Nestled in peaceful farming countryside in one of the most desirable parts of Suffolk, sits this historic, 17th century Grade II listed barn conversion. Upper Barn provides a characterful abode for families and groups of couples looking to escape to the Suffolk Heritage Coastline.
Renovated to an excellent standard, Upper Barn boasts stylish accommodation, retaining much of its traditional character with the original features enhanced by the contemporary decoration and thoughtful touches throughout.
Downstairs, you'll find a large open-plan living, kitchen and dining area, all beautifully furnished and featuring exposed brickwork and beams. The property has floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook beautiful country views allowing natural light to flood in, creating a space that feels roomy, warm and rustic. There are comfy sofas gathered around a wood-burning stove and a flatscreen TV in the living area. The modern kitchen is fully-equipped with all the essential appliances and utensils for a self-catering holiday. Bi-fold doors lead out from the open-plan living space onto the beautiful courtyard garden where you can enjoy a meal together outside. Guests can enjoy the far-reaching, unspoilt country views, lovely for socialising over an alfresco meal and relaxing together into the evening.
With four lovely bedrooms spread over the ground and first floor, three benefiting from direct access to the patio and garden, this outstanding barn conversion is perfect for a family holiday or for a group of friends looking for exceptional accommodation while they discover this delightful part of Suffolk.
Lower Ufford is a sought-after village situated in the Deben Valley, a designated Special Landscape Area offering easy access to the Suffolk Heritage Coast. Lower Ufford has two good local pubs, including The Crown renowned for its excellent food offering. The village of Melton and the small town of Wickham Market are also nearby. A picturesque and thriving market town of Woodbridge, less than ten minutes away, is dotted with independent boutiques and shops, a thriving independent cinema and an excellent variety of restaurants and cafes. Suffolk's coastal highlights of Aldeburgh, Orford and Thorpeness are just a short drive from Upper Barn.
