The Space:

Enjoy a newly added massage hot tub and spend hours relaxing after a long day of adventures. Or, drink your favorite beverage while reclining on the outdoor furniture and making s’mores in the fire pit. A gas BBQ grill is provided with all the utensils so you can prepare your signature steak or burgers.

Take a moment to turn off the lights at night and look at the stars when the skies are clear - you'll be amazed!

The house is less than a 5 minute drive from dining, groceries stores, gas stations, and everything you need.

Casa Canela has an open-concept kitchen and living room area. The living room contains a sectional couch with 3 extra chairs to accommodate everybody. Enjoy a movie or your favorite show on our HD Smart TV. We have a fast Wi-Fi connection throughout the whole house.

The house has a fully stocked kitchen. You will find a Keurig coffee maker with complimentary K-pods, a toaster, a microwave, blender, crock pot, cookie sheets, pots and pans, a dishwasher with complimentary pods, and cookware with a range of glass and plastic dinnerware. There is a dining table with seating for 6 and a kitchen island area with barstools.

The master suite has a king bed, an HD Smart TV, and a couch to relax on. There's an en suite bathroom, as well as a walk-in closet with lots of space for all your suitcases, bags, and more.

The guest bedroom has a comfy queen bed and a closet to put all your belongings. This room has a Jack-and-Jill bathroom.

The bunk bedroom has one sturdy wood twin-size bunk bed and a Queen bed. A small Smart TV, with a closet for your clothes, shoes, etc. This room shares the Jack-and-Jill bathroom.

You can also bring your own air mattresses to make extra space to sleep.

Looking for entertainment? The temperature-controlled garage was turned into a game room, with an HD Smart TV, a couch, a chair, a Wii U console, Wii games, a basketball dual shot game, also extra couches to play group games.

We provide a medium-size dog kennel located in the garage.

There is also a laundry room area with a washer and dryer.

We try to make your stay as stress-free as possible and save you from having to bring standard supplies. Casa Canela includes but isn’t limited to the following supplies:

Bedding and linens
Dining and cookware
Paper towels and toilet paper
Laundry pods detergent
Hand soap, body soap, shampoo, and hair conditioner
Hair dryer
Emergency kit
Hangers in every closet

Guest Access:
The home has driveway space for a few vehicles and ample street parking for larger vehicles, RVs, boats, and trailers.

The Neighborhood:
Located in a quiet subdivision just right out of downtown Kanab.

There's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: Squaw, Bunting and K-hill, all offering wonderful views. As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, and tennis/pickleball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale; Ranchos Park has great baseball fields; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours (they welcome donations). Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops. We love some of the local tour companies; they can make your travel time far more productive and enjoyable. Many of them even offer early morning pick-ups from Kanab.

Equestrian and biking trails are also available.

Getting Around:
You can walk to all of Kanab's restaurants and shops directly from our home but you will need a vehicle to explore the parks and other attractions. This home has convenient access to Hwy 89A/89 which takes you to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Zion and Bryce National Parks, Lake Powell, as well as the north rim of the Grand Canyon. Just minutes away from downtown Kanab, this home makes accessing local restaurants, shops, and grocery stores convenient and easy!

Here in southern Utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond. We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places.

Page, AZ airport is 1 hour away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3 hours away.

Other Things to Note:
For the safety of our property and our guests, we have cameras around the perimeter of the property. Some of the cameras are monitoring the front/back door as well as the hot tub.

This property is a pet friendly property and does require a $50 pet fee if you plan on bringing your furry friends. Pet Policy: Pets are NOT allowed to be unattended in the home at any time, please understand and respect our policy.

Absolutely no smoking or vaping of any kind inside the home or garage.

We offer a free concierge service with some great recommendations! Kanab is situated in the "Grand Circle" area and known as the "Hub of the Parks", centrally located among Zion National Park (30 miles), Bryce Canyon National Park (77 miles), the Grand Canyon (North Rim - 80 miles). You can also visit Pipe Springs National Monument (21 miles), the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument (15 miles), Vermilion Cliffs National Monument (77 miles), Coral Pink Sand Dunes (20 miles), Kodachrome Basin (93 miles), Lake Powell/Glen Canyon Recreation Area (75 miles), the "Wave"/Paria Wilderness (50 miles), Horseshoe Bend (77 miles), Cedar Breaks National Monument (65 miles) and so much more. Please note mileage is approximate and may vary by a few miles.
