This beachfront condo just steps from the Gulf waters and is located in the popular Ocean Mile community. Ocean Mile I-9 features stunning views of our Island’s award-winning beaches, comfortable coastal décor, sleeping accommodations for 8, and exclusive community amenities including swimming pools and an amazing location close to the St. George Island State Park! Whether splashing in the surf and searching for shells on the miles and miles of unspoiled sugar sand beaches, exploring the Island by bicycle or paddleboard, or just relaxing by the community pool with a good book and a refreshing beverage, this charming vacation rental property delivers the best of the Forgotten Coast.
Located in the Island’s popular East End neighborhood, Ocean Mile I-9 is close to local shops, restaurants, nightlife, the multi-use path connecting the entire Island, St. George Lighthouse Museum, and fishing pier. Just across the bridge is Eastpoint’s seafood markets and craft brewery, and the eclectic shopping, arts and culinary scene of historic and charming Apalachicola is just 25 minutes away by car!
The exterior of this home offers under-house concrete covered parking, an outdoor shower, and a community grill, and is close to the community pool.
The tiled main level features the open living/dining/kitchen area, a shared bath, a beachfront deck, as well as a bedroom with twin beds and its own small balcony. There are views galore, accentuated by one wall of mirrored glass. Relax on the comfy sofa, which opens into a Queen sleeper, while watching the surf. The well-equipped kitchen has everything needed to prepare beachside feasts, and the 2 bar stools at the kitchen counter and the rectangular dining table that seats 6 provide plenty of seating at mealtime.
The white wicker furniture in the twin bedroom lends an airy beach vibe to the pretty room. The upper level, which is beautifully carpeted, features a laundry area, a shared bathroom, and two bedrooms on each end – one features a queen bed and small deck, while the other is the master bedroom oasis with a vaulted ceiling and king bed, private deck and private bathroom and captivating views from the wall of windows. Step out to the balcony and feel that ocean breeze and look out to the horizon. Beach views don’t get better than this! Read a book or watch the pelicans dive for their dinner. The bathroom features double sinks as well as a tiled shower with a deep tub for relaxing.

This townhome has lots of stairs but is lovely and with a beautiful location. 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, directly on the gulf front, and easy access to beach. Very quiet and private.

Nice vacation condo. End unit. Very close to the beach (you literally have to walk only 100 feet from the back door to put down your chairs). Very clean. Everything worked. GCVP was very helpful/responsive when the internet went down one morning. If I had to make one suggestion I’d say to finish the decking between the parking pad and the back stairs so there would be room to store gear. It’s a small job - if they’d left the wood I would have done it myself one morning. All in all a great property.

Excellent location for all the family! Easy trip to the beach. Easy trip to the pool. Very clean grounds. Great crab hunting. Beautiful sunrises, although our location, it was hard to see sunsets.

The condo was perfect! Usually there is something that needs repair or that's just not right BUT nope everything was wonderful. Clean, updated and just step out onto the sand. Amazing views from both balconies. Just a note tho, there are a good many stairs if you are not physically well. By end of week I was used to them, no problem. This place is large with spacious main bedroom. I would absolutely rent again and use Gulf Coast Vac Properties as well. To sum up, the week was perfect!!

We had an incredible week and enjoyed staying in Ocean Mile I-9! Very clean, with nice beachy feel! Kitchen well stocked and the walk out on the beach was PERFECT!Mckenzie and Tressie were so helpful and responsive in helping us find the perfect place for our “Best Friends” vacation/staycation!We will definitely use Gulf Coast Vacation Properties again soon!
