Our stay at Casa 9 was incredible! We had a group of 19 family members that traveled to Jaco Beach, Costa Rica. Our host, Marcel, arranged everything that we needed, or wanted to do, the food was amazing, the location was perfect, staff was accommodating, Thanks to Marcel and his crew! 5 star service!

Casa9 only place in Jaco to do bachelor party. Marcel and staff did excellent job accommodating our group with excursions shuttles boat day and chef services which was amazing. Everything was run very smoothly and group was pleased with the service. Would recommend to any large group looking for ideal house on beach w full staff.

The photos don't do Casa9 justice - it's so much more beautiful in person. We booked a year in advance for our wedding. Marcel and Geoff were very communicative and helpful. They made everything we envisioned become a reality, plus some!
Only consideration is if you are planning a wedding, ask for the wedding package cost information at the time before you book so you can be clear on the total cost (VRBO venue rental + wedding package).
We will definitely be coming back and couldn't be happier with the entire staff and Casa9.

We had a group of 21 people stay at Casa9 for 7 nights and we wouldn’t have changed anything. The property was perfect for a group our size. Plenty of space “to spread out” as needed, but plenty of space to enjoy each other’s company together. The best part was the staff. Everyone was absolutely amazing. Anything we needed, anytime of day, Marcel was there to assist. He was great in the months/weeks leading up to our stay as well. Ana and her daughter kept all the rooms and common areas clean. They were also extremely nice and accommodating. Finally, the food. Had we known how amazing the food was, we probably would have had every meal there. Chef Mykol was INCREDIBLE!!! We had so many amazing meals. Once again, thank you to this amazing staff and making our stay so memorable.

We stayed for a week with our family of 33 and had a wonderful time. The staff was terrific - concierge Marcel, chef Maikol, housekeeper Anna and their support staff. We had wonderful recommendations and support in arranging excursions. Everything was clean and in good repair. The location was perfect, just across the street from the beach with amazing sunset and ocean views. The trip couldn't have been better.

From renting this property until leaving we had a great experience. Geoff reached out to us which impressed myself and cared about making sure we had a great stay. All of the workers running this place are great and care very much about your stay, they’re very hard working and treat you like family and not another customer. I highly recommend Chef Maycal cooking most of your meals at this property because he’s amazing and every meal he makes it’s like he’s trying to win a award and you’ll never be disappointed from breakfast too dinner 10 stars. Marcel is the best concierge I’ve ever dealt with and he is all about making your vacation the most memorable along with treating you as family, we enjoyed his company so much he felt like he was part of our group. Thank you Geoff for allowing our group to enjoy your property as we will be coming back for sure. For whoever reads this just book this place and stop searching because you won’t find a better place in Jaco from the best spot on the beach to the best customer service you will ever receive. I give this place 10 stars on a 5 star scale.

This property is fantastic! As soon as we booked, we were contacted by the owner and property manager to discuss our stay. We had a group of 23 friends, and everyone enjoyed every minute. Marcel and the entire staff were available and helpful throughout our stay. Marcel helped plan all of our meals, excursions, and everything else we needed. The property was clean & beautiful. The views are amazing! We are already planning our next stay!

The owner reached out personally immediately after booking. He made the process very easy and sent a very detailed email explaining everything the property had to offer. Marcel was also in contact with us and handled every detail for our group from before we got there until the minute we left. The property was amazing, everyone was very happy with the features and cleanliness of the property. Ana had the rooms spotless every day. And the chef was amazing. I don’t think you could get a better meal anywhere in town. We are already planning our return for next year. As an extensive traveler, I have to say this has been my best experience with a property.

This property was BEAUTIFUL, the staff was excellent, the food was so fresh and delish...We had a group of 28 and everyone raved about the vacation. The owners were very helpful, answered any question I had before reserving and gave helpful tips. Marcel, the concierge was the best. Mykol, the chef, I wish he could come to the US and cook for me daily. All who attended talk about how this was the best vacation that they have ever had.

We loved the property amenities, location and staff. Right on the expansive beach, soft sand, with chairs, umbrellas and a tent in grassy area right on beach. Lots of food options for onsite or very nice restaurant 150 yards down the beach. Short walk or cheap taxi to town. Staff was outstanding and helped us in so many ways and with nice extras. Rooms very nice and all well kept and maintained. Recommended tours were excellent. Highly recommend!

This place is legit. I took 18 dudes to Casa 9 for an epic bachelor party; Andres (the manager) and the Casa 9 staff did not disappoint. The place is beautiful, right on the beach, and took care of all of us in every way possible. Very short distance to city center. We enjoyed pool parties and bbqs every day.

I went on a last minute vacation with a friend of mine to Jaco and stayed at Hotel 9. This was one of the best travel experiences I have ever had! The concierge at Hotel 9, Mariana (an angel from heaven), started blowing my mind by setting up an extremely affordable shuttle srevice from the airport in San Jose to the hotel in Jaco. Luis ended up driving us around for many outings and was extremely nice and professional. Mariana had us setup for a great breakfast at the hotel, and since our trip was so last minute, helped us plan all of the activities and meals outside of the hotel. Per Mariana's recommendation, we spent a whole day at a beautiful white sand beach and were taken on a rainforest tour to see wildlife. This was one of the most beautiful and memorable experiences I've ever had! She also recommended hiking trails, restaurants, an everything else we needed. The rest of the staff at hotel 9 were also GREAT and very trustworthy. We felt extremely well taken care of and cannot wait to book another trip! GO HOTEL9!

