About this house rental

Forget your worries as you relax and unwind in this spacious and serene getaway. Tucked in the woods overlooking a large pond, you are sure to enjoy this newly remodeled, tranquil retreat with hardwood floors and tile throughout the entire home. Just a fifteen-minute drive to downtown or the stadium and under ten minutes to get to the UGA Vet School. There is a security gate to enter the property with your own code. Featuring an open-floor plan with three comfortably sized bedrooms and two full bathrooms, this home also features an enclosed study perfect for teleworking or enjoying some quiet time. The kitchen is stocked with basic necessities and overlooks the family room furnished with two large couches and a 65-inch smart TV. Gas logs are operated by remote control. Seating is plentiful inside this home with both bar seating and a six-person table in the kitchen and an eight-person table in the dining room. The newly built deck overlooks a large pond and is furnished with table seating for eight people along with two outdoor couches and a 55-inch smart TV for your outdoor entertainment.

The kitchen features white shaker cabinets, plenty of plates, glasses and flatware. New stainless steel kitchenaid appliances, blender, electric skillet, toaster oven, hand mixer and most importantly a Keurig for making coffee. (Fire extinguisher located under sink)

The master bedroom includes a king size bed with plush mattress, plenty of pillows and a 55 inch tv. Connected master bathroom features a double vanity, walk in shower with pebble stone floor, hand sprayer, master closet with built in wardrobes and large full length mirror. French doors take you onto the back deck with rocking chairs where you’ll enjoy mornings rocking under the metal roofed pergola. You’ll also find a flat top grill for entertaining. (Fire extinguisher located on back deck)

The second bedroom includes a queen bed with super soft bedding, dresser and a closet for storing your belongings. Plenty of hangers and an extra set of drawers. Extra bath towels and blankets will be found in the closet.

Bedroom three includes a set of twin beds, dresser and closet with hanging room and extra set of drawers. You’ll find towels and extra blankets in the closet.

All bedrooms have pull down shades to filter the light or draw the curtains closed for a blackout feature.

The hall bath features a walk in shower with classic subway tile, large shower head and hand sprayer. Additional towels found under sink.

The laundry room is equipped with a stackable, full-sized washer and dryer. Steam function for a quick refresh or wash and dry. A small selection of detergent is provided for your stay along with vacuum, cleaning supplies and broom for any of your immediate needs. Full size ironing board and iron are located in the laundry room.

All televisions are smart TV’s so you can log into your favorite streaming network for your enjoyment.

This beautifully appointed and idyllically situated property is a wonderful retreat. We are so glad we found it. Our hosts are lovely and accommodating. As our family is only 5 mins away, we were able to visit each other often. We hope to return to this Cozy Athens Retreat.

Wonderful! Everything in this place was perfect and high end style. The picture made it seem like it was screened in porch, but it wasn't (we just assumed). The house was by a pond not a lake? (probably just the part that we can see and access if we wanted to?) Don't bring your wave runners!!! Shouldn't deter you from staying at this place because it was sooo beautiful, clean, and such a relaxing place. The porch was used every morning and night! We are already thinking of coming back! Loved our stay!

My family stayed the weekend and were blown away with this house! Beautiful in every way and just minutes from Athens. The house has so much room and places to hang out. Literally nothing was less than perfect. We will be heading back the next time we need to stay near Athens. If you are looking for a great place to stay, look no further!

We loved absolutely everything about this place! It was very clean and had the most amazing views. We used the beautiful fireplace on a chilly evening and loved sitting outside to play games or read. The kitchen was well stocked with pans and utensils for making meals, and there are 2 tables to sit at. We hope to get to stay here again!!
