This home used to be a German Beer Stube and the owners have recreated that charm and turned the property into a modern beautiful home. Step into this historic house, still with an iconic bar to gather around, and enjoy fun times with your family and friends.
Space is abundant with 2 living rooms, 4+ bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen, dining room, 2 bars as well as an office and other fun nooks to explore. There is a well organized mudroom which has tons of storage for all your gear with lots of hooks, cupboards, ski/board storage as well as heated boot dryers. There is over 3200 square feet and each large bedroom has a television, dresser and seating along with cozy and luxurious linens. All furnishings are new, high end and very comfortable. The home has just been painted and has been professionally designed for your maximum enjoyment.
You will not be bored at the Tavern House as there are 8 televisions, a Sonos system throughout the home and 4 fireplaces where you can get cozy. There is also a two person hot tub off the primary bedroom ideal for private relaxation. In addition, there are a plentitude of games and puzzles as well as an X Box gaming system all of which are ideal for helping you unwind after time outside.
The kitchen is large, well stocked, has a ton of storage and is great for multiple cooks. There is a 48" Thermador range and double oven, microwave, french door refrigerator, farmhouse sink, walk-in pantry, prep sink in the island with instant hot water as well as an additional 30" beverage refrigerator. Additionally, there are lots of small appliances - several coffee makers, toasters, blenders, crock-pot etc. and the kitchen is fully stocked with sharp knives, spices and all that you can possibly need. Although the kitchen is perfect for cooking at home, some of Telluride's best restaurants are merely just steps away.
In addition to all of the living space, there is also a lot of outdoor space for you to enjoy. The front porch is ideal for people watching with both a sitting and dining area. There are 2 covered/underground private parking places and heated driveway, a large side patio with more seating and a weber gas grill. Off of the primary bedroom, there is also a balcony with a private hot tub.
Each of the 4 bedrooms are spacious and have great storage for your gear as well as a comfortable place to sit and lounge. Each bedroom has a flat screen television, luxury linens, new mattresses, and cozy duvets. The primary bedroom also has a ton of closet space, a fireplace and an en-suite with a steam shower as well as a jetted tub. The den is a great place to work with a nice desk and lots of privacy but is equally well suited for sleeping with a new queen sleeper sofa and large adjoining full bath.