We booked a last minute trip to Costa Rica for a much needed weekend get away. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by an incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff that was more than happy to accommodate any need we may have. The grounds/pool were beautiful and well kept, and being a stones throw from the water wasn't bad either. The rooms were clean, well decorated, and had nice amenities. They also have a delicious restaurant onsite that was perfect for either a lazy breakfast or a nice dinner with an ocean view. I would absolutely recommend Hotel Nine to any of my friends or family, and will most definitely be back in the future. Also, a big thank you to Mariana at the front desk for helping us to schedule/recommend activities!

We stayed here on the front end of a Costa Rica holiday as part of a larger group that rented out the entire place. I have to admit, when I first heard that we were doing this I thought that it'll never work. But I was wrong. We got the entire property to ourselves!! What I like best (well, there were many things), is that this place is right on the beach, but not the crowded part of the beach near the downtown, so we really had our own slice of heaven right in Jaco.
Those who did the arranging of our trip said that Hotel 9 caters to groups and it was very clear. The service was tops!!
For groups such as family reunion, alum reunion, bachelor/ette parties, this is your place. You will not be disappointed.

This was a vacation that I will never forget, It was a first vacation as a widow. My family invited me and I had the time of my life!! Watching my grandchildren enjoy both the pool, Beach and the incredible surfing. Anna was so kind and good to me. She made a beautiful mothers day bouquet for me in my well taken care of room, Amazing woman!! Marianna was another AMAZING "A+" to your property!!. She arranged all our travel with the best driver Ramon!!Her attention to detail and quick response to our needs were unbelievable!!We LOVED Marianna!! I decided to book here after emailing with the owner Jack and I was super glad I chose this spot. I was looking for accommodations for a large group that was close to the water and nightlife of Jaco, but secluded enough so we could do our own thing if we wanted. The fact that there was on-site staff, restaurant, and bar was a huge plus, and the staff really went above and beyond with the excellent service. This location is beautiful! It is about a 10 minute walk along the beach to the main town area and easily accessible by cab, vans, or bikes if needed. The pictures are accurate and everything was clean (the pool is beautiful). There is a surf school right outside the gate and the instructors are very friendly, and prices also reasonable compared to surf instructors in California. Also the property manager arranged convenient transportation for us to and from San Jose, so not worrying about taking care of that myself was a huge bonus. Thanks Jack!

Costa Rica is a great Country and Jaco is a beautiful beach, but the staff at Hotel Nine is AMAZING. Honestly, they made our stay incredible with their service, hard work, attentiveness, friendliness, etc. They are exceptional in everyway and really take pride in their work. I traveled with 32 people and to a person they all agree the staff was a major factor in our trip being a success and enjoyable. Hotel Nine is located in the perfect spot along the beach, with soft black sand, good surf and enjoyable sunsets daily. If you have a big group, this is the place to go!!!

My friends and I planned a trip at Hotel Nine in Jaco for several birthday celebrations and stayed for 6 days over Memorial weekend. We rented out the entire hotel, and Laura was very communicative with helping plan our trip. She assisted with providing transportation to and from the airport, helped plan excursions for the group, and hired us a DJ for a night time pool party. Marianna was also extremely helpful with facilitating everything during our stay and answering all of our questions. Anything we needed, Marianna was there to help. The staff was also very nice and helpful. Our rooms were cleaned every day, and the food in the hotel restaurant was also very good. The hotel is right on the beach and very close to town. You could walk to town in about 15 minutes, or a cab ride took less than five and was around $3. Overall, our experience at Hotel Nine and at Jaco was amazing and I definitely recommend this hotel, especially for big groups. Thanks for everything Hotel Nine!

We just completed a 4 night stay at Hotel Nine on Jaco Beach for my 50th Birthday party. We rented the entire hotel for the stay, as we filled all the rooms with friends. This was absolutely one of the best vacations ever. The rooms were very nice and clean, and the staff was responsive and attentive to our every need. The location on the beach is gorgeous and somewhat secluded from the hustle and bustle of town, which was very nice.
I would highly recommend a stay at Hotel Nine, and my group of friends plans to make this an annual event. Thank you staff of Hotel Nine for making our trip so memorable!

We booked 11 out of the 14 rooms at the hotel for our destination wedding and had a fantastic stay. Everybody was extremely friendly and accommodating, ready to go out of their way to please us. I have been staying in Jaco for the past 13 years and had the opportunity to experience pretty much every location possible. This year I had the pleasure to stay at this incredible hotel. I brought a large group and we all had the same opinion this will be the place we stay from now on. The staff could not have possibly done more for us, rooms were exceptional, restaurant perfect, front of the house on top of all our needs..poolside was relaxing and clean. The location added the final touches at the end of the beach, quiet..and secure. I would highly recommend a stay here cant wait to return and have already booked 2015..

I had been to Costa Rica once before and my group rented a house close to Hotel 9. That experience was so bad I did not want to return but I am glad I did. The hotel is small enough to have the feel of a large private residence but has all of the accommodations and amenities of a hotel. The hotel manager picked us up at the airport himself and did everything to insure we had an amazing time. The rooms were promptly cleaned and restocked daily. The staff at the restaurant was phenomenal-which you can not say for other places we visited during our trip. From waking up in the morning and grabbing a surf board from the hotels collection to sunset drinks on the beach in front to dinner and drinks at the restaurant Hotel 9 came through at every turn. I rarely if ever write reviews but it is the least I can do to thank the management and staff of this hotel. Hotel 9 made our trip. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Costa Rica.

I have been to Jaco many times and our stay at Hotel 9 was by far the best. Booked the entire hotel for a bachelor party and with the help of the owner Jack and Jessica they made the trip effortless. From setting up transportation to and from San Jose and any excursions we wanted they were more than helpful. The location is great, right on the beach and away from the bustle of the main Jaco strip, but only a quick cheap cab ride away. The staff was fantastic as well as the food at the restaurant. Already planning the next trip back.
