We loved the place except for the street noise and wished that the room was a bit better furnished with kitchen essentia
Loved the size of the room, pool deck, location, security, friendly staff
No dishwasher or microwave, lots of street noise at night. No laundry. Bed could have been a been a queen instead of a double. Sofa bed was uncomfortable. Skimpy on supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, no kitchen towels.

Great lication for short stay. GET AN UPPER UNIT
We stayed in E101 for 10 days in Jan/ Feb for a business trip This was an ok building IF you get an upper floor for a shorter stay Amazing location in the heart of cabo san jose- restaurants, galleries, 30 mins walk to beach New building - new everything- meaning clean and fresh Big spaces for a 1 bed Relatively well equipped 2 bathrooms for a 1 bed Nice rooftop pool terrace Prompt staff text responses I’m in CSJ regularly for business and i would risk trying an upper floor unit next time due to the location and new building.
We were in a ground floor unit which never saw the sun. No exterior space. No privacy. All E and D units are fully exposed to corridor traffic and street/ maintenance traffic meaning you cannot raise the blinds on either side of the apartment. No sunlight makes for a VERY cold and dark stay, especially if you are on a working trip Carpark is directly below and 6 am garbage pickup noise happens twice a week Bed was very small- smaller than a double- but bedding was good. Bed frame was a double Washer / dryer was missing, but hook up was there. No place to hand wet towels or clothes or bathing suits. NO hooks anywhere. We asked for a portable “line” and were told no. Rooftop was nice but pool is not heated and winter nights in the dessert are COLD - meaning the water does not warm during winter months Staff were responsive but i kept getting “ we are not a hotel” reply when asking for additional hangars, clothes line and cleaning services.

terrible experience!!
the only good thing about this property was its location, very convenient and close to the historic center and art district.
1. Shower Issues: Initially, the shower was not working properly. The water temperature fluctuated between extremely hot and cold, and during the three days of our stay, we couldn't take a shower. 2. Reporting the Issue: We noticed this problem on the first evening and reported it to property support. However, we didn't receive any response for 12 hours. 3. Electricity Problem: On the second evening, there was an issue with the electrical system, causing a complete power outage in the entire apartment. We remained without electricity until the next morning, unable to use any facilities such as WiFi and TV. 4. Maintenance Delay: The maintenance team promised to arrive at 8 AM the next day, showed up at 9 AM. They could only fix the electrical problem by 9:30 AM. They informed us that a part of the shower system needed replacement, but unfortunately, they didn't have the required part, leaving us without a working shower until our checkout day. 5.Dirty Towels: Additionally, the towels provided to us were stained with large yellow and black marks. It was nauseating. 6.Summary: In summary, despite expecting a luxurious service for the amount we paid, we couldn't even receive basic services. This experience was far from the quality we anticipated.

Great apartment, some issues
The location of this apartment is great - 2 blocks away from the main town square and on the edge of the Art District. The building security is good and the neighborhood feels safe. Parking is located under the building and is secure. There are many restaurants and tourist shops nearby, and lots of opportunities to stroll in the cool of the evening when the area is very lively. We ate breakfast every day at the excellent French Riviera Bakery & Cafe just a block away. The queen bed was small but very comfortable and the air conditioning was strong - the beach towels were a welcome extra layer on the bed to keep us warm at night. The TV had Netflix, a nice bonus. The shower was very good but it was an adventure to get washed in the short times between too hot and too cold. The Lumina Team and the building engineers promised that the regulator would be replaced. Great balcony and rooftop pool! Some advice: There is nowhere nearby to get groceries by walking, so drive to the local Comer superstore, which is an amazing place to visit. Don't forget to buy Nespresso cartridges if you drink coffee and don't forget a large bottle of water. You can find pretty good information on San Jose del Cabo online. Don't miss the Art Walk on Thursdays! Saturday night is when the whole town turns out to party in the town square with live bands and dancing until the early morning hours.
We had some challenges on our arrival. We strongly recommend you get the WhatsApp app and enter the Lumina Team phone number BEFORE travelling - then you can communicate immediately with them by phone or txt (you will need to!). We were instructed to send our rental car license plate number to the Team in order to get a guaranteed parking space. We used the WiFi at the rental car desk to send it by WhatsApp. The building code numbers are the same for the front door and the garage BUT... the front door code requires # signs both before and after the number, while the garage code does not. This was not clear from the Lumina Team instructions. After 5 p.m there is no one at the front desk to help you and we arrived after they had left. Luckily a cleaning employee came by and showed us how to get into the garage. The WiFi passcode was not in the apartment - we had to go to a local restaurant, get on their WiFi, send a WhatsApp request, and wait. The usual written guidelines - WiFi passcode, where to get groceries, where the nearest beach is, what restaurants are good, etc. were not in the apartment. The kitchen is minimally equipped, not really capable of much cooking. There were only 3 coffee cups, 2 glasses, 3 kitchen knives too dull to cut bread, scissors that were rusted open, and only 2 dishwasher soap pellets for a whole week. We hand washed a lot of glasses. The only cooking items were salt, cooking oil, and 3 capsules of Nespresso coffee. The Nespresso machine stopped working at some point so we ended up making cowboy coffee in the morning. Only one dish towel, no washcloths. The problem with the shower is mentioned above. This is a lovely VRBO with great potential but it needs some serious attention from the Lumina Team in order to be first class. Especially, the client communications need to be upgraded. Not every American uses WhatsApp.
