Funky fun hotel right in the river Arts District. We would stay here again. We ordered breakfast from the café and it was delicious. The room could’ve had more areas to put your luggage and suitcases on, but it was very nice and we had a great view of the river. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The hotel is really cool but I was disappointed in housekeeping. The first morning I noticed the water, coffee, and tissues (which were empty) were not replaced. I left a note for the second morning and the coffee and tissues were still not replaced. 2 water bottles were left, which looked like they were filled with tap water. Also, there was only one person in the breakfast area this morning and a long line waiting for coffee and food. There should be at least 2, especially when we're talking about coffee :-)

We had a wonderful stay, staff was friendly, loved the ease of morning coffee at Afterglow and a rooftop cocktail. Saturday morning yoga on the Roof was amazing! And rooms were well equipped and fun. Would definitely stay here again!

Frequent Asheville visitor here, so I was excited to get to try Radical. Super cool vibe, large rooms, nice rooftop. My only complaint is that I booked a river view king room (for an extra $30/nt) and it definitely is not a river view (even the rooftop has a very limited river view).

Slightly disappointed by our stay here. Hotel can’t decide if it wants to be upscale or grungy; decor is close to being great, but not quite there. You have to pay for coffee in your room. Free coffee bar upstairs was under repair. New gym was incredibly cold and spartan. Hotel sits by itself away from downtown and a solid walk to river arts district

Cool hotel in the River Arts district. They seem to be working out some kinks in the service… front desk asked for my information multiple times, no bell service. For the price, I expected more amenities in regards to service. The room was really pretty, beds were very comfortable, bath products were lovely (all by Grown Alchemist), nice coffee in the room. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Loved this location! i have been to Asheville several times but this area of the Riverwalk was new to me. It is fantastic. The hotel is so nice and quiet. Great rooftop bar!

This is a unique artistic hotel experience, superb execution on the big picture and little details. The food and drink are outstanding at the Golden Hour indoors and nice outside view and drinks at the rooftop bar. Pretty walking trails on the River nearby if you cross the bridge. Staff were friendly. It’s an artistic delight just to walk the halls at this place. We also enjoyed the Admiral for dinner outside the property. Recommend this hotel highly for aesthetic and culinary delight.

A true boutique hotel- thoughtful and original in many ways…far too fun to be corporate but clearly high standards. Terrific dining options both within and nearby. This will be a 'waterfront' area to watch and The Radical is a worthy anchor.

Located among galleries in the arts district, close to downtown. Beautiful, fun, and funky interior. Parking behind hotel is mostly gravel lot, although there are some paved spots closest to the building. A unique experience!

The hotel is artsy and the rooftop bar is nice. However, they will charge you for anything; coffee (I received one free token at checkin for a 3 day stay), parking, food overpriced.... Do not select this hotel for a special occasion as they will make no attempt at even a minor token of acknowledgement. Other than the rooftop, there was a careless attitude by the employees.

One of the coolest most stylish hotels ive ever visited, NYC and Tokyo included. Staff bent over backwards to be helpful. Super convenient to everything AVL has to offer, esp the River Arts District. Shopping and eating paradise!

This Hotel was amazing!! The art was so beautiful and everyone was so pleasant and helpful. They had my son a birthday card and gift bag waiting for him at check in that was so nice to help celebrate his 21st!! Would definitely stay here again!!

Not exceptional as rated here. First disappointment was being charged for parking when on the website it says it was free. Response of the staff was: “ownership decide to charge for parking”. So its $16 overnight for self parking and $25 for valet. Second disappointment the sheets, polyester, which makes your sleep go from hot to cold. For and exceptional hotel you should have exceptional sheets, bot the cheap kind. No free goodies as advertised, except for a bottle of water and two chips (one per person) to get free drip coffee in the lobby. Everything else costs money and it is overpriced. It just looks like ownership decide to “unboutique” their boutique hotel. Honestly had a better stay at the Glo two weeks ago. Disappointing to say the least.
