This was a extended family trip for myself, 2 kids, sister and parents. Loved the house! The colors, design, layout makes you feel like you’re on vacation! Fantastic location to beach and we never left the area of property during our stay. Like some reviews have stated, no beach towels. Also, no shampoo, only liquid hand soap. The temperature in the house would fluctuate a bit. Rooms on main floor would be warm but living room is much cooler. Their book collection is gold! Overall, would love to come back. Thank you for a memorable stay!

We stayed at the Pirates Beach Grand Escape 2 and we had an amazing time. The house is very comfortable and the kitchen fully stocked with all the essentials. It’s a short walk to the beach. Such a great location! This is our 2nd visit to Galveston and the house. We highly recommend!

The Grand escape was a wonderful time! Great location and a very short walk to the beach. Had wonderful amenities especially the beach chairs, umbrella and beach toys for the family with bikes and ping pong table for family fun.

This house was everything we expected. Plenty ok kids sand toys the wagon the kids had a blast at the beach the house like 5 houses down from the beach which made it great for the kids. We will definitely be booking again have already started discussing a trip in September. Security was great also so him making several rounds during the day.

We had a great time at the Pirates Beach Grand Escape 2. It was just what our family needed for a fun filled getaway. The kitchen was great and provided everything we needed. The couches and beds were super comfy. Great location….easy walk to beach….very nice neighborhood….and close to a mini store for those last minute items. The 2 patios were relaxing in the morning and evening time with coffee or a glass of wine.

We were in town for a martial arts tournament and needed a place to spread out and have quiet. The house was beautiful and clean. Communication was super easy and fast. We wish we could have spent more time there and would definitely book it in the future.

My family and I were in need of a weekend getaway and this property was exactly what we were looking for. It is well decorated, clean, relaxing, has plenty of seating both inside and out and had everything we needed. I was in such a hurry to get out of town I forgot all the beach supplies for a getaway to the beach. Luckily that had it all, umbrella, chairs, toys, wagon. The kitchen is well stocked and the bathrooms had plenty of towels and washcloths. The beds were comfortable and we really enjoyed hanging out on the decks listening to the ocean. Overall, this is a great place to stay, don't hesitate, rent it now.

We booked this house as a mini pre-cruise vacation for our family. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, with walking distance to the beach. The house was very clean, very spacious and awesome outdoor seating areas. I would definitely recommend this vacation rental for your next stay and will seek it out for our next family trip to Galveston.

Stepping inside for the first time into this lovely home took my breath away. Its immediately welcoming and visually stunning. The entire house is impeccably clean, the kitchen is well appointed, mattresses and pillows comfortable and the layout of the home provides multiple gathering places for groups to enjoy. We were also surprised to find a ping pong table, bikes, boogie boards, beach and private outdoor shower on the ground floor. Great location also. Ten out of ten.

I very much enjoyed my stay at this property. It was homey, cute, and had the amenities we needed for cooking and beach visits. The patios are great, and the rooms are nice. There were not a lot of towels available. Our host never messaged us back and we had trouble with check in for that reason.

This was the perfect spot for a beach getaway. We took a walk to the beach every morning to let the kids beachcomb, walked back for breakfast and hit the beach again right after. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed to cook all of our meals during our stay. My only regret was not staying longer!

Did a family vacation and everyone absolutely loved the place. It was spacious, full of linen and extra blankets. The kitchen was equipped with everything. Clean place. Wonderful location-walking distance to the beach. Awesome patio with lounge chairs and swing. The house had everything you needed for entertainment; full of games, bicycles, wagon, beach chairs, toys. This along with having a washer and dryer was a bonus. A major plus is that this house is nearby all the restaurants, stores, entertainment. Overall, enjoyed our stay and will definitely return for another trip.

My husbands pillow had something that looked like spilt hot chocolate or someone had a bloody nose? The kitchen tools weren’t very clean and the couches and chairs have stains and dirt. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. Great size, beautiful furnishings and the bacolnies are wonderful! Easy walk to the beach!

Great home. Clean and well kept. Master bedroom TV did not work and the main TV did not have basic news channels like ABC, NBC, CBS AND FOX. It did however have CNN. Property management corrected that for us.
