things were not so nice....

Our room was supposed to have a shower in the bathroom....Sure, there was a "shower", if you can call it that. The shower was not really useful, more like a symbolic thing they installed to add "value" to the room. value for the host! Shower was just a hole / alcove in the wall - In the bathroom, but with no shower curtain or anything. Super small shower = I am 185 cm tall and hit my head repeatedly on the shower head and could hardly fit inside the alcove, most of the water splashed all over the bathroom which became super slippery and dangerous. So I would say this shower was just added to trick people into booking a room with private bathroom + shower, but it was a joke. The host tried to act in a friendly manner but she just came across as stiff and stressed. Maybe she was stressed cause their whole garden seemed to host travellers, there were like around? 5 camper vans and the like, plus hotel/hostel guests. They kindof run a little village up there on their hill, seemed well managed enough - but we got the feeling that they're really trying to milk the property for cash income, by squeezing in too many people in the space they have and adding a basically useless shower and then daring to call it a room with shower. Would not stay there again because of this above.

it was a campsite and that was not made clear and I would not have paid for a room at a b&b knowing it was actually a campsite

Amazing stay in Perugia farmhouse

The place had great character with beautiful scenery and views from the room surrounding the farmhouse. Good sized and very clean room and bathroom. The breakfast was delicious with a great selection and fresh cakes which we looked forward to it each day. The staff at Perugia farmhouse were lovely and really helpful which made the stay very easy and enjoyable. We would happily return in future. There were also fab restaurants within a 20 minute walking distance.

Some of the facilities like the pool were not available during this time. The location of the hostel was a bit of the way of bus stops and train stations but taxis were only 15-20 minutes into town.

We enjoyed the generous grounds and the freedom to use them together with other guests and the hosts

The farmhouse is an original rural Tuscan building on a hill with a fantastic view of the mellow landscape and Perugia. The generous pool area is the highlight of the site. The rooms are simple but tasteful and provided with an efficient aor condition. There is a communal kitchen and everything you need. A nice breakfast is provided by the hosts at an outdoor place. There is a bus station nearby to go to Perugia and a supermarket within walking distance. The hosts allow tents to be pitched in the garden and there are horses and chickens on the grounds.
