Acceptable But For One Night Only

Location was good. The staff was helpful (they let me into my room earlier than the advertised time). Everything was very clean.

The rooms are in an old flat. Hence, the accommodation is neither a self-standing flat (where you would have a couple of rooms) neither an hotel room (where you would have some facilities in addition to a bed and bathroom). I took a single room and it was very small and it somehow looked uninviting and forlorn. I only stayed for one night and in the end it was fine but if I had had to stay longer, I would have hated it.

Superb

A small room as described with a single bed. All the extras. I loved the area and the building. Near the water, shops and restaurants. A good spot to stay , while exploring cinque terre without the pain of taking your luggage etc. Ferry down the street for the water access to Cinque Terre. There is an elevator but steps up one level to get to the elevator. I would stay here again! I would like to try a larger room.

Excellent choice in La Spezia!

Excellent stay in La Spezia! The owner gave us very helpful details about what to visit and how to reach the best destinations. There was a great cafe just next door where we had breakfast every morning. Our room was very spacious and had a lovely balcony. Also, the accommodation is just a few minutes away from the harbour - would definitely recommend!

I really liked it!!

location was perfect! 15 min walk from La Spezia Centrale train station, bus stops taking you to Lerici or Portovenere direction as well as the Ferry to Cinque Terre. Sergio is great at giving you tips and I’m thankful as following his advice I had a better visit to Cinque Terre, so thank you!

I know it’s a single room but slightly bigger bed would’ve been nice, but honestly that’s just me being over the top 😄 cause everything else was pretty great! and of course the check in times are not so convenient but regardless Sergio is pretty helpful!

well located to bus station and city centre. comfortable walking distance to the train station.

small details missing. No hand soap in bathroom. cold water non existent from bathroom tap.

Sergio, he was absolutely nice and helpful, his advice saved us a lot of time and money ..., he accommodated us outside the recommended arrival time, which we greatly appreciated. The location is great, it's a short walk everywhere.

Great place to stay and a very approachable host with good tips for where to go, single bed was a bit too small and the neighbours at times quite noisy with the open window, room was very dark with the sun protection, but stayed nicely cool, fridge did not really cool the things down

Superb

Hotel is located in the city center. Clean room, kettle in the room. Friendly staff. The man on the reception provided excellent recommendation regarding restaurants and places to visit. Nice place for few days.

We had interior room and it was little bit noisy. Only one small shampoo for two people per two days (however, shaving set was a good bonus).

Lovely place in La Spezia

Location is excellent and room is beautiful. Having the kettle in the room was very convenient. There is also possibility for heating/cooling with air conditioner.

Strange and loud noises that came from the wall, likely due to heating/ventilation/water boiler etc. Bring earplugs!

Exceptional

Sergio is a fantastic host, he took the time to explain us everything to do around the area. The boat trip he recommended in the Cinque Terre was amazing. The beds were super comfortable. Thank you Sergio for the nice stay! When were in the area again, we will definitely come back

The host was very helpful and informative, the communication before my stay was very clear, and he was very helpful in suggesting places to visit - for example, he suggested visiting Lerici which I would not have known about otherwise. The room was also very clean and comfortable.
