Was a bit worried after so many varied reviews. The hotel reception is not very warming or welcoming but the receptionists were amazing. We were given a free upgrade after she noticed our room was next to the party room. This was most welcomed. The room was lovely - however it wasn’t serviced and the shower gel dispenser was broken. Another receptionist gave us information for local taxis. Very long wait for food on the Friday evening due to there being 2 parties. We waited over an hour and food was ok could have been a little warmer. The staff / waitresses need a bit of an injection of happiness - not one smile from any of them. Breakfast was ok a bit of a wait but very much it is what it is. We would stay again however.

A lovely stay for two nights whilst at work. The facilities are excellent, the hotel is set on a rather large golf course and is very picturesque. There’s a lovely little spa area and a large 15 meter pool with Jacuzzi and spa area. The hotel overall is very nice but rather bland in most places. I feel that it could use a little bit of personality injected into it but it served its purpose very well and it was a pleasant day regardless. I stayed in room number 245 and it was a great size and very clean. The bathroom let it down, however. It was very old and tired and the toilet cistern was attached to the wall with a block of wood. There was a shelf above the sink meaning the tap could not be turned on fully and, despite there being a note on the wall, it took ages for the water to run hot; resulting in me leaving the tap running for at least five minutes, which isn’t very eco-friendly. I would definitely stay here again though, but I would upgrade to a better room in the hopes of not running into the instances with the bathroom.

We had a great overnight stay with our 2 year old son, room was ready for us and the infant bed was already set up The staff are very friendly, polite and extremely helpful The breakfast was great plenty of choices even for a small child We will stay here again

I did enjoy stay! It's a nice place and the pool an spa really make it a tranquil place! Room was satisfactory but had to ask for new kettle and there was wee on toilet an satins on wall in bath room along with blocked sink an no air con so was a wet room ! If cleanliness was just that bit better an decor updateed would be a excellent place!

Nice clean warm rooms. Friendly staff. Used the pool sauna and steam room all good. Dinner at night really nice. Breakfast was ok, it was just very busy. I would return if visiting Woodbridge.

The hotel has great facilities for business and leisure. The service was excellent throughout my stay. Cheese board could have been bigger and have a greater variety of cheeses, but other than that the food was excellent too.

Disappointed pool was closed but we had a game of crazy golf instead which was good. Room needed upgrading but was clean with tea, coffee etc. bathroom was clean and good sized towels. Breakfast was standard buffet . Was reasonable price wise

We stayed in a "Deluxe" room which was very basic so no idea how a "standard" room would have been. Nice touches of branded coffee and toiletries but they didn't take away from the grubbiness of the bathroom. Generally old and tired decor in the room. Communal areas were much better and breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice. Pool and spa area was a nice space to relax but again, the changing rooms were filthy. Lovely branded products to use in the showers, but they were dripping down the bottles and clearly residue of products on the frosted glass walls between the showers. Disappointing.

We enjoyed our family stay. We had room 211 - spacious and perfect for a family stay. Even though this is the car park side of the hotel, it is very quiet. The on-site mini golf, driving range are both all family friendly and easy to use - we didn’t need to pre-book during our stay. The pool is a good size and you can use the hotel towels for swimming. Top Tip for families! Check in advance the pool times for family swims to avoid disappointment if your arrival time is outside of these times Special mentions for the staff, keen to help and friendly

Very hard to operate shower and bath, bath had almost filled up by the time I could stop the water, had to pull plug out, TV was old and small, 2nd pillow in wardrobe smelt, no view from room which was very disappointing.

Overall the hotel is okay to good Staff are friendly, helpful and attentive along with cleanliness of the rooms and common areas I feel the hotel needs refurbishing and bringing up to date they have done this in the spa and golf range but the dining area and rooms need tlc.
