Built in 2016, this 6-year new home is also new to the rental market and is a showstopper! Sitting directly across the street from the Commons Park, this Southern Living Inspired home has it all! Designer decorated with timeless and classic beach cottage furnishings, 4 large and comfortable bedrooms (one with additional bunks) and 3.5 stunning marble baths.
This traditional floor plan home greets you with a deep front porch offering not only hours of cool shaded lounging pleasure, but also renders a delightful conversation space.
“The Beach House" at 206 S. East Beach Drive is an architectural beauty that greets you with southern charm and coastal elegance at every turn. Morning coffee or evening cocktails on the wide front porch or take refuge from the sun or rain on the back screen porch while kids play outside on the private patio. This home has a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a second master with a queen bed and a set of bunk beds with attached full bathroom. The third and fourth guest bedrooms and bathroom for this home are found on the second floor with a loft sitting room that could be another sleeping space. In true BHI fashion, cozy spaces mesh effortlessly with high end finishes.
The elegant kitchen boasts GE Cafe series stainless appliances, quartz counters, custom cabinets - an inspiring kitchen for the gourmet chef in your family to cook up some memorable meals during your visit. You will love the round dining table which allows all to enjoy and chat during your meals.
If you need to keep in touch with work while on vacation, you can do it in style in the home office with desk, chair and computer monitor.
Enjoy the private courtyard patio which extends your gathering space for outdoor entertaining making this home one of the ''best family and friends'' homes on the island. For quiet time, while away the hours on the screen porch listening to the East Beach surf. Tour the island in two golf carts - a 4 passenger and a 6 passenger.
Bald Head Island is on one of North Carolina's southernmost cape islands - Cape Fear. With no cars and no crowds, Bald Head Island preserves the natural beauty and stress-free lifestyle of a simpler time. The island is blessed with 14 miles of pristine beaches, thousands of acres of protected salt marshes, and a spectacular expanse of maritime forest.
Climb to the top of “Old Baldy,” which is the oldest lighthouse on the East coast. It was built in 1817 and originally commissioned by Thomas Jefferson. Hike and wind your way around live oaks hundreds of years old and through the nature paths that Revolutionary and Civil War soldiers used in the ancient Maritime Forest. An upscale grocery market, spa, and shopping area is a short golf cart ride away. Discover the Bald Head Island Conservancy at the end of South Beach, where you can learn about the island’s wildlife.
