About this cottage rental
Amongst the trees, away from it all and at the end of a long private driveway sits Garden Cottage; even though you feel completely secluded you are close to the ocean, parks, maybe stop by one or all of the many gourmet farm stands in the area, just enjoy the deck and the trees or in 18 minutes be at the famous Saturday market and all that Ganges has to offer.

We loved staying at the cottage, the only sounds that we heard were birds chirping in the trees.
We were able to use the kitchen and relax having our breakfast and dinner on the outside deck.
Watching the bunnies and birds from the deck was peaceful, and the stars, oh my, so many.
Would definitely recommend the cottage to anyone who wants a peaceful get away.

Delightful stay. The cottage is at the end of a long dusty road, but quiet and peaceful. About 15 minutes from Ganges and 20 minutes from Long Harbour ferry.
All was as represented in the photos. We would return.

Great place! Absolutely will be visiting again. My only suggestion would be to make the place dog friendly, as I would be back more times than I could.
Absolutely recommend the place. It’s quiet, tranquil and the hosts were GREAT. We checked in pretty late, and this was not an issue.

This is a must stay. Our hosts thought of every detail - great sheets and towels, decor, SMEG small appliances, charming dishware. Smooth check in process and hosts were accessible to answer questions. Quiet forest all around us, and delightful flower pots.

We loved staying at this charming cottage. Nestled in the trees, it gives the exact salt spring island energy you’d expect. We enjoyed sitting on the deck taking in the sounds of nature. Michael was very responsive. We will be back!

It was an overall lovely place, the owners were accommodating & the place was very comfortable. 4.5 stars because my partner and I biked from the ferry & it was quite the ride to get there - especially the steep gravel road that the house is located on. We had a fantastic time & I would stay there again in the future.

We had a peaceful getaway in this home with a forested view, large patio and outdoor space. The house was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Ruckle Park is fairly close by with gorgeous walks through the forest and by the ocean.

We came to Salt Spring to unplug from our busy lives and enjoy the market and other adventures, peacefulness and beauty that Salt Spring has to offer. The Garden cottage was a perfect setting for my partner and I and our friends to enjoy some time together.

Excellent place to explore Salt Spring. The deck was fantastic and the cottage was very comfortable and quiet. Would definitely consider staying there again next time. It was the ideal cottage to escape for a few days.

A very clean comfortable cottage in an enchanting forest setting. A short drive from the Fulford ferry and very close to Ruckle Heritage farm, one of the areas we enjoyed most on beautiful Saltspring.

This cottage is beautiful and very comfortable. The grounds are amazing. You could easily spend a week or more with all the size of the space, the furniture and appliances provided. Very clean and tastefully decorated.

Attractive cabin on a quiet and private hilltop. The cabin was reasonably well equipped. We did some cooking, so there was a few minor things missing in the kitchen. But the host was very helpful and brought items when we asked. The beds were really comfortable! What would make this property perfect? A hot tub on the large deck!

Set in it’s own garden with a huge, gated deck this two bedroom cottage was perfect for us two friends. It has everything you would want, including a wood burner in the living area and a washer/dryer combo in the one bathroom. So very quiet surrounding.

Lovely spot. Although I was getting worried about where we were going when we got off the ferry from Crofton. But if you were coming in from Victoria into Fulford harbour it’s a short drive. On your way around the island stop and enjoy the baking and fresh veggies from the farmers.

This is a beautiful and well appointed cottage set in idyllic surroundings with the peace only disturbed by the lovely bird calls! You can read on the breezy deck, cozy up with a show in the high-ceiling living room, or nap in one of the comfortable bedrooms. The kitchen has almost everything you need as well. We had a divine stay and hope to return soon. And our host Michael was delightful!

Michael was friendly and attentive in communication; he made us feel quite welcome. The cottage - exquisite ! We are frequent to Salt Spring to visit inlaws and generally pick a place ocean side or in town for walk to everything. For peace and quiet, and honestly, a divine evening breeze, and a pretty much 360 privacy , AND
-- looking out on towering trees and garden, can not be beat. Architecturally stunnding upgrades - the sky lights, windows and loft alcove; luxurious linens, beautiful quality - not brown - kitchenware, wine glasses, cutlery - just such gorgeous touches. The Furnishings, the vintage art & decor - so charming and absolutely made for an actual Cottage feel. The wrap around HUGE deck and lounge chair - my husband after a long work week, was planted for hours. Our Uni aged Daughter loved own bedroom with parents upstairs. Fantastic use of space. We toured Ruckle Park, and swam Cusheon Lake. It is not a place for walking with the steep narrow drive, and is 20 min to town, but highly recommend !
